Whole house was gleaming with happiness as today was shruti's engagement. Each and every corner of the house was decorated with flowers and lights.

"Tum kyu itni tension le rhi ho?" Meher asked shruti while holding her hands as they were shivering badly.

(Why are you taking soo much stress?)

"Meher" hugging her tightly she mumbled.

"Shruti bas mangni horhi hai...shaadi nhi" pulling out from hug she said while shruti's eyes was showing various emotions.

(Shruti it just engagement...not marriage)

"Yahi toh dukh hai" standing at the doorway he replied dramatically  making the one girl giggle and other furious.

(This is sad)

"Bhaiiiiii" she shouts at him while he  sits on the couch eying meher.

"Areey Rohan tum?" After a pause he said suddenly when she was busy in wearing her bangles and got startled by her brother's voice.

(Rohan you?)

"Ro..rohan?" Quickly straightening her hairs she turned around only to find vivan controlling his laugh.

"Bhaiiiii" throwing the chair's  cushion she again shouts at him making both giggle.

"Mujhe aapse baat hi nhi krni" turning to other side she said while getting emotional and her eyes getting moistened.

(I don't want to talk to you)

"Phir toh tujhe yeh bhi nhi chahiye hoga?" Putting a beautiful necklace set infront of her he said while her tears slipped from her eyes.

(Then you don't even want this?)

"Bhaiii" turning to him she hugged him tightly while he just stood still for few seconds as not knowing what happened instantly.

Hugging her back he starts caressing her hairs when someone interrupts them "Nazar naa lage mere baccho ko" her mom said while entering her room and getting emotional seeing their bond.

(Stay away my children from evil eyes)

"Mei bhi hoon piche" her dad said gaining everyone's attention.

(I'm also behind)

"Toh piche hi khade rahiye" fully ignoring him she replied without glancing the poor soul.

(Then stand back only)

"Dekhte dekhte kitni badi hogyi meri bacchi" kissing on the top of her head she said while wiping her tears which was slipped from her eyes.

(My baby girl grown very fast)

Rohan was vivan's friend, they also do their masters together. Rohan always have feeling for shruti but never have the courage to say this. At that night in the party he wanted to say this to him but he leaves early.

After that Rohan's family came directly to vivan house for shruti's hand.

It was too shocking for everyone but they agreed as vivan knows that rohan is a nice guy and keep his sister happy.

(Rohan sharma)

"Maa mujhe nhi krni koi mangni" turning to the other side while hiding from others she replied while controlling her tears.

(I don't want to do this engagement)

"Nhi beta aisa maat bolo, meine already bhot sari mithaiyaan ka order de diya hai" going near to her, his dad whispered in her ears but poor soul again got caught.

(Don't say that, I have already ordered soo much sweets)

"Itni important hogyi woh mithaiyaan?" Glaring dangerously she asked him while he starts sweating in nervousness.

(Those sweets are that much important?)

"Mei toh....mei...bas...woh" Wiping his sweats he replied while looking nothing at particular.

(I was just..)

"Kya mei woh..mei woh? Beti ki mangni hai aur apko mithaiyon ki paadi hai?" Looking straight at him she said while the other three people just watching the show as interrupting them makes the fight more worsen.

(What? Here yours daughter's engagement is going to happen and you're caring about those sweets)

"Ab mithaiyaan waste hogi toh accha lagega kya?" Advising his wife he said gently while giving whole attention to sweets.

(Will you like sweets wasting?)

"Mithaiyon ki nhi....apki beti ki mangni hai" enough of his rubbish she replied sarcastically.

(Not sweets but today is your daughter's engagement)

"Tum mujhpr taunt maar rhi ho?" Looking straight he asked his wife while gathering some courage.

(Are you taunting me?)

"Taunt marne ki umar nikal gyi apki" again giving him sarcastic reply she glares him.

(Your age of taunting has passed)

"Toh tum konsa tareef hi kiya krti thi" paying her back he said in same tone while looking sideways.

(When did you even praised me?)

"Tareef krne layak insan bhi toh hona chahiye tha" boldly she replied.

(Person should also be like that to be praised)

"Phirse taunt" again getting disheartened he said to her making her more frustrated.

(Again taunt)

"Ap pr wahi suit krta hai" checking her nail paint and without glancing him she replied.

(That's suits you well)

"Mujhpr toh gulab jamun bhi bhot suit krte hai" ignoring her vibes he thought about sweets and replied cheekily.

(Gulab jamun also suits me)

"Toh gulab jamun se hi shaadi krlete" again taunting the poor soul she replied.

(Then you should have married gulab jamun)

"Tum baat ko kahan se kahan le jaa rhi ho" frustrated by her behaviour he said while controlling his anger.

(You're taking things from where to where?)

"Mei wahi hoon apka dil hi machalne laga hai" even without glancing she dramatically replied making other's giggle.

(I'm here only just your heart starts beating for someone else)

They were taunting each other like no tomorrow when his phone started ringing which was lying on the couch, quickly picking up vivan said "Papa mithai wala ka phone aarha hai".

(Confectionery person was calling)

"Bas...hogya faisla" going out with stomping feet she replied while giving death glare to him making him more scare.

(Then it's decided)

"Meri baat toh suno" trying to stop her, he called her but no use.

(Listen to me)

Engagement ceremony was done perfectly with rituals and everyone was busy in themselves, some were eating with their gang, some were dancing, some were cracking jokes on their relatives, some were busy in flirting and there meher was alone, sitting in the corridor when someone interrupts "Yeh tumhare chehre pr kya laga hai?"

(What's on your face?)

Turning her back she saw him looking handsome as always and her heart again skipped "Kahan?"

(Where?)

Going near to her he pulled her against his chest and pecked her lips "Yeh".

"Haww" punching him softly she replied which turning crimson.

Pulling her more closer he starts kissing her jawline while she starts melting in his arms "Koi dekh lega" she mumbled which was rarely audible.

(Someone will saw)

"Koi nhi hai" he replied while kissing her lips passionately.

(No one is here)

"Vivan" pushing him due to fear of being caught she protested but he was not in the mood of leaving her today.

"Shaadi krlete hai" as they pulled apart he said while her eyes popped out from her sockets.

(Let's get married)

"Yeh ladoo sirf tumhare liye banaye hai meine" giving him a big box she said while warning him not to give it to anyone.

(I made this sweets just for you)

"Mere liye toh kabhi nhi banaye" her husband said while eyeing the box.

(You never made this for me)

"Kyuki ap Australia nhi jaa rhe padhne" taunting him she replied while hiding the box from her husband's eyes.

(Because you are not going to Australia for studies)

"Tumhe toh bas taunt marna hi aata hai" moving his gaze from the hidden box to her he replied sarcastically.

(You only knows taunting)

"Phir shaadi hi kyu thi?" Getting furious she replied while controlling her anger.

(Then why did you married me?)

"Mom dad" vivan interrupted making them embarrassed.
"Bas bhi karein" further he added.

(Mom dad...Stop it now)

In all this chaos someone was trying hard to hide her tears as the only person whom she loves alot was going far away from him.

He was not fool to sense it but it was also in not his hands as his further studies was very important for their business.

"Jaldi aaunga" eyeing her first then his mom he said while controlling his emotions to see the fragile figure.

(Will come soon)

"Mere liye makeup kit lana maat bhulna" shruti interrupts while he was still lost in seeing her.

(Don't forget to bring me a makeup kit)

"Aur mere liye chocolates" his dad said happily but seeing her his face lost all his charm.

(And chocolates for me)

"Haan kyu nhi" glaring him dangerously she replied making him nervous and soon he starts sweating.

(Yes why not)

"Mei...toh..bas sugar free lane ko keh rha tha" hesitantly he said while wiping his sweat beads.

(I was just asking for sugar free one)

"Aap toh rhne hi do" going out from his room she replied furiously.

(You let it be)

After sometime everyone was gone except her, standing in the corner she was continuously looking at the floor.

"Meher" going near her he called but still she was looking down.

Lifting her chin he forced her to look into his eyes, when there eyes meet her tears broke out one by one.

"Itna roo kyu rhi ho?" Wiping her tears again and again he asked while his heart was breaking seeing her like this.

(Why are you crying soo much?)

"Mei jaldi aajaunga" he again said but still she was crying like hell.

(I will come soon)

Not knowing what to do so he hugged her tightly while she stops breathing at that moment.

"Meher" he whispered in husky voice making her more fragile.

"Meher" broking their hug he again whispered and holds her hands making her shocked.

"I Love You" confessing his love finally   he kissed her lips while her eyes was opened wide like a saucer. Few minutes she was blank but as he turns the kiss into passionate one she  reciprocates.

After their first meet vivan developed a soft corner for her and now after waiting for soo long he finally confessed her as now he was confident that he loves her way more than he even imagined.

PAST:

It's been whole one month to that incident, she was returning back to normal but still the happy soul was gone that she used to be.
No one knows who did this to her as she got panic whenever someone asked her about that situation.

"Woh pool side se mera bag le aaogi please?" Going near to her she said while she was busy in busy in doing her homework and further added "Thank you" and left from there.

(Will you bring my bag from the pool side, please?)

Coming to the swimming pool area she was busy in searching her bag but there was nothing to been seen.

She was busy in searching when someone pushed her into the pool making her panicked as it was too sudden and hides behind the pillar.

It takes minutes to registered her surrounding and she got more panicked "Mumma" she was trying hard to come out but she don't know how to swim.

It's been about 10 minutes in the water and soon she looses her senses "Mum..".

"Meher kahan hai?" Seeing natasha in the living room vivan asked her who was busy in watching tv.

(Where is Meher?)

"Yahi kahin hogi tum mujhse baat kro na" getting disappointed on hearing meher's name she replied agitated.

(You will talk to me she must be  somewhere )

"Pehle mujhe meher se milna hai...mei uski favorite book lekar aaya hoon" without giving her attention he said while looking here and there in search of her.

(First I have to meet Meher....I have brought her favorite book)

He was searching her everywhere but there was no sign of her "Meher" he called but no answer.

"Meher" again he called but no reply.

Everyone starts searching for her by listening vivan's voice including natasha as she doesn't wanted to be caught.

"Me..he..r" coming into the swimming pool area he sees her lying in the pool like a lifeless object.
