Sunlight hit my face making me groan in annoyance.

Not in the mood to get out of the bed, I pulled the blanket more up and covered myself.

I just layed down there for more than an hour with eyes wide open, staring at nothing but the ceiling.

I sighed again and searched for my phone. I roamed my hands all around the bed and the side table but I couldn't find it.

Finally after another hour of searching for it all over the house I found it in my pant pocket.

Stupid Tan.

I turned it on and found 200 messages and 30 calls.

10 msgs and 2 calls from Taehyung, 2 msgs from Jungkook and 188 msgs and 28 calls from Pearl.

She must have been worried about me.

I sighed again for the third time.

I was too lazy and broken to read those texts or even call them back so I plopped on my warm bed again.

When I was about to drift back into my dreamland the calling bell went off.

"Wtf." I mumbled and went towards the door.

Firstly I checked who it was. Pearl and Tae were standing together and beside Tae there was Jungkook too.

I opened the door

"Why are you g-"

Before I could finish, Pearl attacked me with a hug.

It was warm, so warm that tears started building in my eyes. Thinking of all the possible ways not to melt or cry in the hug, I held them back.

But I did melt not cry.

She was so warm that I want to keep her in my arms when it's cold.

She was soft that I wanted to cuddle the life out of her.

Soon enough she did let go of me

I again chuckled, totally losing my shits, still controlling.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked taking a glance at the three.

"We were just worried." Pearl answered

Worried?

My heart skipped beat when she said she was worried.

"I'm so-"

She is more worried for Jungkook than you.

My mind remained me.

"What were you telling?"

"Nothing." I shook my head to Tae.

"I'm good so you all can get out of my house."

I know it's harsh but I can't help.

I don't want to see them all rn.

Jungkook's eyes are fixed on Tae with so much love which he never gave to Pearl. Tae's eyes on me with a worried look.

And Pearl....this time it was on me with so much worries.

Don't fall for it Tan, you will only end up hurt. You are just a friend. It's usual to feel worried for a friend.

My heart said as it was soo done getting hurt but still holds the whole universe's love, for Pearl, to give them all to her.

"Please get out. I'm tired." I said in a low voice and they went out with heads down.

I wished Pearl would take a glance at me in last before she crosses the road but her eyes were glued to Jungkook.

The tears I prevented started flowing

I shut the door damn hard and ran to my room.

I went in the shower and cried while getting wet.

"You were right." I said with a hand on my chest.

You have always been right but I refused to listen to you.

When you said she will never love me more than a friend I should have listened to you.

When you said she will never look at you the way she looks at Jungkook, I should have trusted you.

When she always holded my hand, it gave thoughts she likes me like I do, when you refused it, told me I'm wrong. I should have accepted the fact.

When she hugged me, when it gave me butterflies, when you asked me to snap out of it, I should have done that.

So we won't be suffering this much right now.
