Shawns POV (FINALLYYY!)

"I guess your right Shawney" Chandler sighed. We had a talk about Kade and treating him right. Chandler needed to decide who he wants. My doorbell started ringing like crazy and there was pounding on the door. We ran down and I opened it. Jax and Tobi were there trying to catch their breath.

"Kade.... Hurt.....Hospitial". Jax managed to say. It was enough for me. I grabbed my keys and we ran to my car. They barely got in before I drove off.

When we got to the hospitial we ran inside. "Kade Sanders" Jax said to the woman at the front desk.

"In surgery" She answered. I felt numb and sat down in a chair.

"What happened to him to have to have surgery?" Tobi said crying.

"Jax?" A man asked. Jax broke down crying.

"What happened?" I asked.

"His mother. He was shot in the leg. Damaged his main artery. The worst parts is the glass. It cut into his vocal cords. I cant imagine if he cant sing again. He wont want to live. Its his life." The man said crying also.

I learned the man was Kades step-dad. His mother was in jail and we were waiting for Kade to come out of surgery. I couldnt deny it. I wanted that boy. I was probably even in love with him. It was killing me waiting like this and knowing it would be Chandler he would want to see over me. What would I do if he wasnt okay.

"Mr. Crandal?" A doctor said. Nate stood up.

"He should be fine. Hes stable and currently awake. Now before I tell you the details of his situation. He is on pain meds but he is very upset. He keeps asking for a Shawn and I wouldnt usually let this happen but I cant have him talking or have his heartbeat as fast as it is. So is Shawn here?" I stood up. "Alright. Flollow the nurse". I cant belive he wanted to see me.

She opened the door and left. His leg was in a sling and elevated. He had sitches all over his face and neck. I wanted to kill his mother.

"Baby" I said walking up to him. His eyes fluttered open and when he saw me he grinned.

"Dont you even try to talk babe" I said tears in my eyes. He was okay. He grabbed my hand and yanked. Our faces were so close. I only had to move a little and ours lips would meet.

He smiled and whispered,"Stay". I closed my eyes to calm down. That witch had hurt my angel. I felt lips on mine and everything was forgotten. He pulled apart, grinned, kissed my check, and fell asleep.

I was staying the night. I was in a recliner and thinking about the kiss. He probably didnt mean anything. It was just the medicine. Yeah, it had to be.
