So this is Y/N?

Seems like they are majoring in Robotic Engineering...

They applied for the Night Guard job though.

Let's see if they qualify for the job.

I grinned and curious what this may be.

Let's put little Y/N to the test, shall we?

Y/N's Pov:

I woke up this morning with a ring coming from my phone.

I had lifted up my phone lazily and answered.

"Hello?" I mumbled.

"Hello, yes is this Y/N" A deep voice came from the other side.

"Yea, why?" I said still tired as hell.

"Well, I am calling to say that you are approved of the job you applied as the night guard." As soon as they said that I stood up wide awake now.

"Wait, really?!" I said now fully awake

"Yup, is it ok for you to start your shift tonight?"

"Y-yea that's perfect!" I said excited.

"Great! I will leave your uniform and badge at the office when you get there. Make sure to have it on before your shift starts, alright?"

"Mhm" you replied.

"Alright, I'll call you tommorrow after your shift, got it?"

"Yup"

"Thank you, bye for now Y/N"

As I heard the man end the call I stood there.

Shit, I got it?!

"I GOT THE FUCKING JOB" I said excitedly raising my hands in the air.

Now I can actually have money!
AND 32 DOLLARS PER HOUR?!

Suddenly I hear a knock at the door.

I calmed down and answer it.
Jason was at the door with a worried look?

"Uhhhh, hi Jason. What's up?"

"Y'know I live right under you right?"

"Wait you do?"

Y-yea!" he said giving me a nervous smile while scratching his neck.

"Heard ya stompin and screaming so I wanted to see what was all the commotion."

"Oh! Well guess who just got a job" I said smirking.

"Didn't you already have a job working st Starbucks?"

Im suprised he remembered that even though I told him a long time ago.

"Yea, but I got a high paying one, like I mean HIGH PAYING ONE"

He looked at me confused.

"I just got a job as a night guard at that Freddy Fazbear's pizza place."

"Oh nice!" he said.

"How much they paying you per hour." he asked.

"32.FUCKING.DOLLARS."

"DAMN BITCH?!" he said in shock.

"The hell you doin that they paying you 32 dollars for?!"

"Just being a night guard working from 12am to 6am"

"Damn, you better be watching the animatronics 24/7 for that kind of money!" Jacob said jokingly.

I chuckled at his joke. Jason seems like a pretty funny dude. I think I may consider him one of my first friends...

"Well I start my shift tonight, so that's exciting"

Jacob frowned slightly.

"O-oh. I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go to the movies today..."

"Oh. Sorry."

There was an awkward silence.

"Anyways, you should get to work in about 3 hours if you don't want to be late" Jason said as he looked at his watch.

"Huh...?"

I pulled out my phone and looked at the time.

"WHAT THE HELL ITS 8PM" I yelled.

"What? Were you not looking at the time?"

"Motherfucker, I JUST WOKE UP!"

"HUH?!" he said looking at me worried but suprised.

"At what time did you sleep?!"

"I DON'T KNOW BUT I GOT TO GET READY!"

Jason nodded and left and I went over to the shower.

After I was done I wanted to get there early to explore the place before my shift and get my uniform.

I changed into some sweatpants and a hoodie and grabbed my headphones, phone, charger, and backpack with some snacks and drinks inside.

When I was ready to leave, I saw that it was 9:27pm.

Freddy Fazbear's is about 10 minutes away in car so I was still able to get there to explore.

I got in my car and decided to start driving to the pizzeria.

Later than expected I arrived at the pizzeria at around 9:41.

I looked around and saw that not many people were here anymore.

The pizzeria closes at 10pm so I guess that makes sense.

I started to look around the place and saw a worker staring at me.

"Do you need something?" they asked.

"Oh, no I'm just looking around to get a better understanding of the place since I am working the night shift today as the night guard." I explained to them.

"Oh! The boss told me about you coming here before 12 today. You must be Y/N, right?" they said happily.

"Yup! That's me." I said confidently

"All right, well I can show you to the office where the uniforms are"

"That would be helpful, thanks!" I said as I followed them down a hallway.

They led me down a hallway that had no lighting.

"Sorry, our technician hasn't been around for 2 days so they haven't fixed that yet."

I looked at the lightbulb on the headlamp above. I saw that the wiring next to it was loose. That was probably causing the problem.

I pulled up a chair nearby and made sure the current was off before touching the wires. Once there was no electrical current I tied the wires connecting the headlamp to the electrical switch.

The worker looked at me a little confused on what I was doing.

When I was done I got off the chair and turned on the light. Not to my suprise, it turned on without problem.

The worker looked at me suprised but then smiled happily.

Then we headed into the next room which has 2 doors on each side and a desk in the middle.

"This is the security office." the worker said as they had also pointed to the uniform on the chair.

"Thank You!" I said and smiled at them.

They nodded and left.

I took my uniform and went to the boys' bathroom to put on my uniform.

As I walked out I looked at myself in the mirror.

Do I look good?

I didn't like my body. Jacob has said often that it looks fine but other guys have muscles and abs.

Maybe if you went to the gym instead of wasting your time on building some dumb robots maybe you WOULD have some muscle.

I often get little voices in my head that make me doubt myself or make me feel self conscious about myself.

I tried to ignore it and go outside to go around and see the animatronics.

When I got to the main stage I saw the 3 animatronics.

Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy...?

I saw at Freddy to see that he had black shades on(yes, Freddy has glasses because he's epic. Oh, and its for plot reasons :) and that's kinda the reason why I chose the story cover)

I don't remember Freddy having glasses last time I saw him.

"Ya wondering why he has glasses right?"
It was the same worker as I saw about 20 minutes ago.

I noded.

"Well, Freddy has chosen to wear glasses about 2 years ago for some reason. He doesn't like people taking them off and will try to keep them on at any cost and no one knows why"

I wondered why, but something caught my attention from that statement.

"Has chosen, as in HE himself chose to do it"

"Mhm. Not many people know other than employees, but these robots have emotions. They hide it away until after closing."

I was amazed. How does someone come up with that technology?

"So it seems like someone must have programmed them traits to follow and I guess they grow, learn, or adapt from those traits, am I correct?"

The worker again looked at me suprised.

"You seem to know a lot about being a technician"

"Heh. You can say that I guess" I said nervously.

Well it's past closing time and hour shift starts in about an hour.

"AN HOUR?!"

"I thought it's only been 20 minutes?!"

The worker giggled softly.

"Well try not to let time pass by so quickly."

Yea maybe I shouldn't wander off into my thoughts.

The worker waved me goodbye as their shift ended and left the pizzeria.

It seems I was now alone in the restaurant.

I decided that if I visited the 3 main animatronics that I should visit my boy Foxy.

I walked over to Pirate's Cove and I saw Foxy cleaning his hook.

I decided not to interrupt him and left to go check out the rest of the pizzeria.

Around 50 minutes passed and my shift was about to begin.

I had quickly made it to the security office and started my shift. I got scared as it hit 12, the animatronics got off stage.
