Soon the the moon high fived the sun bringing the stars and the night sky with it. Pop Village seemed very quiet and almost inactive until the music of the Hair Ball began to play. In the main square, Queen Poppy and King Branch,with the help of Princess Harmony, had thrown the most fanciest parties of the year for their people.

Fairy lights hung around and from the surrounding trees. Tables ,with white table cloths, displayed devine desserts, bite sized snacks and fine drinks that the trolls wouldn't normally get to enjoy at other parties. The beautiful night sky was in clear view above them. Every troll attending the rare event wore their new fine formal dresses or suits,excluding the glitter trolls, or had broken out their most fancy clothes from their closets.

The musicians on the largest mushroom began to play their instrumental song for the Royal family's arrival. Most of the villagers had moved to the sidelines giving space for their military and Royal family to continue their tradition. Queen Poppy with Prince Aiden were the first to come walk out together for the dance. They each wore a piece of jewerly or headpiece to represent their ranks.

Poppy's headpiece was her crown while Aiden's piece was his Pop Royalty symbol earrings that he had choosen himself. His forest green suit to match his mother's crown. Poppy's simple ballgown was Royal purple that she wore with her green and blue dress cape.

Princess Pippy came out next being escorted by one of her uncles, Uncle Floyd. None of her uncles were considered royalty in status but, they were still an valuable part of the family unit. Pippy's status piece was her necklace that shared the same heart symbol as Aiden but, hers matched her blue knee length ballgown. Her uncle Floyd wore his signture black earring and a black suit.

Once Princess Pippy and Floyd had joined Queen Poppy and Prince Aiden, who stood in front of the mushroom that was being used as a stage, it was finally King Branch and Princess Harmony's turn. The pair had unknowingly picked the same shade of Royal blue which they took in strive. However Harmony's dress skirt would fade into Royal purple and was knee length too. The King wore his crown while the future Queen wore a Royal purple heart headband like tiara,which did indeed feature the Royalty symbol in the center. As the father and daughter walked, Branch noticed Harmony's eyes searching through the crowd.

" Looking for someone?" Branch whispered.

" Just a friend. Jinx asked me to be his date." Harmony whispered.

" You sure that he's just a friend?" Branch whispered.

" Daddy,he clarified it himself when he asked me. Besides if he was interested in me he would had told me by now. " Harmony reponded still whispering.

" You'll be surprised. I was so nervous that I waited and chickened out first few times when trying to confess to your mom. " Branch admitted still whispering.

The father and daughter made a turn and joined the rest of their waiting family. Poppy signaled the band to change the song while Branch signaled for this year's group of military members selected to get into postion on the dance floor. However the first dance wasn't start that easily this year... The musicians' instruments had suddenly been unplug mid playing the intro of the next song! Everyone stayed where they were confused with the dance floor remaining empty.

" Whoa-oh-oh here I am, on my knees again..." An very familiar and unwanted voice sang.

" River?" Harmony exclaimed flabbergasted.

The Princess turned around to see her ex- partner down on his knees before her. River Roland. He was wearing his special formal suit that only those in the army could wear but,his ranking badge was now representing his current low level. When the cheating came to Harmony's father, he also discovered how River abused military privileges and had not actually did the time he claimed in his service. River had passed on his load to other soldiers during Harmony and his relationship then brided them to keep quiet so he could claim the rewards. Branch couldn't kick River out for cheating but,he had kicked River out after demoting him to his true ranking. The troll did not have the right to wear his current suit.

" I'll do anything, just to make it right..." River sang.

" Daddy!"

" What - Why - How did you get in here? I blacklisted you and you have no right anymore to wear that!" Branch exclaimed.

" Say you'll understand, oh, I know you can..." River sang offering his hand.

" Oh. No,I can't! " Harmony denied calmly.

She couldn't believe it. Not only was River here,he interrupted and stopped a tradition and was trying to win her back after one year and five months. Where had he been all that time? He stood a better chance marrying a Bergen than he did winning her back after she saw the truth.

" C'mon Harmony... " River sang getting back up.

" C'mon Harmony..." River's friends sang.

Three other trolls from the crowd,who had snuck River in, had joined in the song. They stood behind the former soldier filling their role as his backup dancers and vocals. Harmony glared at her ex and she wasn't the only one. Her entire family were throwing daggers with their eyes,especially Pip and Aiden. The younger siblings had moved closer to their older sister and each took a side to stand at. Aiden was on her right while Pip was her left.

" You cheated on me. Remember?" Harmony whispered.

" And you left me at the altar. Remember?" River whispered back.

Then River stabbed himself in the heart with an imaginary knife and dramatically fell backwards. His helpers caught him and pulled him further away on the dance floor so they could have more room for what they had planned next. Pippy scoffed at them without using any actual words while Aiden rolled his eyes.

" No matter what people say. " River sang.

" People say. " The three trolls sang.

" It didn't happen that way. " River sang trying to change Harmony's perspective.

" Happen that way."

River smirked as he was thrown up into the air and landed right on his feet. Him and his backup performers started doing fancy foot work while staying in one place. The unware trolls in the crowd were charmed by the show River is providing. They made small sounds of admiration in the background. Harmony crossed her arms unimpressed.

" Oh really?" Harmony said unconvinced.

" She was a passing fling. " River sang lying.

" Passing fling..."

" And not a permanent thing. " River sang but,technically wasn't lying.

" Permanent thing... "

" Say you'll understand. " River sang.

" Understand..."

" Oh I know you can. " River sang insistingly.

" Know you can..."

Aiden walked away towards the entrance of the Hair Ball looking for guards on duty. He passed the prancing cheater and his "Yes" men, like they were annoying mosquitoes. Some of trolls in the crowd tried to get the Prince's attention but,he flat out ignored them. Once he reached the guards, Aiden tapped one of them on the shoulder causing them to turn around.

" Can I borrow that for a moment? I'll bring it back clean if it gets dirty. " Aiden asked gesturing to the sword in the guard's hand.

The guards looked at the sword then glanced at each other unsure. The Prince stood silently and patiently waiting for an answer. He bite down on his lower lip still looking at the sword he wanted to use on the unwelcomed guest.

"C'mon Harmony, c'mon Harmony, c'mon Harmony
Say you can understand, my Harmony. " River sang still trying convince his ex to come back to him.

"Harmony, Harmony, Harmony..." His friends sang softly repeatedly.

Pippy signaled to near by waiter to come,who just happened to have a pie in his hands. The working troll pointed to himself as if asking if the princess was directing her hand movements to him. She nodded her head confirmingly. As a result the waiter walked over with the pie still in hand and Pip happily and gently took it from him.

"Thankyou. You can go. " Pip thanked quietly.

Roland tried to grab Harmony's hand and pull her onto the dance floor with him but, she jerked her arm away growling at him. The woman turned her back with her hands now turned into fists by her side. She folded her arms once again not wanting to see River's face.

" It was just one little mistake..." River undermined.

" Little?!" Harmony repeated angrily turning around.

That was first time Harmony ever raised her voice angrily or shown River that she was angry. During their relationship she was good at controlling her temper and still is but, at this very moment? The pink troll was tired of being the calm and understanding one.

" Well now your big blue eyes. " River sang desperately.

"Big blue eyes..."

" Are all full of tears. " River sang.

"Full of tears... "

" From the bitterness. " River sang.

"Bitterness..."

" Of my cheatin' years. " River sang admitting what he did for the first time.

"Of my cheatin' years..."

River slowly walked backwards growing scared of Harmony. The Princess just followed him not speeding up or slowing down her walking pace. Her eyes were throwing the sharpest daggers. The fact that Harmony was silent made her even more scarier. Pippy threw the pie at his face but, River quickly got on his knees practically begging for forgiveness. The pie unfortunately hit a random troll in the crowd behind it's orginal target.

" So I hang my head. " River sang.

" Hang my head..."

" Wish that I was dead. " River sang trying to manipulate Harmony into feeling sorry for him.

"I was dead..."

Aiden's pink hair wrapped around the toxic ex and pulled him back to the middle of the dance floor. He had the sword he asked for in hand. Branch wrapped his arms around Poppy holding her back for just in case she wanted to put a stop to everything. More fear filled River's soul when he noticed the sharp edge of the sword.

" I can help with that... Stay still!" Aiden said happily then became very serious at the end.

" C'mon Harmony, c'mon Harmony, c'mon Harmony!" River sang calling out for help.

Pippy attempted to whack River's left side of his face as Aiden had raised his sword but, to their disappointments he ducked and rolled himself towards the stage to avoid death. When he stopped rolling and performed a back flip landing before his King and Queen,who were staring at him. Then suddenly the teal troll was grabbed and dragged by none other than Aiden and Pippy back to Harmony. They threw him towards their sister so he could face her one last time.

" Think you've got the best of me
Think you've had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone... " Harmony sang lowly and angrily.

River nervously laughed.

" Hmm - No..."

" Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby you don't know me cause you're dead wrong... " Harmony sang with her voice steadily becoming louder.

" Hon. Honey. Harmony, let's be civil about this. I remembered you being mature than this." River said trying both reason with and calm her down.

The unwanted guest slowly backed up as he spoke. The crowd of trolls had moved from the sidelines to mostly be in front of the entrance to the ball. Everyone moved to avoid being caught in whatever was happening. The guests weren't fully sure if they understood everything that happened before their so far. It was a lot to unpack.

" What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone!" Harmony sang confidently and angrily.

River contuined to walk backwards terrified of what Harmony might do to him. She harshly poked his chest as she expressed to him how she actually felt. The Princess had completely forgetten about the other trolls,her family,Jinx and the ball itself. All she cared about in that moment was finally and directly giving her cheating ex a piece of her mind. She was done being quiet for his sake!

" What does not kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone
Don't think that I'd come back
I'd come back swinging! " Harmony sang proudly.

River tried to hide in the crowd but, the mad woman followed him not letting anyone or anything stop her. He pulled other trolls in front of him every few seconds using the bystander as troll shields. River covered his face with his hands to protect it as Harmony began to show him that she knew the movements of how to punch.

" Not the face! " River begged.

With one mighty swing the female troll punched, what she considered a pest, right into his chest! Roland fell onto the grass clutching his chest in pain. He never knew Harmony could strike like that or that she had that much strength in her body!

River struggled to get back up again as he contuined to reverse crawl. Every troll that happened to be behind him would move out of the way. Even the trolls beside the ex - partners would backup to give them more space. By the time River was close to both the entrance and exit,the guards who recognized him grabbed him by the shoulders and roughly picked him up back on his feet. They tighten their grip on the unwanted troll preparing themselves to litteraly throw him out.

" Well it's time to say Good Bye!" Harmony unleashed the highest high note she ever sang.

The guards dragged River out of the event then threw him into the air without any hestiantion! The now flying troll fell and crashed into one of the bushes. His heart pounded in his chest loudly as he went head first disappearing into the bush. The guards locked their sights on where he crashed making sure that River wouldn't try to sneak back in.

" Bye-bye..." Harmony softly and happily sang.

She put her hands on hips proudly smiling over how she handled this situation very differently from the past. When the woman turned around she noticed the big gap between the crowd of guests which gave her a clear view of where her family members stood and that everybody was staring at her. Branch struggled to hide his pride over everything his adult children had done and also holding back the urge to yell "That's my girl!"

" That's My Baby! " Poppy yelled proudly.
