It was 30 minutes past 11 in the night, RJ Sonali was already getting late to go back home. Her driver was no where to be seen. She was getting a negative vibe from the usual parking lot where she was waiting for Dada to come & pick her up. The parking space was just an open area with a low boundary made of loosely arranged bricks. There were thorny bushes near by. An ideal setting for a horror story.

She heard some noises coming from the bushes.

"Kaun hai?" She turned around to ask. Silence prevailed, nothing could be heard except the wind. Few leaves got drifted away with it.

"Dada?" She called out again to confirm if it was Sourabh playing one of his pranks. "Dada ... If it's you to bol do ... You know I don't like such pranks ... Ele? Dada? Koi hai?"

She heard a twig break under someone's feet. Starled by the sound Sona turned around just in time to catch hold of someone who was aiming a gun at her. The person was wearing a black dhoti pant with a black full sleeves Kurta. A black handkerchief securely wrapped the face of the person who held a badge written Agent 271. The only other mark of identity was her long black nails which confirmed that it was a woman.

After placing a quick glance at the her Sonali held the gun with great agility & kicked in her stomach with an equally great force, leaving the lady in shock but before she could give a jaw-shaking punch to her the 271 defended herself by blocking Sonali's punch with precision that could only be gathered with long years of martial arts training but Sona was a karate champion herself she didn't waste time & gave a deadly blow at her other hand which made the gun fall from it. The assassin tried to pick it up but Sona backed off & jumped to give a kick on her face. Hard luck!! The assassin held her leg in mid air, blocking the kick & pushing her back. She picked up her gun & was about to shoot but Sona had got up & was now running away. Agent 271 followed but tripped in between which led to the mask fall from her face. Sonali turned around she was about to catch a glimpse of 271's face when she made a retreat. Sonali followed her but she was too quick while running she tripped again near a bush. The thorns of the bush pierced her forearm leaving a deep cut. Sonali tried to catch her but she disappeared.

"Shona" She heard Sourabh call from behind. Sona turned around & found Sourabh looking at the gun which was lying on the ground. His face was flushed with fear.

"Dada" Sonali went & hugged him.

"You are brave."

"Brave enough to defend my life"

Sourabh picked up the gun. "Was it an attack or a normal robbery."

"Robberies have turned normal for us after facing such attacks na"

"It was an attack then?"

"Hmm"

"But after all these years..."

"Don't worry Dada ... if they know where I am who I am ... they won't stop they'll attack again. .. All I am worried about is the safety of the people I love"

"We are fine as long as you are there"

"I am happy as long as you all protect me Dada but don't tell this to Ele she would get scared."

"Dev" Sona knocked at his door

"Yes Ms. Bose" Dev replied

"I need another day's off"

"Why?"

"Everyone back home are planning a picnic ... I ... I don't want to be left out ... Moreover Jatin will be returning back to Kolkata soon &"

"Jatin wapas jaa raha hai💃💃💃💃💃😆😆😆" Dev squeeled with excitement. Sona gave him a deathly glare. Some how Dev didn't like Jatin even after Sona's explanation. He just didn't like sharing Sona with anyone & Jatin was too close to her. He knew everything about her even Golu knew more about Sona than Dev but he was trying not to push her if she wanted to maintain that mysterious air around her regarding her private life. After the beach incident Dev had began to notice the secrecacy around Sona.

"I mean oh so sad humara Jattu jaa raha hai" Dev corrected his sentence

"Zyaada bano mat" Sona said " Mujhe Sab pata hai tumhare & Jatin me abhi bhi nahi banti"

"Uhh... Why do you know me so much?"

"Because I'm your friend"

"Best friend"

"Are you just friends?" They heard Nikki speak from behind "Mujhe to nahi lagta after all Pyaar Dosti Hai😉"

"Bahut novels padhne lagi hai tu" Dev spoke trying to hide the smile that was crawling on his lips

"Sab wattpad ka kamal hai" Nikki said

"Kaha kaha se laati hai ye apps" Dev asked

"Leave that ... Sona di ... Ms. Nikkita Dixit will only grant you a leave if you promise me that we can join you on the picnic" Nikki said in a royal way

"Hello" Dev got up "You can't give orders to my best friend"

"Just friends?" Saying so "Nikki ran away"

Sona was smiling & then said, " I think that the two of you should join us"

"So sweet of you Ms. Bose"

"Sweetness ki baat nahi hai Mr Dixit Mai nahi chahti ki aap humein dhundhte huye firse aayein & jealous hokar kuch ulta seedha karein"

Sona went out of the room after saying this witty remark while Dev stayed inside thinking that he had been tongue tied twice in a day once by his sister & then by his best friend.

The day went by as usual. It was time for Sona to leave. She was just leaving the Dixit mansion when Dev called her

"Hello"

"Sonakshi you are leaving?"

"Uhhh obviously"

"Wait ... I'll drop you"

"Fine I'm standing outside your house ... Jaldi aao"

Sonakshi disconnected the call & was about to put her phone in her bag when a theif came out of nowhere & pointed his knife at her "Chup chap ye phone mujhe dede" He ordered her

Sonakshi was petrified & was about to give her phone to the thief when Dev came to her rescue & started beating the goon black & blue. Sona stayed back & looked at him with a completely terrified face. The security guards of the house came there & held the thief while Dev backed off

"I'm sorry Sona" Dev said when he approached Sonakshi "I know you get scared of violence but this kind of a reaction can cost you your life. You need to show some courage in such life risking situations."

Sonakshi just hugged him & nodded her head. They went inside Dev's car & Dev dropped her at Karan & Krystle's (KryAn) house
