Dev had gone insane preparing for Sona's fairytale proposal & he was being helped by his new bestie Jattu Bhaiya. Who would have thought that Jattu Bhaiya & Boss ji would grow into such good friends that whenever they would see each other yaara teri yaari ko maine to khuda mana type songs would play in their heads! Jatin & Juhi were cross checking the final arrangements

"Juhi ji I think we have some good connection!" Jatin chimed

"Really Jatin ji?" Juhi said

"Yes. Something like a raaz pichle ff o
i mean pichle janam ka"

"Aap late ho gaye iss janam me Jatin ji. I'm already engaged"

Jatin: Kya hai?
Riti: Tera iss ff me kuch ho nahi paayega
Jatin: 😑😑
Riti:Relax kar agle wale me try karte hai na)

After making sure that everything was in its place. Dev went to get ready. He told Juhi to bring Sona to the backyard of Jatin's house where he had made all arrangements.

Juhi went to Sonakshi room's with a beautiful blue princess gown in her hand. She also had got a tiara made of flowers for her.

"Sona" Juhi called her "Dress up quickly"

"Why?"

" Wo ... I thought this dress would look good on you please try it na Sona"

"Na ... Juhi I'm tired"

"Aise kaise tired please!!"

"Fine"

Sona took the gown & went to change. She came out looking absolutely breathtaking.

"Perfect ... Just perfect" Juhi complimented her "Now wear this fast" Juhi gave her the tiara

Sona positioned it on her head.

"Dekh liya now I'm gonna change" Sona headed back to the washroom

"Ruk ruk ruk" Juhi stopped her

Sona looked at her suspiciously. "Now what"

"Change mat karo ... Wo... Ummm... Time waste hoga na"

"Time waste?"

"Wo peeche wale garden me attack ho gaya hai"

"What?"

Sona picked up her gun & rushed to the garden where Dev was waiting for her in a black & white three piece suit.

"Are baap re ye gun kis liye?" Dev asked her "Ladki ho ya revolver rani?"

"Kaha hai wo log?" Sona was shouting "No one will be spared"

"What?"

"Juhi told me there is an attack "

Dev was laughing.

"Has kyu rahe ho?"

"Tum neeche nahi aa rahi hogi & usne ye mazedaar trick nikal li hogi"

Sona's jaw dropped to the ground & then she looked around to see the arrangements. The entire garden was decorated in cinderella theme. The plants were decorated with fairy lights. Blue & white curtains were draped around trees. The setting sun was giving a perfect contrast to the arrangements. Sona looked around & found cut outs from Disney's Cinderella all over the place. Right in the middle of the garden was a multi tier cake & many cup cakes topped with a castle.

A particular poster caught her attention which said Princesses can be tested but can never lose!

"

All of this is for me?" Sona asked

"Nahi apne Fatehpur wali chachi ke sasur ki bhanji ke fufa ke..." Dev said

"Bas bas" Sona stopped him "I got it"

"Good"

"Then?" Sona looked at him with anticipation

"Ummm... You like fairy tales right?"

"Yes"

"To tum hi batao na kya karte hain propose karne ke liye maine ye sab set to karwa liya par aage kya karu?" Dev asked

"Seriously Mr Obhodro? Tumi eakdom impossible." Sona said "Mai khud hi propose na kar deti isse accha"

"Point"

"You won't do anything now?" Sona asked but Dev scratched his head like a fool. Sona turned around to leave.

Sona looked at Dev with her hands crossed in front of her chest.

"Look hi deti rahogi yaa aage bhi sunogi?" Dev asked

Sonakshi laughed at his statement.

Dev offered Sona a dance & she gracefully accepted. Interlocking their hands, DevAkshi danced just like Cinderella did with her prince charming.

DevAkshi were lost in each other.

"Ab kuch bolo bhi sab mujhe hi sikhana padega?" Sona asked with a cute face.

"Ahem" Dev cleared his throat

"Suno ... If you are going to hype this situation this much then let it be tumse na ho paayega" Sona said

"That hurts"

"I'm waiting"

Dev sat down on one knee but he lost his balance. Sonakshi laughed at him.

"This is one of the most weird proposals I've seen!" Dev stated

"Aur kitne dekhe hai tumne? Mujhse pehle aur kitni thi?" Sonakshi asked

Dev kept counting on his fingers for minutes that seemed like ages to Sonakshi & said "Not even one" He giggled like a kid.

"Very funny" Sona stumped her feet on the ground & began leaving.

Dev ran behind her & hugged her from behind. He made her turn around & look into his eyes.

" Gosh! Your are eyes are so pretty... I always wanted to say this but then you would say don't you dare flirt with me mai black belt hu... Every time you used to blush I used to fall in love with you all over again... You are really very pretty but the kind of person of you are is beyond gems... You are really beautiful Sonakshi inside out... I love you not just for your appearance but the kind of person you are. You have cared for me so much in these 3 months. Your job was just to look after Maa but you were there for me, caring for me, for my sleeping habits... You wanted me to find solace in music ... I found my solace in you ... My Sonakshi, My Solace... You once said that I define friendship for you, You mean the world to me Sona! I really really love you a lot. I agree that for a major part of our story friendship has ruled our hearts & love has always been round the corner but now that it has come kicking inside our lives I promise that I will fulfill your dreams of a fairy tale love story... I'll become worthy of being called your prince charming but you know I'm bad at learning so will you be there with me for the rest of my life to sculpt me according to your dream?"

Sona's eyes were moist & she was looking at Dev lovingly

"Bol bhi do Sonakshi!" Dev said "Mere ghutne me dard ho raha hai"

Sonakshi let out a soft chuckle & held his hand to make him get up. She hugged him & hid her face in his chest. "I'll be there with you till the time your lovely hair turn grey & your joints start aching, even if your teeth fall out I'll be there with you supporting you" Sonakshi said

That night Dev & Sonakshi remained awake till late night watching the stars & talking about every random thing on this planet. Dev didn't realise when had Sona fallen asleep! He pulled her towards him gently & kissed her forehead. He took her in his embrace & slept on the grass with her. That night Dev could sleep happily, peacefully ... The memories of this imperfectly perfect proposal still in his mind!
