"Kicchu Bhaiya... Kicchu Bhaiya"

Her voice filled the Dixit mansion. Music dropped from her words. A girl  of about 26 years entered the house. Freshly, out of medical school this enthusiastic & chirpy girl is Sonakshi. Her legs moved towards the kitchen but her eyes were  intently searching for someone.

"Ji Dr. Didi" A man of short stature,probably in his late thirties stood before her. " Aaj ka 'chaarat' mujhe de dijiye ... mai khaana banana shuru karta hu"

The girl nodded her head. She went out of the kitchen & climbed the artistic stairs of the mansion to reach a room. She knocked gently.

"Come in"
A voice came from inside which belonged to Mr Devrat Dixit, the youngest business tycoon  of India & probably the only  non-actor heart throb of the nation. He had seen a lot of hardships in his life. It was only because of his never ending dedication that he was possible to bring his family out of poverty. His mom calls him iron but there is someone in this world who knows that Dev is no iron but a normal human being who has crushed himself under the problems of his life & badly needs a friend, a companion. That 'someone' is none other than Dr. Sonakshi Bose the best nutrionist of Goa. Dev has appointed her to look after the health of his mother, Mrs. Ishwari Dixit.

" I have gone through Maa's reports. You are terrific. I have not seen such good results in such a short time" Dev said

"Mr Dixit"

"Yes Ms. Bose"

"You've spoken about all this in front of Dr. Awasthi too. Come straight to the point."

"What point?"

"Don't act smart."

"I am smart"

"You are changing  the topic again Dev"

Dev gave in. He made a puppy face & threw his hands up in despair.
"Fine you win ... I slept yesterday but..."

"Bolo bolo I'm listening" Sona said raising her perfectly knitted eyebrows

"I took the medicines to sleep" Dev closed his eyes like a baby awaiting punishment.

Sonakshi looked at the cute antics of her friend. In all these months of working under him they had began to harbour true friendship.

Dev still had his eyes closed, he was scared of Sonakshi when it came  to health. Instead of a good amount of  scolding he felt a hand clutching his wrist. He opened an eye to peep at her.

"Close your eyes & follow me" She said raising her index finger in a manner that was warning him.

She gently leaded him towards the backside of the mansion.

"Where are we going?" Dev asked her. Although  Dev had built a huge mansion he still was unable to feel the essence of his own home.

Sonakshi didn't reply but kept on dragging him. Suddenly Dev felt the concrete pavement of his house fade. It was becoming difficult to walk now. He felt sand entering his new office shoes.

"Are we on the beach?" Dev couldn't control his curiosity & kept on pestering her.

"Aunty ji ne tumhe kuch nahi sikhaya na ... Bacche ho kya 5 saal ke kitne questions poochte to!!" Sona replied

"Agar tumhare jaisi baby sitter mile to baccha kaun nahi banana chahega"

"You are hitting on me?"

"No"

"You better not even think of it Mr Dixit ... black belt hu mai"

Sona again dragged him closer to the sea. The playful waves could be distinctly heard now.

"Teacher teacher may I open my eyes" Dev asked in a kiddish tone

Sona didn't reply,she took out her phone & opened her favorite playlist ... She plugged in her earphones in his ears ... & played her favorite song ...
" Now open your eyes"

Dev turned his gaze towards Sona whose sun-kissed face was looking at him intently.

"What? Am I supposed to say something?" Dev questioned her

"Ufff Dev why are you so numb?" Sona was clearly irritated because of his insensitivity towards life

Dev took out the earplugs from his ears & returned them to her "I am not getting what you are trying to do Ms Bose"

"Melody hai Remedy ... loose yourself in the tune Mr. Obhodro ... Relax ... you need to find solace in something otherwise you won't be able to free yourself from those stupid medicines."

"This Bollywood music freaks me out"

"Then what is your taste about music?"

"Uhhh ... aaahhh ....aaaa ..."

"Bas Bas I got it tumse na ho paayega"

Sonakshi looked at her surroundings. The sea streched before her lying till the horizon. A soft breeze constantly played with her hair. The waves that splashed at the beach called her. She could no longer resist & she bend down to fold her jeans upto her knees.

"What are you upto Sonakshi" Dev asked her. His face was a mirror to the confusion going on in his mind. Sonakshi looked up & smiled. Her eyes twinkled with mischief. She ran & went straight near the waves. She splashed, jumped & played with the them.

"Sonakshi ... Sona ... what are you upto... you'll get wet"

"Toh? Billi ho? Paani se dar lagta hai?"

"Billi? Toh tum kya ho hippopotmas jo paani me bheeg rahi ho?"

"Hippopotamus? Like seriously? Aap dolphin ya mermaid bhi bol sakte the
... Obhodro"

Sonakshi signalled him to come inside the water but he said no by moving his index finger. Sona kept both her hands on her waist & leaned forward

"Coward coward Mr Dixit is a coward"

Just then her leg slipped & she fell down. Dev could not control his laughter.

"Mr Dixit!" Sona called out "You are laughing...you should have held me in your arms while I was falling"

"It's reality not a fairy tale" Dev remarked.

He went forward to lend her a helping hand but the super infuriated Sona pulled him down into the water. Dev was red with anger; sensing the consequences Sona got up & started running. Dev followed her but she was too fast for him. She sprang like a deer & he ran behind her admiring her agility.

Dev stopped because he was out of  breath. Sonakshi came near him
"Thak gaye Uncle? "

Dev couldn't speak. He raised his arms & formed a T indicating time out.

They came out of the water & sat on the beach with their legs crossed.

"Why don't you come out & play with the sea?" Sona asked Dev

" Nikki wanted a sea facing house" Dev replied "Never knew that you could have so much fun with it"

"Dev you need a companion, friend... you have buried so much in you vent it out somewhere, to someone" Sona said

Dev looked at her & kept looking at her for a while. He pulled her hand & held it while interacting with her fingers.
