Y/n's POV

  " Wait.. really?!" 

"Yeah. Because I'm lonely.. that's all." I said to Venti after I tell him that he can stay in my house. This homeless bard, I feel sorry for him.

" Oh.. um, actually it's alright. I might be a burden, Traveler. " Venti said awkwardly "and besides, Mondsadt is like a home to me."

" You really like to live in a simple life, huh. And no, you're not a burden. After all we've got to known each other well.. I guess. We just met 3 days ago and we are this close." I looked at him and hold his hands, "P-please accept! I'm not forcing or anything.. but I will respect your decision."

Venti's soft chubby cheeks were pinkish. He sighed, "Let me think about it first." he holds my hand back and he shakes it playfully with a smile.

"VENTI~~~" 

A childish voice from outside was looking for him. When I looked at the window, I saw a young and mysterious long-braided blonde hair boy  wearing exotic clothes along with his pixie companion... oh, is this the 'Traveler' and 'Pie Mon' that Venti talked about?

Venti's eyes are full of excitement that he bolted in the door to open it,  "Oh, Traveler!" 

He rushed towards the two and I just stand in the door. "Venti! Is there any quest you would like to give to us? Currently, we don't have any." the Traveler said. 

"Well, yeah of course I have a quest for you!" Venti beamed "Please ask my friend Diluc for a dandelion wine for the bard, please~ If he disagrees, steal some of those 4 big bottles that he did hide in the shelf, hehe~"

The pixie fairy look very grumpy and shouted in a very high tone, "That's enough of your jokes, Tone-Deaf Bard! We will never steal ever again after we just literally almost get caught, suspected us thinking we're the bad guys!" 

Venti stick his tongue out cutely while the traveler just face palmed. Venti looked at me for a second and back to the two, "By the way, I would like you to meet someone. This is Y/n!~" He grabbed my hand and force me to go outside, "Ah-"

"Oh, hello there um.. (h/l)(h/c) hair girl!" the pixie waved at me, and I waved her back

"Paimon, it's 'Y/n'. Drop the amnesia act." the Traveler joked, "I'm Aether, nice to meet you, Y/n."

"N-nice to meet you, Traveler Aether and Pie Mon!" I bowed. Venti give a scornful laugh and stopped when the pixie glare at him. "It's pronounced Paimon."

"Oh I'm very sorry!" I bowed again in apology.

"No need to say sorry! It's just the spelling." Paimon assured

"Spelling..? Paimon, what do you mean?" The traveler give Paimon a suspicious look

Paimon simply dodge the question and asks, " Anyway! Venti, why are you here in Y/n's house.. are you two.." 

"She's my girlfriend!" He smiles while he put his hand in his waist

My face was heating up as if I'm about to explode- well, not yet. Paimon and Aether just give a surprised look, looking at each other, and back to us, "W-woah, Venti. I'm surprised you have a girlfriend that soon..."

I squeaked, "H-hey! I-it's-" 

"How did you guys meet up?" Aether asked curiously

" At first, we did met in Windrise while fighting the mage. But we didn't know our names yet. Then on the next day, we meet up again.. when I found out this girl is stealing stuffs.~" Venti answered

"Y-you little bard.. but-"

" I didn't asked out.. right? " Venti slowly pinned me in the wall. His eyes are glowing, and when I look in the background, I see Paimon and Aether with their funny looking faces. I shake my head, "B-bard I- I'm trying not to break it b-but!-"

"Oh.. so you two are together." Paimon smirked with Aether who exchange looks. "If you two are really together.."

"Why not give her a kiss?" Aether finished Paimon's line, and snickered. Venti suddenly blush and his eyes were big, when he hear the word kiss. He stopped pinning me and look behind embarrassed and tried look brave though, "T-traveler, does that really is.. u-um needed?"

"I mean, you two are together, right? And Venti said before that Y/n is his girlfriend, right?" Paimon said

I can finally answer, "Guys let me explain it first!" I squeaked. Venti, Aether and Paimon looked at me

"V-venti, I think you just mean by a friend, right? And you just call me your girlfriend because I'm your female companion and a friend of yours, right?" I asked him awkwardly

"Eh?! Oh yeah! R-right, that's what I mean!" Venti said

Aether and Paimon's face were blank, "Venti, you're playing with us the whole time."

"No no no! Why will I do that- I mean, I'm not wrong, right?"

Aether started to explain, "Venti. A female companion and a girlfriend are two different things. Female companion, are just friends. While the girlfriend in the other hand.. well, is the girl you're dating with. In short, you're attracted and you both are in love to each other."

"D-dating..?! I-In love..?!" Venti's face are fully red trying to hide his face, and same as me, "N-no no! This can't be! That guy covered his right eye, told me with a dumb lie..!!"

"Kaeya?" Aether guessed

"Well.. this is getting awkward." Paimon just floats blankly. "That means, Y/n is Venti's friend. Just.. friends."

Honestly, Paimon did say right... but for some reasons she speak it very offending... at least for me.

Venti.. doesn't like me at all. I- Duh! Why would I? We just met days ago!

"Anyway Paimon and Aether. I would like to know you both better! Ahaha.." I laughed nervously, but Venti just suddenly cutted me off, "Let's save that for later~ Cause they have to do their quest for me~"

"We decline it." Aether and Paimon said at the same time. 

"Hey! Aww.. Pleaseee! I beg you!" Venti kneel down and hug Aether's legs, causing him not to move.

I just walked away, not trying to make things more awkward. I'm still not used of meeting new people. Aether and Paimon are mysterious, and they might be dangerous..

I just noticed, Aether also have an anemo vision, huh? Maybe he got it from the god.. Barbatos? It says that Barbatos is like a god of wind here in Mondstadt.

On my way to Mondstadt alone, I hear prayers of men and women near the big Barbatos statue, they're worship them. Huh, I heard that the god of Liyue and Inazuma are present, while Barbatos is absent.. is he even real? If he is, why he's not here? His people are worshiping him, praying for him, and he didn't even-

"Welcome to the Adventure's Guild." Katheryne greets, "How may I help you?" 

Oof.. I was already here in the Adventure's Guild. "I would like to join."

Katheryne nodded, "Alright. Please wait, we will prepare everything."

I've obtained lot of stuffs in the guild, even uniforms. It looks good but it just doesn't fit my style. So I just keep them inside my bag. I also obtained new quests. First, I'll do this little boy's quest about his pigeons and ducks. 

Going outside will be dangerous, but luckily I have my old Raven Bow. I can use this for fighting those silly hilichurls again.

"Phew.. that's a lot of work." I fall into the ground and rest. The Hilichurls just vanished after I defeated them, turned into ashes as it fades. The amount of effort I put onto fighting.. is getting better. 

Can I get strong..? In this world.. it feels like I'm just only an ordinary person at all. I don't have a vision.. Unlike the two, the girl with an eye-patch with her bird companion have an electro vision while the boy with scars have a pyro vision. Why.. I don't have any..

Thinking about it just lost my confidence. So I decide to head back to Mondstadt and going to climb the statue. But before I could head back, I realized that some men are behind me... They're probably Treasure Hoarders. 

They laugh devilishly, and got their weapons. One of them kick my back and two of them hold both of my arms, so they could steal my bag. "N-no...!!" 

A guy in front of me, holds a rope. He begin to wrap it around my neck, covered my mouth with a towel and... started to strangle me. 

I try to push him away and kick him, but he's very big and I'm the smallest. I try to reach my bow but a man pick it up, giving it to me "Wanna fight us?" 

I nodded in response. The time I'm about to reach the bow, he suddenly put it away from me, and break it... and give a smile...

I can't breathe properly and gasp for air. My vision become blurry and my heart is slowly pounding. My eyes are in tears, still screaming for help. This... can't be happening to me...

I'm... weak...

I lost my consciousness.. and before my eyes began to shut, I fell into the ground and see most of the treasure hoarders, too. They were.. screaming in pain. Something that makes them... blind... until I see a guy with a brown shoes on with white long socks.. and green... cape.. I hear him saying...

" Violence is not an option. If you dare to kill and take the life of my friend... I'm sure you will meet your end. "

I feel a soft and gentle palm brushing my hair.. and my eyes began to open. It feels ticklish in my ear.. when the wind blows in it. An aquamarine eyes glows.. 

Venti...?

"T-traveler! You're awake!" he hugs me so tight, " I thought I was going to lose you... *sniff* I'm so happy you're breathing..."

"Venti..." I hugged him back and cried, "I'm sorry for being reckless.. I'm just trying to be strong..."

"Don't worry... I need to protect you. And I'll make sure you're safe. I won't let that happened to you again." He said, talking about the treasure hoarders.

"Wait.. what happened?"

" No need to worry about them. Those bastards are now in the hands of the Knights of Favonius. They're in the jail now, forever. " A tall guy with red hair in a ponytail said, leaning on the wall. "I'm Diluc. Aether, Paimon and Amber are on their way here to check you out. Please stay and rest."

Nice, Aether and Paimon will be here. Venti grinned at Diluc, "Hehe, thanks for bringing them to the jail, Master Diluc! Can you give Y/n some dandelion wine as a gift?"

Diluc looked at him, "You're just going to steal it from her and drink it. Y/n is underage to drink wine. What a terrible liar." Venti pouted.

I giggle, "Hey you.. little bard, I have a reward for you."

"R-really?! Please I wanna know I really do all my best an-"

I kissed his soft cheeks. I blushed but just forget about it and smiled. His face turned red and was surprised. Diluc on the other hand, doesn't look at it and pretend he didn't see anything.

"Thank you for saving me... Venti."

Venti smiled back, "Ehe~ No problem, Traveler."

"Hmm.. so," I began and question him again "Will you stay with me?"

His face heated up once more, "S-sure! Ahaha!"
