PRESENT

"grandpa...i want to sleep with you."swara said with sad while standing on left side of his bed,holding her pillow near chest.grandpa stares at her face.his heart stopped after seeing sadness on her face.he nodded and swara keeps pillow on side,lays down beside him and hugs him.

"is something troubling my daughter?"grandpa asked trying to be general.

"nothing..'swara said,hugs him more and tried to sleep but it was far from her eyes.

"i am not getting sleep..please sing the song which mom use to sing."swara said after a pause.

"i am old now,my voice is not good as before."grandpa said refusing to sing and corrects his glasses and continue to read the case on file.

"your voice was never good...stop making excuses."swara said in mocking tone.he glares at her and she giggled.

"please grandpa..."swara said and looks at him with puppy dog eyes.he takes deep breath,closes the file,keeps it aside,puts his glasses on them and sings lullaby for her.swara closed her eyes and after sometime fall asleep.

"why don't you tell your grandpa...what is problem?"he muttered after seeing her asleep and caressed her head.

HOSPITAL

"swara i think we should discharge him...he seems fine to me.what do you think?"kavya asked while seeing the reports.swara didn't said anything as she was lost somewhere.

"swara!.."kavya said and keeps hand on hers.

'huh?.."swara said in confusion after coming back to her senses.

"i am asking something...should we discharge him?"kavya asked,repeating herself.swara takes reports from her hand and checks them.

"hmm...discharge him"swara said,nodding her head.kavya signs nurse and she nodes and leaves.

"swara are you okay?.."kavya asked while looking at her face.she was looking pale.she touches her forehead.

"swara you have fever..."kavya said in worried voice.

"i am fine kavya..."swara said in weak tone,removes her hand and leaves from there.kavya goes after her,opens her cabin's door and gets really after seeing her crying.

"why are you crying?.."she said and quickly goes toward her and cups her face.swara hugs her tightly and continue crying.

"say something...what happened?"kavya said worriedly and pats her head.but swara continues to cry.

"what did that jerk do with you?..."kavya thought angrily.

"grandpa i will be fine...go"swara said in assuring tone.

"but..."he tried to speak but swara cuts him.

"i took medicine didn't i....and i am doctor i can take care of myself.go now"swara said in ordering tone.

"you never listen..okay i will leave."he said,kissed on her forehead and leaves.swara sighed heavily,gets and sits on bed attaching her back to bed head and stares at unfocused point.she picks up mobile and finds sanskar from call log as she had not saved his number and stares at it.one tear fell from her eye and dropped on screen.she sniffed a little but quickly wipes her tears,locks the screen as it is,keeps it on side table,switches off screen and lays down.her eyelids started feeling heavy due to affect of medicines.

after sometime she feels someone's presence behind her back.she turns back to slowly and quickly holds the daggers with both hands which was coming toward her chest.

"what had you say?..come to you.see i came"the man in black mask said and tried to push harder.the daggers came very close to her chest.swara kicks on his chest and he staggered back.swara quickly picks up table lamp and hits on his head.

"you wretch!.."he shouted after seeing blood from his head and slapped her hard.she falls to side and her head strikes with edge of side table.swara hissed in pain and holds her head.

she tried to get up but she was feeling very dizzy and her vision started getting blurred.man holds her from and makes her stands forcefully.

"because of you i lost my happiness...you have no right to stay alive.Die!"he said and stabbed swara in stomach.swara gasped as daggers sharp edge entered inside her,cutting her flesh.man pushed her back and swara fells on floor,feeling no strength in her legs.he removes gloves,throws it in dustbin and leaves from there.

Swara hardly moves back and traces her mobile on side table.mobile fell down because of her unsteady moves on side table.swara moves it near her face with one hand as she was holding dagger with other hand.she hardly unlocks it but before she could have dialed sanskar number,her hand fell on its screen,losing all her strength.

"s..s...save me please."swara whispered in fainting voice while her eyes get close completely.
