"grandpa let me speak at least..."swara said in requesting tone but he holds her ear and twist it.

"aa....aa...grandpa!"swara cried

"what do you want to speak now?..is there something else?"he said  through greeted teeth and twists her ear more.

"if you will let me speak then i will tell you something.....leave my ear."she said,freed her ear and rubbed it,making faces.

"what do want to say?..."he said,giving her death glares.

"first sit..."swara holds him from arm and makes him and sits herself with him.before she could have speak,kavita and kavya entered inside.

"swara what the hell?..why are you not picking our calls."kavya said in angry and worried voice.

"what are you doing here?..."grandpa said in furious tone,getting up.swara beats her forehead with palm.

"she was not picking call so we got worried...we thought something happened to her."kavita said and both tried to walk forward but grandpa stops them with one hand.

"you don't have to worry for her.....she can take care of herself."

"we know that,how can we forgot....she recently beat goon at hospital.'kavita and kavya said in union,walked toward swara and gives her side hug.

"leave otherwise grandpa will kill you..'swara muttered in kavita's ear

"why?....what did you do now"kavita asked innocently.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY DAUGHTER...'grandpa said in furious voice and took out his gun and points at kavita.

"grandpa!!....what's wrong with you?"swara said in shocked tone and holds his hand.kavita hides behind kavya

"why...why can't i touch her...she is my..."kavita said in scared tone.

"you dare to speak in front of me after doing all thing..."he said in loud angry voice.

"grandpa! put gun away...someone will get hurt."swara said in worried voice.

"what did i do?.."kavita said cryingly.

"grandpa swara had forced her to do everything....she is innocent."kavya tried to save kavita's life.

"force!!!....everything!!....you two....God why didn't i die before hearing it....SWARA!!!"grandpa shouted and gun's direction automatically moved toward swara.

"grandpa will you shoot me?.."swara asked with big shocked eyes.

"first i will shoot you then myself...'grandpa said angrily.swara holds his hand and tried to move its direction.

"look like grandpa came to know swara was meeting that criminal."kavya muttered in kavita's ear.

"hmm....swara is so dead."kavita muttered back.

At that time there was a gun shoot and window's glass gets broken completely.kavya and kavita looked in swara's direction with jerk.

"you really shoot her?..."kaviya and kavita asked in union.

"GRANDPAAAAA!!!...."swara shouted in disbelief.

"i didn't...."he said but swara stopped him with one hand.

"don't talk to me...."swara said angrily, looked toward broken window and back at him then at her friends.

"both of you go to my room..."swara said in strict voice,they nodded and leaves from there.

"grandpa i didn't expected this from you..."swara said in hurt tone,turned,walked toward window,sit and started picking broken pieces.

"i don't know how i pulled trigger...i just wanted to scare your girlfriend.i am sorry"

"she is not my girlfriend...i lied to you that i am interested in girls.how can you even believe that."swara said in hell annoyed tone.

"really!...'he said getting very happily.swara looks at him angrily.he quickly composes himself.

"go get fresh....i will make breakfast."

"i am going...but does this means you lied also that you were kavita then with whom you were last night."grandpa asked in curious tone.

"grandpa!!!....'swara greeted her teeth with so much force that  grandpa hears it clearly.

"no..no there is no need tell me....tell me when you feel like telling me.i am happy that you are seeing a boy"he said in great relief.

"i am not seeing anyone..."

"okay..i trust you.......but you again beat men didn't i tell you not to do that,this is dangerous"grandpa said in scolding tone.

"can't believe it...."swara said,got up and turned toward him.

"those jerks were misbehaving with female doctor therefore i beat them up...what is wrong with that...huh? should i have stand there silently until they would hit her....that's what you want from me."swara said in loud angry voice.grandpa gets scared a little,seeing her angry

"whatever you did was right...i am proud of you."grandpa said with sheepish smile.

"i am very angry right now...don't me more angry."swara said in warning.grandpa noded and silently leaves from there.swara turned back and again starts picking glasses,meanwhile her sight fell on a white folded paper.

she narrows her eyes at that,picks it up and opens it and starts reading."next time my will be you instead of window" she stares at it for a long time then crumpled it in hand,picks mirrors throw it in dustbin and goes toward grandpa room.he was inside shower.swara picks his gun and checks it.it was fully loaded,not even a single bullet was missing.swara takes deep breath,puts it back and goes downward.

SWARA'S ROOM

"you know we thought grandpa came to know about everything"kavita said and kavya nodded.swara keeps silent,she was in deep thoughts.

"by the way why were you not picking calls....he didn't do something with you right?"kavya asked in concerned tone,keeping hand on her shoulder.swara looks at her and blinks.

"did you say something?.."swara asked confusingly.

"were are you lost...i asked did he do something with you? are you okay?"kavya said getting worried.

"i am fine but what rubbish you were saying in front of grandpa?...for what i forced kavita? she is innocent and i am responsible."swara said and slapped on her shoulder.

"you forced her to do your shift so that you can meet him...didn't you?'kavya said rubbing her shoulder.

'what was need to tell him that...do you want me to die?"swara said raising her to hit on her head.

"sorry...sorry"kavya quickly covers her head.

NIGHT

Swara was sitting on writing thinking about the earlier incident when her mobile started ringing.she looks at the screen and sighed,seeing the number.she attends call and put it on speaker.

"hello kitten!...."sanskar said in cheerful tone.

"what?..."swara snapped at him,annoyed at her nickname.

"such great manners....i am so impressed."sanskar said in teasing voice.swara cuts the call without saying another word.

"someone is not in good mood...that old foggy ruined everything,what was need to shot her,i should just kill him."sanskar said in annoyed while shaking his head and again dials swara's number.

"what now?.."

"come out..i am in front of your house"

"i can't come...grandpa is home"swara said,not surprised with his sudden arrivel this time.

"have some shame...how can you lie on someone face.i know that old foggy is not home.come out fast"sanskar said and cut call.

"how he finds out about everything..."swara said in confused tone then gets and was about to go out but stopped and looks at herself in mirror.she corrects her hair,apply natural pink lip gloss and walks out.

"there should be a good reason otherwise i will kill you...i am in very bad mood"swara said in warning,while walking toward him.sanskar raised his hand,which was tried with a white cloth and was red,showing bleeding.

"what happened to your hand?.."swara said getting worried,walks fast and holds his hand.

"small cut...but it can get infected without proper dressing...therefore i came here"sanskar said,acting innocent.

"wait i bring first aid box...'swara said and was about to leave when sanskar shows her first aid box.

"if you have this then why didn't you do it yourself...."swara said while opening the box.

"doctor's work should be done by doctors..."sanskar said,swara just shakes her head while doing his dressing.

"your fee..."sanskar said,forwarding pink flower bouquet.

swara takes it and looks at sanskar.he raised his one eye brow,swara shakes her head.

"ugh!!!..."sanskar said and scratches his head.swara chuckled.

"can you please give me a hint?..."he said in requesting tone.

"no!...'swara said,moving her head side to side.

"fine next time i will bring your favorite flowers..."he said in determined tone.swara bites her inner cheek as her skipped few beats.

"i am leaving..."swara said and tried to leave but sanskar holds her hand.

"didn't you say your mood is off,staying home alone will be depressing...come with me"

"where?..."

"for long drive..."

"if grandpa came in between...what will i say to him"swara said in little worried voice.

"are you still worried about that old foggy...how can you?"he said in annoyed tone.swara hits flower on his chest.

"have some respect,he is my grandfather......what do you mean by still?"

"he shot you and you are still worried about him ..."

"how do you know about this?..."swara asked in serious tone while starring at him.

"didn't you say he is angry...he is in police,its natural for every policemen to use gun when they are angry...i just had a guess"sanskar said quickly.

'he didn't shot at me....your guess is wrong"swara said and sanskar shakes his head at her lie,he had seen it with his own eyes.

"can you do me a favor?..."swara asked after thinking for sometime.

"what will i get in return?..'sanskar asked in excited tone.swara looks at him dryly then moves her fist in front of his face with jerk,he quickly moves his face back.

"want this..."swara said through greeted teeth.she had not forget what he made her do last time.

"no thank you,tell me what you want i will do for free..'sanskar said and moves her fist down.

"forget it..i will do myself."swara said then walks across car and sits in passenger seat and fasten the seat belt.sanskar takes deep breath and also sits inside car behind wheel.

"if you are not sad because of that old.....i mean your grandfather then why is your mood off."sanskar quickly corrects his sentence after receiving a glare from her.

they were outside the city near a hill,sitting on bonnet of car with cold coffee in their hands.swara had milk coffee while sanskar had black coffee.

"i am missing my parents...'swara said sighing heavily.

"this is all of because of that old man...i should just..."sanskar thought angrily.

"you know they died when i was five and grandpa send me London after sometime.i had spent my whole life there alone...i used to be jealous when my friends went shopping with their mothers or when their fathers helped them in cycling...."swara said sadly.sanskar wipes tears from her cheek with back of her hand.

"oh! why am i crying?...i am so childish to cry at such things."swara said,chuckling lightly and wipes tear from other cheek and gives him half smile.sanskar pulls her in comforting and warm hug.swara hugs him back and closed her eyes.
