December Special Twenty-One: Goodie Bags
A/N: Hullo my extraordinary Greekies! How are you? I hope you're doing brilliantly! This chapter is 1.8k words long, and I thought it was quite fluffy! Also, your bit of angst for the day is in the photo above that I got from Pinterest.

Lily yawned as she woke up in her childhood bed. She loved the dorm rooms dearly, but nothing beat the feeling of waking up in the bed and in the room you spent most of your childhood in. Lily thought the only downside was the fact that she wasn't waking up next to Elorie, kissing her little head before going to do whatever it was she would do.
Lily just sighed as she woke up alone. She nearly ran to Petunia' room and excitedly shook her shoulders, telling her there were only three more days until Christmas Eve and only four more days until Christmas Day. But then Lily realized that Petunia no longer slept in the room next to her. No, Petunia moved out last summer to a little house she and her husband Vernon Dursley bought on Privet Drive. Perhaps she should owl Petunia and ask how she was doing? No, Petunia didn't like owls, maybe she'd do it the muggle way, through the post system!
Lily quite liked that idea, Tuney may have hated her, but she was never going to hate Petunia. Lily threw on a fluffy robe (a gift from Hel one year for Christmas) and went to her window, throwing open the shades to let the bright winter sun in.
Lily chuckled to herself, knowing if Eloire was with her, she'd either stay dead-asleep or screech like a banshee as if the sun were burning her. Lily checked in the winter flowers in her windowsill and smiled as she saw that they were still blooming. Maybe she'd pluck one of the flowers off and use it in a wax seal when sending her letter to Petunia. They used to do that when they were little, make seals with flowers in them. Maybe it would help bring back some happier memories in Petunia!
Lily smiled as she went to grab an outfit for the day and put it on. She put the robe over it though, seeing as it was soft, she slipped on a pair of slippers and headed out to the kitchen to make some breakfast. Well, she was about to before she reasoned she could probably compose a letter over oatmeal, so she grabbed a letter-writing kit and then headed to the kitchen.
Lily danced right into the kitchen, a bright smile forming on her face after seeing no one in there. She could make breakfast for her mum and dad then, not oatmeal though. She spotted some flour and sugar and instantly thought of the Belgium waffles Pandora taught her to make about a year or so ago, yes, she'd do that!
Lily started making breakfast while thinking about how to start her letter to Petunia. Maybe they could talk about their loves? That would be nice, she could find out some of the more lovely qualities of Vernon while she could also write about Eloire, it was a win-win situation! She'd wish her an early Christmas as well since Petunia didn't want to come to the Potters. Her mum and dad would be seeing Tuney on Christmas Day while Lily stayed over at the Potters until the end of the week.
Lily made sure to keep the ideas in mind while she baked, and she finished the waffles soon enough. She tasted one and found it wasn't nearly as good as Pandora's, but hey, you can't beat the Master in one year. Lily sat down at the team and started writing her letter while also munching on her breakfast.
Suddenly, Lily jumped as she heard a loud bang come from the window. And another. And another. Her first reaction was to grab her wand and hex the newest, moving object but then saw the owl at the window.
She sighed and shook her head as she let the poor thing in, finding some chicken and feeding the dear thing. She saw the parcel in its claws and took it, seeing it was a little box with a familiar large scrawl on it.
"TO: ᒪIᒪYᖴᒪOᗯᗴᖇ, ᖴᖇOᗰ: YOᑌᖇ ᒪITTᒪᗴ ᘜᖇᗴᗰᒪIᑎ, ᙭O᙭O᙭O᙭O"
Lily laughed, what a coincidence, she had just sent Iris to Elorie's the night before with a little parcel that had the same writing on it. Well, almost, hers said, "𝓣𝓸: 𝓜𝔂 𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓖𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓵𝓲𝓷, 𝓕𝓻𝓸𝓶: 𝓛𝓲𝓵𝔂𝓯𝓵𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻, 𝓧𝓞𝓧𝓞𝓧𝓞𝓧𝓞," in her much neater handwriting.
She quickly ripped the packaging off after letting the owl go back to where it came from. She opened the package to find a quaint goodie bag inside and a note.
"ᗪᗴᗩᖇ ᒪIᒪYᖴᒪOᗯᗴᖇ," she read out loud, "Tᕼᖇᗴᗴ ᗰOᖇᗴ ᗪᗩYᔕ ᑌᑎTIᒪ ᑕᕼᖇIᔕTᗰᗩᔕ ᗴᐯᗴ ᗩᑎᗪ ᗰOᖇᗴ IᗰᑭOᖇTᗩᑎTᒪY, Tᕼᖇᗴᗴ ᗰOᖇᗴ ᗪᗩYᔕ ᑌᑎTIᒪ I ᑕᗩᑎ ᔕᗴᗴ YOᑌ! "Oh I think we do," Lily's mum said and Lily jumped as she held the letter close to her chest. Lily's mum just chuckled softly, "I'm just getting water and going back to bed for a bit, you were always such an early riser sweetie," Lily's mum said as she got a cup to drink out of, "But Elorie sounds so sweet, and you speak highly on her, you used to not." Lily's mum took a sip of water, "Are these Belgium waffles?" She asked as she pointed to the stack of waffles Lily made.
"Oh, yeah, Pandora taught me how to make them last year," Lily said while her mother took a waffle and took a bite out of it. Lily smiled with pride when her mother smiled at the taste.
"Remind me to thank the sweetheart when we go there in three days," Lily's, mum said before going back to bed, taking the waffle with her.
Lily sighed as she undid the ribbon on the goodie bag, she opened it to find earmuffs, and the bag filled to the brim with fancy-looking wrapped chocolates. Lily smiled as she tipped the bag upside down to empty the contents and saw a little guide. She read it and saw it was just what colour wrappers meant which kind of chocolate the chocolates were. Lily then found the pretty gold earmuffs and read the tag, they were noise cancelling. Lily just shook her head as she put them on, she'd definitely remember to pack them when she went to the Potters.
"Thank you Eloire," Lily said to no one in particular, and nearly jumped for joy when she couldn't hear her voice.

Elorie was still very much dead asleep in bed while Lily was, already off doing her Lily-like things. Eloire was sleeping in quite the awkward position which would probably make her neck hate her for an hour or so, but, hey, the things she sacrificed for comfort.
Elorie had stayed up until two in the morning binging Christmas shows with loads of popcorn with her brother, which meant she was sleeping in until at the very least eleven. Elorie woke up to the sound of feet walking around at her door. Eloire yawned and stretched, causing her lizard jammies to ride up her back.
Elorie shuffled her way to Jayden and played with her a bit before heading out to the kitchen for some much-needed lunch. She smelled warm ham sandwiches and her mouth drooled as she practically floated to the kitchen.
"Look who decided to wake up today," Elorie's dad teased before going back to watching sports. Eloire just yawned before grabbing a sandwich and inhaling it.
"Do you even chew?" Henry, Elorie's little brother, asked as he munched on his own sandwich.
"Chewing is for the weak," Eloire said, and her mum laughed.
"Alright, but this came in the mail for you," Elorie's mum said as she handed a parcel to Eloire, who took it happily.
Eloire shoved another sandwich in her mouth and took the parcel, practically sprinting to her room. She shut the door behind her to ensure that no intruders (Henry) popped in before plopping in her bed and opening the parcel, chewing on her sandwich.
Eloire forgot to read who it was from, but found the letter and recognized the lovely script, "𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓔𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓮, 𝓜𝔂 𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓖𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓵𝓲𝓷," she read in her head, she knew better than to read aloud where prying little brothers could listen, "𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮? 𝓘 𝓱𝓸𝓹𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾'𝓻𝓮 𝓭𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓫𝓻𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓵𝔂! 𝓘 𝓱𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓬𝓪𝓷'𝓽 𝔀𝓪𝓲𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓮𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾, 𝓸𝓷𝓵𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓭𝓪𝔂𝓼! 𝓣𝓱𝓻𝓮𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼. 𝓘 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓼𝓸 𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓶𝓾𝓬𝓱 𝓔𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓮, 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝔂𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰. 𝓘'𝓵𝓵 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓵 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓮𝓷𝓭 𝓸𝓯 𝔀𝓸𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓭. 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓛𝓲𝓵𝔂𝓯𝓵𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻, 𝓛𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝓔𝓿𝓪𝓷𝓼."
Elorie finished her sandwich with a smile, "Love ya too Lils," Elorie said before going to the goodie bag. What a coincidence, she sent one too. Eloire just filled the top open and dunked the contents onto her bed.
The first thing she saw was the buttload of holographic sparkles, how lovely! Next, she found a glitter bath bomb that was supposed to smell like lilies, she'd have to try that later. She found a cute Gryffindor Santa hat and assorted candies ranging from chocolate to sweet tea gummies, to candy canes, to candy corn, there was it all. Obviously, they were in tiny bags of their own because there were sparkles in the bag.
Eloire grinned she knew good and well that the candies and bath bomb would be gone by the end of the day. But she was totally going to bring the Santa hat to the Potters, speaking of which, she'd better get packing.
Eloire scrambled out of bed after popping a sweet tea gummy in her mouth. She got out two duffle bags, one for clothes and the other for everything else. She made sure to pack fashionable outfits and stuff that would make any uncultured person waking by her to look at her with distaste. All those who had a sense of style would congratulate her though. Eloire grinned as she put the hat on with the clothes. She sure as hell was going to wear that all the time
Question For Your OC and Technically You in a Way: What do you think their role is in the whole Dark Ones thing? Are they the one who discovers the weakness? Are they one of the fighters? Are they the person who distracts the Dark Ones? Are they the one who holds a weapon powerful enough to stop the Dark Ones? Just tell me your prefernce and I'll try to include it!
Hel, well, she's a fighter and the one who tries to figure out as much as possible. She has an advantage seeing as she's a goddess and has those kinds of connections.
