December Special Seventeen: Dyed Hair
A/N Hullo my fantastic Greekies! How are you? I hope you're doing brilliantly! So yesterday, I watched a few Deadly Class clips to figure out who the heck Benjamin Wadsworth played, and um, let's just say ... Jamie, honey, can I have your boyfriend? 😂I am officially in love with both Marcus Lopez and Benjamin Wadsworth. (Also his voice is deeper than I imagined, what?) James, you lucky man, be happy you have Dec.

Regulus took a deep intake of breath as he rolled over in his bed, he was just about to fall asleep, and Miranda was on her bed that night. He had decided to read her Romeo and Juliet before they fell asleep, but, Miranda had fallen asleep in his arms about three-fourths of the way into the play. Regulus has gently tucked Miranda in before going to his own bed, he pulled the covers so that he practically covered his face and tried to fall asleep. It was already midnight, and he was only a little tired. He managed to fall asleep but swore he heard snickering coming from the door.
...
Regulus woke up by Miranda shaking him awake quite aggressively. His eyes flashed open as he leapt for his wand. Regulus yelled out something incoherent and looked around, waiting to see the danger. He didn't see anything and groggily rubbed his eyes, which were already starting to feel heavy again.
"Andie, baby, it's not even light out," Regulus said with a yawn as he gently set his wand back on his nightstand, "And it's a weekend," he added before finding his way back under the covers.
"No, Reggie, you have to see this, it's very important," Miranda hissed urgently, and Regulus just popped his head up from under the covers. Regulus looked and saw that Miranda didn't have her beautiful blonde hair or even white blonde, it was very dark, even Regulus could tell that despite the darkness of the room.
"Why is your hair?" He muttered as he weakly pointed at Miranda's hair and she took a deep breath as she looked at his hair. She dragged him out of bed and went to the bathroom.
Regulus held in a silent scream as he looked at his hair, it was a bright blue with clear green undertones. His eyes were wider than Miranda's, and that was saying something. He leaned forward, close to the mirror and looked at his hair, it was completely blue, even the roots.
Regulus then looked over in the mirror to see a distraught looking Miranda with brown hair and very bad looking red highlights, Regulus still thought she looked stunning though. Regulus knew she had dyed her hair brown once back in maybe fourth year, but her hair had grown out, now it seemed to be brown again.
"You still look gorgeous, baby," Regulus said smiling as he trucked a lock of straightened hair from out of Miranda's face.
"I know, but still! These highlights are horrible! Mum won't be pleased," Miranda said as she played with her hair. Regulus did the same as he looked in the mirror.
He wouldn't admit it to anyone other than himself and maybe Miranda, but he quite loved his blue hair, he thought it was stunning and suited him in a way. Regulus grinned as he ran his fingers through his hair, sure his mum would probably crucio him if she ever found out (she had crucioed Sirius when he refused to cut his hair after it grew past his ears, Regulus emended he was holding back tears), but at least it looked quite nice now.
"I quite like my hair," Regulus said smiling at Miranda, "I think it suits me."
Miranda scoffed, smiling, "Reggie, anything suits you," she said but then got a worried look on her face, "But if our parents ever found out they'd crucio us."
"Or kill us," Regulus suggested. His mum had threatened to kill Sirius once or twice he was sure of it.
"Crucio then kill," Miranda compromised, then she got an angry look on her face that made Regulus back away just tad, "Now, I'm going to find out who did this, and ruin their social life," Miranda threatened, and Regulus remembered snickering he heard the previous night after she'd gone to bed.
Regulus rubbed the back of his neck lightly, "So, you see, I think I might know who it is," he said, and Miranda looked at him innocently, twirling a makeup brush in her hand, Regulus hadn't a clue how a simple makeup brush could look so threatening, "But you have to promise not to ruin their life."
"I never said their life," Miranda said, "I just said their social life." Regulus gave her a look.
"I think it was Sirius and the Marauders," Regulus said. He should've recognized the snickering last night and kept one eye open in his sleep.
Miranda scoffed, twirling her makeup brush faster and Regulus made a point to keep away from the spinning thingy. Miranda sucked in her teeth and Regulus was a bit scared of what she might do, so he decided to go with the default and do something Miranda liked.
Regulus grabbed Miranda's waist gently and tilted her chin up, pulling her in a soft and quaint kiss. Regulus gently ran his fingers through Miranda's new hair and he felt Miranda's fingers in his.
"Don't kill Sirius," Regulus said.
"No promises," Miranda replied.

Miranda walked gracefully down the stairs, her chin held high up and a bitchy smile on her face, though, in her mind, she was storming down the stairs in a mad fury.
"Sirius Orion Black," Miranda said in a deathly calm voice as she scanned the room for Sirius. Lucky for her, Sirius and his little crew were all sitting by the fire.
Sirius whipped his head around and sniggered when he saw Miranda, "Enjoying the new do, Clark?" He asked tauntingly.
"I'll do you something," she said threateningly before she felt a hand on her shoulder, she just grit her teeth as she felt Regulus try to calm her down just a bit.
Miranda got a title bit of satisfaction though when she saw how surprised Sirius looked at Regulus. What? Did he not expect his brother to rock the hair colour he gave him?
"Why?" Miranda asked and she crossed her arms across her chest, making sure to flaunt the jewels hanging from her throat. She heard a bit of squeaking coming from behind her and saw a very happy Maalyn eating a chicken sandwich.
Maelyn smiled with a mouth full of food and waved down, disgusting Miranda as she looked back over to Sirius, perhaps her future brother in law -- he would be an annoying one.
"We got bored," Sirius said tauntingly, and Miranda looked over to where Declan was staring at her with a face that said, 'Look, I tried,' and Remus was looking at her a little sympathetically as well. "And if you were wondering, it was Remus who taught me the spell!" Sirius said as he pointed over to Remus accusingly.
"I taught you the basic spell three years ago, don't put the blame on me," Remus said holding his hands up.
Miranda pursed her lips and looked up to where Maelyn was snickering at her. If Miranda could she'd scream in her face, but, of course, that'd ruin her reputation very much. But judging on Maelyn's chicken-filled smile, she decided she was probably a part of the little scheme.
"And Maelyn," Miranda seethed, "Did you have anything to do with this?"
Maelyn wiped her mouth with her sleeve, nearly making Miranda gag, she just scrunched up her nose as if someone had shoved a slimy frog in her face.
"Yup," Maelyn said as pulled out her wand, "You want help with taking care of your hair? I've tons of tips if you'd bother listening," she said and Miranda just sneered.
"No," she said before heading back up the steps, Regulus following her, when they got back up she fell into her bed with a hand on her forehead. Regulus just smiled and sat next to her. "Our parents are going to kill us you know?" she stated as she rolled over and leaned on her hands.
Regulus just shrugged, "We can always get it dyed back, I like my hair though, I'll just dye it back to black at the end of the day," he said as he ran his fingers through his hair.
Miranda smiled up at Regulus, "At least you look cute," she said as she sat up to press a kiss to his cheek.
Regulus just smiled and pressed a kiss to Miranda's forehead, "You do too."

'I thought we just made her hair brown?' Maelyn thought to herself as she finished her chicken sandwich up, she licked her fingers clean before sitting up on the chandelier so she didn't throw up.
Yesterday night, everyone was bored and no one could fall asleep, so they decided it'd be a fun idea to prank the resident rich bitch and her boyfriend. Maelyn had come up with the idea of the hair dye and helped perfect the original spell Remus created back in the fourth year. She was very proud of the fact that she experimented with hair spells because she got bored with her hair a ton.
Of course, Declan and Remus tried to talk them out of it. But hey, when they got bored they got bored, nothing they could do about it.
Maelyn just swung form her chandelier happily as she watched everybody talking below, she had a feeling today was going to be a great day.
