December Special Eleven: Baby Names
A/N: Nothing much to say, but this chapter is 1.4k words and it's very fluffy!
The aesthetic above was created by RobinHood37 and it's Pandora's amortentia! It's beautiful!
Also, here are some more photos of my Uncle's dog to make up for the wait!

It was midnight, and most people had already excused themselves to bed. There was school the next day, after all, wouldn't want to be late to class, but Remus and Pandora were both still awake, cuddling by the fire.
Pandora wore yet another one of Remus' jumpers, and Remus was just wearing a comfy PJ shirt while they were both under the warm, surprisingly thick crocheted blanket made by Mrs. Potter in Gryffindor colours. Remus had an oversized mug of hot cocoa beside him and was occasionally taking a sip of that and Pandora had a matching one on the other side of her. They were just cuddling and enjoying the other's company while they took their minds off the bloodthirsty demons lurking just within grounds and could probably come to devour them at any moment.
Remus pressed a kiss to Pandora's head, he had wrapped an arm around her earlier, and she snuggled closer to him. He loved the feeling of Pandora in his arms and happy, it was one of the best feelings in the world in his opinion.
"You know we're soulmates," Pandora said in a matter of faculty tone and Remus couldn't help but laugh.
"Yes we are Panda, yes we are. And we've known officially for three months, but I just always knew," Remus said with a goofy smile on his face, gently turning Pandora's chin up and pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
"I love you so much, Remus Lupin," Pandora said, with a smile after they broke away.
Remus smiled back and cupped Pandora's cheek, "I love you too, Pandora Potter," and no truer words could've come out of his mouth but those. He resisted the urge to add in a "future Lupin," to the end of his sentence, but he didn't want to ruin the surprise. He hoped Hel still had the ring hidden away in a shadow somewhere (she had only told Lily the exact location, and Remus clueless so that Pandora couldn't possibly have found it), he wanted it to be the perfect surprise, and hopefully one of the best days in Pandora's life. Hopefully.
Remus watched as the flames flickered off from Pandora's eyes and made them a brilliant colour he couldn't even begin to describe in beauty, he sure did score lucky when Pandora fell for him. He was positive it was the other way around though, or maybe it was both, he didn't know.
"You know, do you want kids?" Pandora asked, looking over to Remus with an inquisitive look on her face.
"I- what?" Remus asked.
𝕻𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖔𝖗𝖆'𝖘 𝕻𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖁𝖎𝖊𝖜:
"You know, do you want kids?" Pandora asked, breaking her gaze away and over to Remus, who had been previously staring at her.
"I- what?" Remus asked, getting a nervous smile on his face and Pandora chucked, she was sure Remus heard her perfectly fine, he just wanted confirmation of what she said.
"I said, do you want kids? You know, someday, if we're even able to," Pandora says, looking over to Remus.
The flames reflected off of Remus' honey-coloured eyes, making a colour Pandora couldn't hope to replicate with any art material, maybe some honey and other ingredients would get close to the colour, but nothing would be the perfect colour that was Remus' eyes as he was looking into the fire. His eyes alone had always mesmerized Pandora, and it was probably her most favourite physical feature of him
"I mean, yes, only if you want them of course," Remus said, gently rubbing Pandora's arm, "But, I don't really know, what if they get lycanthropy from me? Or if I hurt them? What if they're ashamed --"
Pandora pressed a kiss to Remus' lips to shut him up, "Remus, love, you know lycanthropy is hereditary, and I know you would never hurt them, no matter what. And why would they be ashamed? That's utterly impossible, you know you're a great man, a good one."
Remus blushed and Pandora smiled, "then yes, maybe, I would want kids, only if you do."
"I would," Pandora said with a smile, just imagining a little Remus or a little her running around in their home one day, maybe they would share one with the rest of the Marauders until everything was good and happy and most importantly safe. Maybe their kids wouldn't look like them at all, maybe they would look like some distant family member and have blonde hair and green eyes or something, who knows, Pandora wouldn't mind. She just wanted a little one to call her own with Remus, or little ones, plural.
"Would you want more than one?" Pandora asked, "Kids I mean."
Remus chuckled, "It's up to you, you're the one going to carry them in your stomach for nine months."
Pandora scrunched up your nose, "You're right, I guess, But you're the father, it takes two to make a baby."
Then Pandora had a thought, she and James were twins, right? What if she and Remus had twins, would that be double the fun? Or double the pain? Or maybe double everything if she was thinking about it right.
"Hey, what if we had twins?" Remus asked, apparently thinking the same thing as Pandora, "Twin boys would be so much fun, teaching them to dismantle the patriarchy one step at a time and no one would think less because they're men."
Pandora just laughed, "I think you've just described James and Sirius, Remy," she said.
Remus laughed along with her, was she wrong? Twin boys who were trying to dismantle the patriarchy with long speeches on top of the tables in the Great Hall while the teachers looked absolutely exasperated by the duo but secretly pleased. Pandora could relate, that's how she felt on the daily with the two.
"Or maybe a boy and a girl. You know, so it's fair and we get a view from both worlds, and like James and me," Pandora said, and Remus smiled.
"That would be adorable, I already know you'd be an excellent mother."
Pandora looked over to Remus, adjusting herself in the blanket a little bit, "How do you know?" She asked.
"Well, you take care of five children daily, about three friends who you treat like a sister, and one goddess who's extremely protective of you, but I'm sure you're protective back. You've been taking care of one the children your whole life, no matter how many stupid situations he can get himself into, and the rest for about seven years, I think you'll be an excellent mother, you have loads of experience," Remus explained, and Pandora couldn't help but agree, she did have lots of experience with small children (or at least teenagers and adults who act like small children).
Pandora's eyes then widened as she gently pushed herself off of Remus' chest, "What would we name them?" She asked, then Remus got that thinking look in his face.
"Well, I think Teddy's a cute name," Remus said, and Pandora thought about it for a moment.
"I mean, it's an adorable name, but it sounds more like a nickname," she said, "what would it be short for?"
"Uh, I have no clue," Remus said then chuckled, "Alright, what are some other names?"
"Harry?" Pandora said, and Remus scrunched up his face.
"I dunno, doesn't sound right for our kid, what about a girl name, Daisy?" He offered.
"Nah, I think Lily wants all the flower names," Pandora joked.
Pandora slowly leaned back down on Remus' chest as she thought. They did have a whole, Roman mythology vibe didn't they? Pandora the myth, and Remus one of the founders of Rome, granted, his brother killed him, but Pandora didn't like to think about that bit. Maybe a Roman god? That would be fun, Hel would probably go overboard and have the kiddos meet the god, but still, it would be so cute.
"What about a Roman Myth name?" Pandora suggested, "You know because-"
"- Your name is Pandora and mine is Remus," Remus said then smiled, "That's sweet! What if they're twins."
Pandora and Remus Looked at each other and thought the same thing, who were the most popular twins of Roman Mythology, and Greek Mythology for that matter.
"Diana and Apollo," they said at the same time then laughed.
"Yeah, that would be adorable, a little Diana Pandora Lupin, and Apollo Remus Lupin, that's so sweet," Pandora said, then checked the time, "it's getting late, we should head to bed."
Remus looked at his watch and agreed, "Yeah, cmon," he said, then swept Pandora off her feet, literally.
Pandora squealed a little in surprise before wrapping her arms around Remus' neck, "I love you, Remy," she whispered before kissing him.
"I love you too Pandora," Remus whispered back, their foreheads pressed together after they broke away from their kiss.
Question For Your OC: How would their parents react to them bringing home their soulmate for the first time?
Well, technically Hels brought Sirius to Asgard about twice now, once in, like, fifth or fourth I think, and the other in sixth. Everyone in the golden palace (other than Odin) adores Sirius though, even though Loki did tease Hel about it for a bit the first time she brought Sirius home, it's been good. Now that Loki, Sigyn, Frigga, Narfi and Vali know that Sirius and Hel are soulmates, they're probably just going to tease the two a bunch and help them get some alone time in the palace and make sure Hel's relieved of all princess duties and such. On the other end though, Hel has had the unfortune of meeting Sirius' parents once, asking to have Sirius go to Asgard. Honestly, Hel's pretty sure that the Blacks hate her since she brings happiness in Sirius' life, but she is a death goddess, so it isn't like they can disrespect her or anything. Sirius has never formally introduced Hel to his old family the way Hels introduced Sirius to hers, and Hel's absolutely fine with that. She's formed her opinion of Walbruga, and it's horrible.
Question For You: What fictional place would you want to go to the most?
Hogwarts! For sure! I've never been, but it's the place I feel most at home if that makes sense.
