At the Police Station

Shraddha's POV:

I still had no idea why we were taken to the station. I couldn't even ask Sid anything because of all the Police there were, but I knew that Sid knows why. If only I had answered that door...

We were still waiting outside, we weren't allowed in for some reason.

I was being really impatient at the moment. I had no idea why we were here, what Sid was talking about or anything. I had too many questions to ask right now.

As the Police all went to the Commissioner inside, me and Sid was alone, waiting outside.

Yes, finally now I can ask Sid why we were here and why they called us and stuff.

"Sid what is going on!?" "Why are we here!?" "What did we do wrong!?" "Tell me, I really wanna know!!" I said as I hesitated.

"Shraddha calm down!, I'll tell you!" "You know like how your husband erm... Varun, I think... Yeah well you know like he was treating you terrible... That's wat it's for."

"But why are we here!! So what do we have to do."

"Well, they just need to get some proof so they know that I'm not lying, and then he'll be behind the bars!"

"But... Well.. It wasn't exactly Varun's fault.."

"What do you mean??"

"Well.... his.. last love was your.... wife"

"My, my wife... What do you mean?? What are you talking about?"

"Well, before I married Varun, his girlfriend was Alia. Then she dumped him for you."

"Oh, I had no idea... I moved onto her street and that's how we met, she never even mentioned Varun to me."

"Well you lied to me, so I still hate you for that!!"

"Shraddha.. look..."

"No, don't talk to me...."

"But..."
I covered my hand over his mouth.

My eyes were becoming watery again. I just couldn't put my memory behind me like that. He had done something terrible to me.

Every time I think about that day, the day he lied to me, saying that his mum had fixed him up with Alia. I just hated that feeling. Everything I had, is now lost.

I moved aside, away from Sid. I don't need a boy in my life, no Varun no Siddharth.

I can just be a girl who lives by herself without a husband or a child except from my parents.

It had been ages since I had seen them, they live quite far from us now, about 4 hour drive. Even though I hated long car rides, I wanted to see them badly.

I heard big footsteps coming towards us. I turned around and saw the Commissioner, well he had a badge saying that so yeah, he most likely is one.

"Please follow me to my Office!"

Wow! His voice gave me shivers it was so loud and deep like a bull or something.

I looked at Sid as he glanced back at me. I then looked away, and we both stood up and followed the Commissioner.

Hey guys! I'm sorry to say but this is my last update until November, I am going holiday to another country 2 days later (this friday) therefore I won't have time to update. But I will try updating on November 3rd or 4th idk so I won't be on wattpad at all until then. Bye!
