1 month later

Shraddha's POV:

I watched Varun through the corner of my eye. He had his third bottle of alcohol and was gulping it down.

That's it!! I've had enough! I walk up to him and grab the bottle out if his hands. I am his wife, he can't just treat me like that!!

"Varun!! Please calm down!!" I say in between tears.
He stood up and pinned me against the wall, his breath and mine mingling. "Leave. Me. Alone!!" His touch alone gave me the shivers and I stood there in shock.

He still loves Alia...
He still loves Alia...

"Why did you agree to marry me although you were recovering from your last love??!!" I yell still crying.

"I..I don't know!"he loosened his grip on me and grabbed another bottle.

I ran up to "our room" I couldn't tell him I was pregnant.. Not yet...

I decided I needed to rest and hope that this was all a nightmare and wake up to my previous life.. Before Varun before Siddharth. I would have wanted a guy like Siddharth to comfort me I really wasn't feeling well.

I couldn't believe this was happening. Why God? Why? Please make Varun stop. Why can't everything go back to normal before he saw Alia at the hospital. He started doing this ever since he saw Alia. Why did she have to come? Now he's just a drunkard that is unstoppable.

But I have got to tell Varun, its his baby as well! What should I do?? I have to practice aswell! Ugh!! How is he going to react. Okay I need to practice first. Okay who should I say it to...
I quickly got out my diary and checked to see if I could find anyone. The only one that I could probably reach was Siddharth...
I wasn't sure, but it was worth a try...

"Ring Ring!! Ring Ring!!"
I waited until someone picked up.
"Hello?"said a girl, it sounded like Alia, Siddharth's wife.
"Hello, who is this?" She said.
"Umm..can you give the phone to Siddharth please." I said.
"Yeah, but who are you?"
"I'm Shraddha..."
"Okay, I'll give it to him now."
"Thanks!"

Siddharth's POV:

I saw Alia running towards me.
"This shraddha girl's calling you."

Shraddha?? Why is she calling me?? Its been around 3 months, why is she calling now?

"Um...just say I'm not here.."
"Why, who is she??" Alia asks.
"Just say I'm not here!!" I yell.
"Fine!"
Alia marches out of the room. Why would Shraddha be calling, what if it's important...

I go outside my room and try to listen to what they're saying.

"He's not here!"
"I know he is, I heard youse talking."
"Well, he doesn't wanna talk to you okay.."
"It's dead important...it'll just be a sec."
"Ugh, fine!!"

Alia comes out of the room and I pretend as if I wasn't listening.

"Were you listening to our conversation??"
"Oh..um..no! Just err..wanted to ask you...soment!" I stutter thinking what to say.
"Yeah yeah well this girl just wouldn't hang up, just talk to her."

She hands me the phone and rushes downstairs.
I know its been a few months and Alia is now pregnant aswell but.. Ugh idk let's just see what she wants to say.

"Hi" I said.
"Hi" she answered.
"Siddharth..I..I...gotta tell..you something..." She mumbled through her words.
"Yeah sure, what is it?"
"Well...I'm err...pregnant...."
"Oh..congrats..."
"Varun doesn't know yet...I just wanted to practice on a guy"
"Oh.. How...."

Shraddha's POV:

Before Siddhath could finish off what he was saying Varun stormed into my room and smacked the phone out right out of my hands which made it go flying.

"Varun??" I was going to tell him but he just came barging in.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!!"
"Yeah, I was..."

Before I could finish off he grabbed my neck and started strangling me.
"Vv-ar--"

I tried to grab a vase that was on the table beside me. I quickly got it out and hit Varun with it. Blood was leaking out of his head but I ran for my life. How did Varun turn out like this?

I ran to my room door but it wouldn't open. Shit! Varun must have locked it when he came in. He was about to get up but stumbled again.

I was petrified and devasted with everything that was going on rigjt now.What am I going to do!!!

I looked around and the only way out was....the window....

Varun was getting up, I looked outside the window it wasn't far from the ground but.... Why did this happen??? WHYYYY!! WHAT DID I DO WRONG!! GOD WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUNISH ME LIKE THIS!!
I saw Varun getting up.

Come on Shraddha you'll be fine.. I shivered with fear and closed my eyes...
