You lead the group of travelers to the village, your destination being the elders hut of course.
"This village looks so peaceful." The girl commented.

"Why yes, it has been hidden for many years." You said.

"Speaking of that, why is it hidden?" The gruff male voice asked.

"Many reasons, invasions, the beasts that reside in the forest." You said counting the reasons on your fingers. You enjoyed having conversations with these people, plus talking more face off more sound waves for you to see. Also you just a naturally talkative person.

"Oh! I never even told you my name, how rude of me." You said and stopped suddenly.
"My name is (Y/n) (L/n)." You said bowing.

"My name is Yona." The girl said sweetly.

"Hak." He sounded really disinterested and you could hear soft scolding from the girl.

"I'm Kija nice to meet you." He sounded really calm.

"I'm Zeno!" A hyperactive voice said.

"I'm Yun." You heard the child say. You slightly tapped your staff on the ground and saw one other figure.

"Um-"

"OI IDIOT STOP FLIRTING AND GET OVER HERE!" You heard Hak yell. Through the shuffling of feet you heard and felt another presence near you. All of a sudden two fingers lifted your chin slightly and you assumed that your face had been angled.

"My name is Jae-ha sweetheart." The man said in a flirty voice. You heard a loud smack and a pained yelp from Jae-ha. You blinked assuming he got hit by someone. You let the matter go, and waited for the last person to introduce himself. He seemed really quiet and aloof but you waited patiently.

"I'm sorry, Shin-ah's kind of distant when it comes to new people." Yona said apologetically. You shook your head dismissing her comment.

"It's fine, if he's not comfortable I'm not going to force him. Now where have you all come from if I may ask?"

"Uh, we're nomads...kind of." Kija said sounding nervous a bit.

"Oh? Well nomads are always welcome here. Now come I shall guide you to the elder's hut." You said as you started walking again.

"Ah, thank you very much." The girl said gratefully. You once again heard the shuffling of their feet. You tapped your staff lightly as you guided them to the hut using your echolocation and your memory. You lightly hummed a tune as the group went into aimless prattle, but you couldn't help but feel eyes on you again.

"Miss (L/n)." It was Zeno who was skipping right next to you.

"Hm?"

"Are you blind?" He asked out of the blue luckily the others were too preoccupied to hear, or so you thought. You were caught off guard, but kept a smile on your face.

"Uh, why yes. How'd you notice?"

"You never open your eyes and you keep tapping your staff on the ground. Plus you don't seem to turn your head in the right direction sometimes." He said. You were shocked at how he caught on so quickly.

"W-Wow Zeno, how'd you-?"

"It's just my natural observing skills I guess!" He exclaimed sticking his tongue out playfully. You chuckled and faced straight forward as you all reached the hut.

"Village Elder is in here, he should be able to help all of you." You said as you walked in.

"Elder Eun (pronounced ee-uhn) Soo. We have visitors." You said bowing your head.

"Visitors, now that's quite rare." A small man who looked the age of 80, faced then kneeling on a mat. Yona made her way in first bowing slightly.

"Hello, my name is Yona."

"Ah, the young princess I assume?" The elder asked shocking everyone, even you.

"E-Eh?! How did you-?!"

"How do you know that old man?" Hak growled out his question while Yona scolded him once again.

"Hak!"

The elder just chuckled amused.

"I know quite a lot at my day and age. Plus I have been keeping up with our neighbors at the Water Tribe who have close contact with the palace. It is quite an honor to have you in my presence." Eun Soo bowed his head deeply.

"O-Oh no need to bow." Yona said sheepishly.

"So are you affiliated with the new Emperor?" Hak asked and you could hear a little disgusted tone in his voice.

"I have no intentions with associating my village with the new emperor. I felt the change in rule a little too...fast pace, and I knew something is off." The elder said honestly.

"Yes that is true." Yona said.

You had felt the same way as soon as you had heard the news of the new emperor Soo-Won take the throne. Although you didn't know that Yona was the princess up until now, and you started to feel a little pity for her considering that she was so far from her palace. You could only assumed she was banished.

"But believe me when I say that I wish to take back my kingdom, and I wish to provide the best for my people." Yona said. You could practically feel the determination radiating off of her, and to be honest you felt admiration.

"And I was hoping you would Princess. My village and I lend you support." The elder said bowing once more.

Yona returned his bow, "Thank you."

"Now I think it would be best for you all the rest here. Nightfall is upon us, (Y/n)." The elder called you making you stand up straight.

"You remember where the spare huts are?"

"Yes elder."

"Can you lead them there?"

"Of course!"

"Follow me please!" You exclaimed happily. You walked out of the elder's hut to the northeast part of the village. As you were walking you could hear the increasing silence.

'Huh, I didn't realize how late it was you thought.' You thought. A few minutes after you had arrived at the huts, you could tell because of the picture painted in your mind.

"Here we are!" You exclaimed.

"Thanks a lot sweetheart." You heard Jae ha talk with the flirty tone again; he also winked at you, but you couldn't see. You only sweatdropped in response.

"You're welcome." You said giving a nervous chuckle.

You turned away and started walking to your own hut, but you could still overhear the group.

"It's best to just spend one night and keep moving." Hak said.

"Ah Hak always trying to hurry along. Why not spend a little time here? I mean it is a HIDDEN village." Kija argued. Hak popped a vein and looked at him slightly angered and annoyed. Yona calmly pushed in between them giving them a good scolding while you could hear Yun scoff and mumble something about them being 'idiots.' You smiled at the group's closeness and somewhat friendly atmosphere they had. It was something you wished you could be a part of, but unfortunately your eyes and ties to the village prevented that.

'I wonder what it's like to have very close people like that? Or to travel? Probably a useless wish since I can't see.' You thought and a growing sadness overcame you.

Your thoughts had distracted you from your surroundings as well as using your staff, and you felt yourself tip over slightly. Suddenly another hand gripped your shoulder gently to steady you. As quick as they appeared you felt the hand let go of you. You tapped your staff on the ground quickly, but no figure appeared.

'Huh I could've sworn...oh well. Thank you whoever you are.' You thought. You decided to have a little walk before you went to bed, it couldn't hurt right? You had taken little walks like these to get bearings of your location, and there was one place you would always return to. A little creek near the entrance of the forest, something always seemed calming and tranquil to you. It was probably the sound of the running water followed by the wind, and little animals.

The sound of running water got louder as you got closer. Everything was dark blending with the night sky, and many of the daytime creatures asleep. The moon and stars reflected in the creek making it shine, oh how you wished you could see it. You sat down breathing in the fresh air, it made you wonder if the rest of the world was like this.

'With so much I'm hearing about happening at the palace, and the constant guards coming here, probably not.' You thought.

You ran your hand through the creek feeling the smooth texture of water. You loved the feeling, when you came to the village you had escaped here, and the water was a therapy for you. You had more appreciation for it with your blindness. You sat down on the grass placing your chin on your folded knees, letting your thoughts run. A little squeak, however, caught your attention. You blinked turning your head in different directions, and once again heard the squeak. It sounded louder and...right next to you.

You craned your head down slightly and reached out a hesitant hand. Your palm came in contact with something furry, and another squeak resonated in your ears.

You smiled slightly, "Hello little guy, quite late of you to be up." You said gently.

"His...name is Ao." You heard a male voice say and you jumped in slight shock snapping your head in the direction.

"W-Who-"

"I'm...Shin ah, I came here with Princess Yona."
