Yaaaaaaay!

Vincent let out a sigh of relief. Their shift was finally over. He could go home and... well, what would he do? Would he crawl back under his covers, into the safe and comfortable fortress of fluffy down and crusty tissues? Would he sit at the table and eat toast and try to find the antidepressants he lost way too long ago? There wasn't much he could-

"Hey Vinny?"

Vincent smiled. He'd always loved that nickname, and he knew Scott did too.

"Yeah?"

"Would you, uh... I-I mean, if y-you don't have anything e-else to do... would you, maybe, like to... um... g-go out for dinner or something? T-today? Tonight?"

Vincent was a little shocked, though he attempted to keep it from showing on his face. Was Scott really asking him out on a date? He'd never actually known Scott was gay... he'd always thought Mahogany was his true love, but now...

"I'd love to." He said that before he was even done processing his thoughts, and he debated rather or not to take it back.

"That's great! I'll... I'll just pick you up at your place at eight, is that okay?"

"Y-yeah, yeah, that's fine, I can't wait..."

They both fumbled with their words a bit until they said an awkward farewell and went their separate ways.
