Kyanna's Point Of View:

I was with Sada, Camille and Ricky inside my house putting the finishing touches on McKenna's surprise party.

We are having this surprise party for McKenna, because she got a promotion at Chapkis Dance Studio. I remember her telling us a few days ago.

•Flashback To Monday, Fenuary 3rd, 2020•

I was doing the dishes when all of a sudden the door slammed closed making me jump in shock.

"Mom! Kyanna! Natasha!" McKenna calls out.

I drop the sponge, quickly dry my hands and run over to her.

"What's wrong?!" My mom yells as her and Natasha run downstairs.

"I did it, I finally did it!" McKenna says in excitment.

"You did it!" Natasha says excitedly but then makes a confused face. "Did........what exactly?" Natasha asks.

"The promotion, Melvin gave me a promotion! To head choreographer!" McKenna says in excitment.

"Oh my God!" I cheer and hug McKenna, and soon Natasha and mom join us.

McKenna hugs back tightly.

•Back To Present Day•

Right now, Ricky and I hung up the banner that said "Congratulations McKenna!!!"

Once it looked straight I nodded and both Ricky and I climbed down the ladders that we used to put that up.

I had Camille put the ladders back in the garage and I was talking to Sada in the kitchen.

"Have you talked to Angie at all? Is she coming?" I ask Sada.

I know, I know, why should I care if my ex - best friend is coming, but I still care about Angie a lot.

We have been best friends since I was two, and Angie was two, turning three.

So, of course I care about her, just, I don't know where we stand at this moment in time.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Sada grabs my arm and shakes it.

"K, did you hear anything I just said?" Sada asks.

"No, sorry Sada. What did you say?" I ask her.

"I said I talked to Angie the other day, and she said she would come, but for McKenna only." Sada tells me.

I nod understandingly at what she says, of course I am a little hurt that Angie wouldn't want to talk to me, but at the same, I should just give her more time to cool off.

Sada notices the hurt in my eyes and pulls me in for a tight hug.

I hugged her back instantly.

"Listen Kiki, if I know Angie like I think I do, this will all blow over soon enough, because Angie hates holding grudges. You and I both know that, and also, you two are best friends, sister soulmates, I know this will work out." Sada comforts me

I nod with a soft smile and then Sada and I continue to get the party set up.

•Time Skip To The Actual Party•

I was getting ready for the party and put on a pretty blue spaghetti strap dress with my white sneakers.

Once I was done, I decided to curl my hair and then I heard the party going on downstairs and I went down there say most of our friends and familes were already there.

I went over to Camille and Ricky, who were at the kitchen area getting soda's and red solo cups that we bought this morning.

"Hey guys." I say and smile.

"Hey! Your mom called the house, she should be home in about ten minutes." Camille says and Ricky nods and points to Camille after he puts the soda down and says "She's right."

I nod understandingly and then a few minutes later I see my mom pull up outside.

"They're here!" I call out and everyone gets down and I shut the lights off before getting down.

We wait a few minutes before I hear my mom open the door and walks in behind McKenna, because she is covering McKenna's eyes.

"Lights!" My mom calls out.

"Huh? What's going on?" McKenna asks our mom.

I turn the lights on and see my mom uncover McKenna's eyes.

"SURPRISE!" We all scream and McKenna looks around and smiles.

"Awe!! Thanks guys! This means so much to me!" McKenna says and smiles a wide and happy smile.

During the party I was dancing with Kaitlin.

She leans down to my ear and asks. "Why is Donald here?" She then points to Donald subtly.

I groan in annoyance and say "It's because his younger sisters danced for McKenna." I explain.

She nods understandingly and Lexi comes over to us which surprised me.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I ask shocked but happy.

"You're friend Sada invited me." She says.

"Awesome! I know we have texted a lot, but, I haven't seen you in a while. How are you?" I ask as her and I hug her.

"I've been good. You?" She asks and hugs back.

"I've been good too I -" I go to say, but a voice cuts me off.

"Hey princess, here's the water you asked for" Felissa tells me and then kisses my cheek.

"Th - Thanks babe." I say and blush while looking down.

"No problem princess." Felissa tells me and I look up at her and we kiss lovingly and softly.

When we pull away we just stare into each other's eyes.

I snap out of staring at Felissa when I hear an "Aweeeee!!" Come out of both Kaitlin and Lexi.

I giggle happily and playfully roll my eyes.

I introduced Felissa to Lexi, and they got along pretty well.

During a dance session with Lexi I saw her staring at something.

"What?" I ask her with a confused face.

"Who's that girl?" She asks me and I turn around to see Nicole.

"Her name is Nicole......but why you ask?" I ask teasingly.

"She's really pretty....like..... whoa...." Lexi says making me smile and clap.

"OMG yes!!" I say excitedly and clap more.

"I so ship it!!" I continue and smile.

"Okay cupid, but don't go tryna put us together now" Lexi says with a soft laugh.

I looked back over to Lexi and frowned when I saw Angie and Joey dancing.

I've been talking to Joey a lot, just to see how Angie was, and he said she was "okay" but that made me feel worse.

A little while later I needed to go upstairs.

I went upstairs to my bedroom, because I had a loose hair, and it was bothering me. Yes, I'm that kind of person.

I walked out my room and felt a hand get put on my chest.

I quickly pushed it off and looked up, seeing Donald.

"What the fuck do you want?" I ask and cross my arms.

"I think you should break up with that Fifi girl a-" He goes to say but I cut him off.

"First off her name is Felissa. Get it right..... Okay, now you can continue, but play your words safe."

I deadass wanted to kick him down the damn stairs.

"I think we were a better couple." Donald says.

"Are you dumb or dumb?" I ask him with a hand on my hip.

"I just know that -" Donald begins to say but then stops all of a sudden.

"That what? Donald, I don't have all night for you to think of a long word that's not in your vocabulary o -" I go to say but then Donald kisses me!

I struggle against him and keep trying to push him away but he grabs my face hard.

I roll my lips in so he couldn't kiss me and I keep trying to push him away.

"..... Kyanna.....?"

I hear a voice.

Donald drops me and smirks.

My head wips around and I see Felissa.

"Lissa......" I say and my heart breaks instantly.

I walk over to her and she backs away and puts her hand up "Just...... don't." She says sadly.

I saw her run downstairs and I instantly followed her.

"FELISSA!" I call out as she runs outside.

I heard someone follow us, but I was to busy worrying about Felissa to pay attention or care to look at who it was.

Felissa stopped at her car and looked for what I assumed was her keys.

"Felissa! Please don't leave! I swear on everything I love that I didn't cheat a-" I try to tell her but she puts her hand up.

"I can't believe that you did that to me.....to us." Felissa says with tears pooling down her cheeks.

"I didn't! Did you not see me pushing him away?!" I ask louder than I intended too.

"No - I - I saw you pull him closer. So don't give me that bs" Felissa says and cries into her hands.

I tried to hug her but she pushed me away.

"Felissa -" I try to say but she cuts me off, again.

I hate getting cut off, it's so infuriating.

"I just need some time, Kyanna. I think we moved to quick, we need a break." Felissa tells me.

She then gets in her car and I don't stop.

She quickly locks the door, so I knock on the window of the driver's side.

"Please Felissa! Just let me explain." I say as tears pool down my cheeks.

She rolls down her window and I thought she was gonna agree.

But then she says "Move back, I'm not trying to run over your feet." She says harshly.

I move back and she drives off.

I cry into my hands for a little before running inside and seeing Donald.

I go over to him and start punching, hitting and kicking him.

Well trying to, I felt someone pull me back.

"Nope!" I heard Joey say.

"LET ME AT HIM!! I WILL FUCK YOU UP Y -" I try to scream but Joey covers my mouth.

"Just relax Ky, relax, you're okay, I got you." He tells me.

I sob and get out of his grip and run upstairs.

I get into my bedroom and jump on .y bed and sob into my pillow.

I didn't even hear footsteps come upstairs, indicating that someone had followed me.

Then, there was a knock on the door.

"Kyanna?" I hear a very familiar voice ask.

I look over and see Angie.

"A - Angie?" I stutter out still in tears.

She quickly makes her way over to the bed and sits down.

I look at her confused.

"Kyanna, I know we are not on the best terms right now, but I am so sorry that happened with you and Felissa." She says.

"That was you who followed us?" I ask her.

She nods and says "Yeah, I saw Donald kiss and you resisted, and I was gonna tell her, but I didn't know if you would've wanted me to say anything, because you are mad at me..." Angie says.

I nod understandingly and look at her and give her a weak smile.

She smiles back and then rubs her arm and goes to leave.

"Ang?" I call out.

"Yeah?" She asks and turns back to me.

"I am so so sorry that you felt the way you did, I never met to basically exclude you from my life. I love you like a sister, you are basically another sister to me and I need you in my life. I'm sorry Angelina Jacobs." I tell her.

"Oh Ky...... I am so sorry too. I should've never snapped at you, I said a lot of stuff that I didn't mean that night. I just didn't want to be replaced by anyone or feel like I was being replaced. But, I should've known that I wasn't." Angie explains and we end up sitting next to each other on the bed.

"You Angelina Jacobs, are my best friend, my sister, my day one. You are irreplaceable." I tell her and put a hand on her knee and squeeze it reassuringly.

She look at me and I look at her and we both smile.

We get up and hug each other tightly.

"You are irreplaceable too." Angie tells me and I smile because of that and the hug.

"Are we good now?" I ask her.

"Of course we are." Angie says and we hug tighter.

I have mended one relationship and know another is broken. Yay....*note the sarcasm*

Angie pulls back and places her hand on my shoulders.

"I will help you get Felissa back." Angie tells me with a confident smile.

"Thank you" I say genuinely and smile appreciatively.

I got my best friend back, and she was going to help me get my girl back.

I knew I could always count on her.
