NIGHT

Pari free herself from kavitha's grip, steps down from her bad holds her doll from her leg and comes out from room dragging the doll behind her.she slowly walks toward swara's room rubbing her eyes, opens the door and shook swara with her little little hands.swara open her eyes slowly look at pari then jerked up.

"pari sweety! what are u doing here at this time?"swara asked in worried tone, switched on the lamp and looked at time.3:15.

"maasi i can't sleep."pari said with pouted face.swara made her sit on her lap.

"but u were sleeping when i came out from your room and where is kavitha maasi.she was sleeping with u?"swara asked.

"maasi you ask so many questions."pari said while hitting her head with palm in cute manner. swara smiled.

"i was sleeping but kavita maasi hugged me so tightly, like i am her teddy bear."pari said,sighing a little.swara giggled and kissed on her forehead.

"kavita disturbed my sweetheart sleep? i will take her class tomorrow.now what should we do to bring back your sleep?"she said while thinking for a second.pari also start thinking.

"idea if pari will drink chocolate milk and sleep with maasi then her sleep will cme back?"swara asked with raised eyebrows. pari's eyes sparkled and she nodded vigorously.swara got up,picked pari and put pari on her waist and they walk toward kitchen.swara made pari sit on counter chair,made choco milk quickly and gave it to pari.pari finished it quickly in no time.

"maasi u always make it so yammmi!"pari said while licking her lips.swara smiled after that pari sleep with swara in her room hugging her tightly.swara caressed her hair slowly.

swara was stared at peacefully sleeping pari.

FLASHBACK

swara was rushing toward hospital pari was in her lap looking at her worriedly and trying to understand what is happening and sunny were crying.

"dad!! why are you not telling anything.why are we going hospital?"

"swara...i will tell you everything later.let me drive."shekhar said

"no tell me now...i am not feeling good."swara said in stubborn voice.

"swara!!...ragini and laksah met with an accident and their condition is not good."shekhar said in helpless tone.

"what!..."swara said in shocked tone,feeling her arms an legs getting numb. she felt like someone snatched her soul.they reached hospital.swara  gave pari to shekhar and ran inside hospital.swara sat beside ragini and held her hand.ragini smiled weakly.

"di what happened....are you alright?"swara asked between sobs.

"swara...be stronge.after me u have to take care of dad,sunny and pari."ragini said in weak tone.

"SHUT UP! nothing will happen to you.you promised me,you will not leave me alone."swara shouted then started crying.

"your sister failed to fulfill her promise but please swara,promise me u will become a singer."ragini said in sad tone.swara shook her head in negative.

"you are not going anywhere.you can't leave me alone."swara started repeating herself.

"swara please promise me....i don't have time."ragini said as she started feeling difficult to breath.

"promise....."swara said with teary face.

"one more promise please.please take a good care of sunny and pari.give them mother's love.never let them feel my absence."

"i promise...i will take care of them."swara said while holding her hand with both hands.ragini smiled,moved her other hand to touch her face but it dropped in midway.

"ragini!....."swara yelled at topof her lungs.

"please wake up.you can't leave me alone.....doctor..doctor."swara said while shaking her.doctor came,made her step back.doctor checked ragini's vitals and declared that she is dead.swara covered her mouth and started crying with closed eyes .after sometime she came to know that.laksah also died after some time.

"they left together."shekhar said in disbelief.swara didn't respond she just went and hugged sunny and pari tightly.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"i hope ragini! i am fulfilling my one promise nicely but sorry i failed to be a singer.the day you left me, my passion of singing and becoming a star also left with you."swara said while looking at pari,several tears escaped from her eyes.she switched off the lamp and slept hugging pari.

MORNING

swara and kavita were in kitchen, preparing breakfast.when sanskar yelled from his room.

"swara..."

"what he want now."kavita said in annoyed tone.swara shrugged her shoulders and went to his room.
"yes sir."swara entered inside after knocking.sanskar showed her,his shirt button annoyingly which was broken.a corner of her lips lift up in a smile but she hide it quickly.

"i will give u another shirt and will sew this later."swara said,walking toward cupboard.

"no i want to wear this shirt sew it now."sanskar said in angry tone.swara get a little annoyed but said nothing. sanskar was angry with her because she didn't tell him anything about nightmare.

"give me shirt i will sew it in 2 minutes."

"i am getting late,i can't take it off, sew it as it is."sanskar said,looking at his wrist watch swara got tensed.his shirt buttons were open.

"such a shameless person! how can he ask me to sew it as it is...what am i? his wife?" swara thought in her mind then sighed heavily and went near him.she hesitated first, then threw every thought aside and started tucking the button. she stepped more close to him, in her unconscious.sanskar looked down at her and inhaled fragrance of her shampoo in his lungs.while tucking buttons,her hand touched his bare chest.sanskar feel like current passed through his body.

"uh..mm...sorry."swara said in whispered with fast beating heart.sanskar was mesmerized to see her so near to him.he never let any girl come near him this close.swara drew her face close to his chest to break the thread from her mouth.sanskar felt like his heart will come out at any min.

"sir it's done."swara said and left from their.sanskar was still standing their like a statue.they did breakfast and kavita left after that.swara also locked the door and went toward main door for taxi.sanskar stopped car in front of her with full speed.swara stepped back a little.

"get in the car"sanskar said in nonchalant tone.

"sir i will go myself."swara refused politely.

sanskar looked at her annoyingly then drove off from there with fast speed.he reached office and stopped near miss.rose cabin but left from their remembering swara's sentence.'I DON'T WANT THAT'

"just great now i am doing what she wants"sanskar said to himself and cursed hard.swara entered just then.she was holding a bouquet  of red flowers and greeted miss rose with it.sanskar saw her and stopped the lift from going up.

"how is your husband now?"swara asked in concerned tone.

"he is still in hospital but much better..."miss rose said with sad smile.

"don't worry he will be alright.he is not mad to leave her beautiful wife alone here."swara said,giggling while patting her shoulder.sanskar smiled,seeing her teasing like this.

"you are becoming naughty,is this affect of living with kids?....i forgot to tell,boss has arrived.go fast otherwise you will get a good scolding early morning"miss rose said in little scary tone.sanskar frowned at that.

swara nodded and walked toward lift.she looked at sanskar,with confused face as he was standing with open doors of lift.swara just silently went inside and pushed the button of 5 floor and door closed with ding.when they reached at 3rd floor,the lift stopped with a jerk,lights went off for a second and emergency lights got on next second.

"what's wrong?..."sanskar asked in worried tone.

"sir i think there is power cut..."swara said and pressed the yellow emergency button and informed about lift stopping.sanskar got more tense,walked towared door and tried to open it

"when will it start working again?..."sanskar asked,turning back at her.

"it will take some time...."swara said,getting worried,seeing his face.

"how much time?.."sanskar asked while banging his fist at closed door.sweats appeared at his forehead and he started pacing in small space in panic state.

"sir are you alright?..."swara asked in concerned tone.sanskar didn't say anything.

"sir!..."

"make this door open...i can't breath.i have Claustrophobia."his said as his hands started shivering.she looked at his hands and held them with both hands.sanskar looked at her.

"calm down...it will be open in no time.you never get panic attack,what's wrong today."swara said,rubbing his hands.

"i..i...am taking medicine to control my panic but today i didn't take it till now."sanskar said,taking deep breaths.

"medicines?..."swara asked then remembered medicines which she used to give him after reaching office.

"sir you should have told me.i would have given those medicine in breakfast."swara said in scolding voice.

"i can't breath......"sanskar muttered as his breathes became irregular.he loosened his tie.

"swara think something.....fast....divert his mind....i should do something surprising?"swara thought,seeing his condition getting worse.her eyes widened,thinking about a idea.

"oh God it is bad idea but nothing else is coming in my mind."swara muttered while biting her bottom lip.

"sorry sir but its for your own good.."swara said in apologising tone,sanskar looked at her,confusingly but before he could have asked something.

SHRAP!!!!!

she slapped him hard right in mid of his left cheek (lol its not necessary every time that hero and heroin kiss in close lift)

"ouch!....did you just slapped me?"sanskar placed his hand on his cheek.it was burning like hell.

"yes..yes sir because...because you are very rude and...'swara said in nervous tone,seeing him taking steps toward her.

"and?....sanskar asked with raised eyebrows moved more close to her.she moved back and her back got stick with wall.

"and i am sorry sir....i knew it it was a bad idea,i...i just wanted to divert your attention..."swara said while gulping a little and looked down being scared.sanskar placed hand below her chin and raised her face to look at her scared eyes.

"you are very good at diverting attentions...."sanskar said as he stared at her flawless face.she looked at him,confusingly.

"and i didn't knew that you can slap so hard with these tiny hands,you must have out some honest feelings  while slapping therefore it hurts so badly..."sanskar said in teasing tone.

"sorry sir... i didn't mean to hurt you..."swara blabbered nervously,making sanskar chuckle a little.swara blinked at him,thinking what made him laugh all of sudden.

"but why it hurt so much?..."sanksar was not in mood to let her go easily.

"i..i don't know sir,sorry sir."swara said and cursed herself badly in her mind.sanskar clears his throat to stop his loud laugh and stepped back.

"don't tell anyone about it...you didn't think about consequences before slapping but i think about it....don't want any sort of gossips in office."sanskar said while correcting his tie as he heard opening sound of lift.swara nodded her head vigorously.

"ah! it hurts..."sanskar muttered,rubbing his cheek while stepping out from lift.

"crazy!...i have lost my mind."swara cried,slapping herself on head.

EVENING

"uff!....i am getting late."swara said,looking at her wrist watch and walked fast toward road.a car stopped in front of her with slow pace.she looked through glass window.

"not again..."swara muttered,seeing sanskar as window moved down.

"sit!...

"sir i am not going home.i have to pick sunny and pari.you go ahead and rest."swara said with sheepish smile.sanskar gives her angrily glare then thought something.

"i am also not going home...i am going to see doctor."sanskar said,caressing his cheek.

"doctor why?..."swara asked with wide eyes.

"i think my teeth is moving and it hurts a lot...if doctor removes it then you should pay for it.after all you are the reason behind it,don't you think?"sanskar asked with one raised eyebrow.

"what is he saying?..i didn't even hit him so hard?"swara cried loudly in her mind.

"what are you thinking...sit,its going to rain soon and we can pick kids also,their school is on the way."

swara bite her lower lip and sit in the car.sanskar pressed his lips,seeing her tensed,innocent face.they reached outside the acadmey.swara stepped out.

"maasiiii...."pari exclaimed while running and hugged her.swara and sanskar smiles. swara kissed her on forehead.pari greeted sanskar and he nodded with smile.

"maasi my friend gave me a gift.....can i keep it?"pari asked,innocently.sunny walked to sanskar.

"get ready for fun partner.sunny whispered to him.sanskar looked at him in confusion.

"off course you can..what is it?"swara said with smile.

"sona!...."pari looked back and waved at a girl.the girl smiled came running and gave her something.swara tried to see but it was in basket.pari turned back and opened basket.

"Aaaaaa!!......"swara screamed at top of her lungs, jumped from her place and hugged sanskar being afraid.sanskar got shock when she hid her face in his chest.sanskar unknowingly placed his hands on her back and looked at thing.

"puppy?..."sanskar muttered in combo of shock and surprise. sunny burst out laughing.pari looked at them confused.

"swara its just cute puppy.why are afraid from him?..."sanskar asked being surprised.

"i don't know anything,move it away from me..."swara said in pleading voice and looked at his face.they share a small eyelock.she broke hug quickly and stepped back but she was still holding his hand tightly.

"pari maasi is afraid from dogs...."sunny said between his laugh.

"really maasi?"pari asked in disbelief and swara nodded her head innocently.sanskar chuckled.

"then should i return bunny to sona?"pari asked in sad voice

"stupid....why is a dog named bunny?"sunny said,shaking his head side to side.

"because he is so white and cute just like bunnies...."pari said excitedly and kissed the puppy.swara watches pari sadly.

"swara breath..relax...its just a cute puppy...with sharp teeth..."swara said in scared tone then took deep breath.sanskar gazed at her face then at her hands which were entangled with his.

"maasi why are u afraid from dogs?"pari asked  and sunny again started laughing holding his stomach.

"actually..."swara said but sunny cut her in between

"pari...i will tell you..when maasi was at your age.she loved puppies a lot then one day a puppy bite her and she was injected 14 times and from that day she is afraid from dogs."

"its sad...'sanskar said,feeling sorry for her.swara looked at him and nodded her head then looked at sunny.

"sunny how do u know that?.."

"muma told me and took promise i will not tell anyne.."sunny said then he bite his tounge.swara face turned red.

"how dare she spill my secrets to you....she promised me that she will not tell anyone."swara said in anger filled tone.sanskar smiled looking at her angry face.he was looking her angry first time.

"sorry maasi i didn't know that....i will return it."pari said and was about to turn but swara stopped her.

"pari you can keep it...but keep him away from me okay?"swara said,leaving sanskar's hand,completely turned to pari.

"really maasi..i love u..."pari said happily and bunny barked at swara.swara stared at him with scared eyes.

"now everything settled....then get inside car."sanskar said and everyone sit inside and they drove off.
