I had no wifi for like three days and my data was commiting scooter ankle so I couldn't get Wattpad to load 🙂. Wonderful. Anywayyyy enjoy.

"What color is this?" Taylor said pointing to the wall of his room.

Sam rolled her eyes, getting tired of this game. Ever since Mono had been released from the hospital Taylor had subjected not only him but the entire group to stupid tests.

"I'm not colorblind idiot."

"Just answer the question!" He pointed to the wall again.

"It's gray."

Taylor hummed and looked at Six who sat beside them.

"What do you say? Is it gray?"

"Yeah it's gray. Taylor what does this have to do with-"

"Mono what color is the wall?" Taylor asked for the third time, looking at Mono who raised a brow.

"......"

"......"

"Dark white."

Everybody looked at him, then Sam snorted.

"I'm not gonna say your boyfriend is dumb Six, but he's definitely in the lower IQ spectrum."

Six giggled at that and Mono frowned.

"I am not! It's...it's dark white. When you mix black and white it-"

"It's GrAy!" Taylor said pointing to the wall rapidly.

Tato walked into the room, stared at everyone, then promptly left.

"Can we stop with the tests already? I'm fine." Mono sighed, pulling Six to him before using her shoulder as a pillow.

"Nope imma test your reflexes later."

"Tay you're just using this as an excuse to assault him." Sam mumbled.

"I am not, I'm running experiments to see if him nearly dying made him dumber than he normally is."

"I didn't lick a wall remember?" Mono shot back, making six look at him utterly confused.

"Wait what-" She started but Tay cut her off.

"You said we weren't gonna talk about that! You did too!"

"You did what?!" Six looked at Mono now and he chuckled nervously.

"Nothin nothin. We uh. Moving onto another topic uh-"

"No no no no, why the hell did you lick a wall?!"

"Pretend I didn't say anything!"

"Six." Sam put a hand on her shoulder. "These boys have the collective IQ of dirt. And sadly, they will make you dumb too, it's like a cold."

"Is that what happened to you?" Taylor said with a grin, making Sam glare in response.

"I swear I'm going to go to jail for killing you."

Mono was starting to feel tired so he got up, stretching a bit.

"And on that note I'm gonna head home."

"I'll come with you. I have work tonight anyway." Six grabbed her raincoat and pulled it on before waving goodbye.

"No making out in the alley you guys!" Tay called after them as they walked away before promptly receiving a smack to his head.

"You are such a creep!" Sam said, but Mono and Six didn't hear his response as they were already waving bye to Tato and out the door.

Six held Monos hand who swayed them back and forth as they walked, occasionally glancing up at him.

"You seem quiet...and that says something coming from me. You ok?"

Mono snorted and shook his head.

"Just have a little on my mind, it's nothing serious. What about you?"

Six knew what Mono was referring too. He'd helped her get in to see a therapist, her and her mother. It was...weird, there was the whole cliche lay on the couch and tell me about your problems thing going on.

"Honestly...I don't know yet."

"It'll get better the more you do it." Mono replied, looking down at her with a small smile. She smiled back and they continued walking in silence for a while before she spoke again.

"... Isn't it weird that two months ago we had no clue the other existed? And now we're making out in closets and cuddling."

"Well when you say it like that it definitely sounds.." Mono blinked a little and looked at her again. "Why?"

"Nothing I just. Don't you think things are... moving a little fast?" Six asked, avoiding his gaze.

".....Well.. maybe..I didn't think of that at all really.." Mono frowned, and their walk slowed to a stop. Six looked up at Mono and he looked back, and they stayed quiet. Then Six sighed.

"...I really like you, you know? But we have...we have a lot of time to be together. Your accident gave me a chance to think more about things and I realized I don't want to rush this. I want us to be somewhat normal?"

Mono was quiet for a moment longer before he smiled again.

"I get it. I mean I doubt we could be normal-. But, you're right. We have time." He then looked down sheepishly.

"Does that mean no more kisses..?"

Six laughed and stood on tip toe to peck his lips.

"Yes we can still kiss."

"Yes!" He pumped his fist up in the air like he won the lottery and Six laughed again, still finding his childlike excitement adorable. They continued their walk, Mono dropping Six off at home before eventually getting home himself.

Tomas still wasn't home. Mono had been discharged from the hospital two days prior and came home to an empty house. For some reason his dad made it a point to not be home when Mono was, although by the freshly washed dishes and used shower he knew Tomas had been there.

It was really beginning to upset Mono. What kind of dad would leave his kid after he almost died all because he was angry? Well his did apparently. So he spent most of the day with his friends, only coming home at night to sleep. Christmas was coming soon though...

Mono sat on his bed, looking at a poster on his wall. His dad had given it to him. It was a picture of a city, but in the distance was a giant tower with the ever present red light above. He couldn't figure out where that city was, but it looked familiar for some reason.

He spent some time doing nothing before eventually falling asleep.

The next day, the squad decided to visit the mall. "All I Want For Christmas" was on repeat as it was ever year, slowly draining the sanity of every shopper, and the group mainly window shopped for a while before Mono remembered something.

"Hey have you guys seen Tay? he's been gone a while.."

"Eh..Nope." Sam responded.

"No, I haven't." Six said fiddling with a small gnome keychain she'd bought.

"Probably went to MacDonalds or something." Tato said, adjusting the purple scarf he wore around his neck.

"Hey." They all jumped at the sound of Taylors voice.

"Ohhhh there you are-" Mono chuckled.

"What the fu-" Sam looked at Tay, and Tato looked around.

"I- where were you?!" Tato said and Taylor rolled his eyes.

"I was right behind you!"

"Why are you so quiet-?" Mono asked and Taylor smiled.

"Wellllll, Val asked me on a date!"

Everyone looked at one another.

"When?" Tato asked.

"Tonight."

They all looked at one another again and grabbed Taylor before dragging him to a nearby store.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING-"

"Well we made a deal that if you ever got a date we'd give you a makeover." Six said as she immediately started looking at the clothes.

"I. I do not need a makeover you guys."

"Well you always make us suffer so we're making you suffer. But hey, at least you benefit!" Tato grabbed a few shirts and pushed Tay towards a dressing room.

"I swear imma go super Saiyan on you guys." Tay grumbled.

Nearly an hour later and Taylor had a fresh new outfit, his thick crazy hair styled into a somewhat manageable style.

"Never thought I'd say this but, looking good Tay." Sam said, and Taylor smirked.

"Don't say that, you might make Tato jealous~"

Tato walked up calmly and bonked Taylor, then walked back to his place beside Sam with a satisfied smile.

"Alright alright let's go guys." Mono led them out the mall and they wandered a bit more before returning to Taylors house where Val showed up a while later to meet with Taylor. They left and the others tried to think of something to do to pass the time.

Six had to call her Mom and disappeared, and the three settled on a game of twister.

"Red right hand." Mono said about several minutes into the game. Tato tried to twist but ended up toppling over onto Sam who glared up at Mono.

"You're doing this on purpose aren't you." She growled and he smirked.

"I stopped spinning like fifteen minutes ago I'm surprised you didn't notice."

"Why you little-"

"I left for twenty minutes why is Tato on Sam." Six asked walking back into the room.

"Monos being sus!" Tato whined as he tried to unravel his body from Sam's.

"Hey I'm not the one on the ground right now buddy." Mono chuckled as he sat down on a chair, watching the struggle feeling proud of himself. Six took out her phone again and took a picture.

"Six I like you but now I'm going to hurt you." Sam said bluntly and Six smiled.

"If you could even catch me." She challenged.

"Oh you're on."

Sam pushed Tato off of her and leaned to her feet before chasing after Six who took off running. Mono and Tato looked at each other.

"Should we do something?" He asked and Tato shook his head.

"No thanks, I choose life."

"Understandable."

A few hours later Taylor and Val returned, Taylor promptly grabbing Tato and Six and dragging them upstairs to his room. Val sat down with Sam and Mono, and the post date interrogation began.

"Val kissed me!" Taylor shouted, and Six got excited.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!"

" It was unbelievable!"

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" Six was basically a fan girl at this point.

Tato clapped his hands together.

 "Okay, we wanna hear everything. Six, mute all phones and lock the door, no distractions. Taylor, does this end well or do we need tissues?"

 "Oh, it ended very well."

"Okay, alright, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it a soft brush against your lips or was it like a, you know, “I gotta have you now” kind of thing?" Tato asked, picking up a notebook.

"Well, at first it was really intense, you know? And then, oh God, and then we just sort of sunk into it." Taylor swooned.

"Ohh... So, okay, was she holding you? Or were her hands on your back?"

"First they started out on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my hair."

Six and Tato listened like children being told a bedtime story.

" Ohhhhhhhh." They both said in unison.

meanwhile Mono, Sam, and Val quietly sipped their respective drinks.

"And, uh, and then I kissed him." Val said calmly."

"With tongue?" Mono asked.

" Yep."

"Cool." Sam responded.
