Katherine POV

The moment I found out that Caroline had been kidnapped by Mikael I had lost all sense and was on the brink of having a mental breakdown and falling into a mental spiral.

Caroline was the first person except Elijah to accept me for who I was back then when they had found out I was Katherine not their poor little Elena.

Much to everyone's surprise and dismay she didn't jump to conclusions or judge me too quickly, she had been there for me in times no one even spare me a glance. She had been there when I would rant about Elijah and everything and anything.

It had been a surprise to me when later I had found out that no one appreciated her and made it my mission to tell every living and dead soul how great she was, and it was well worth it because when I had finished she had been beaming with joy. It was a great friendship.

But it was short lived when they all decided that they needed Elena and not me, of course Caroline was not a part of this. When they had finally knew how to bring Elena back, Caroline had to be restrained to stop her from interfering.

When Elena had finally came back, it was like they had all forgotten me, except Care. She was the only one who really grieved me. On the other side I had always been with her since I didn't know where to go, I had found Kol like that.

When she had found out Silas was her father she had went into her room and had broken down crying, calling for anyone to listen to her, but her friends were too absorbed with Elena.

And when I had vowed to haunt the Mystic falls residents, Stefan came and consoled her, he was there for her when I couldn't be.

When she had resurrected me and Kol, I was elated that someone had moved heaven and earth for me and I could never pay her back for it. At that moment I had promised her that I would forever protect her from anything and everything that would try to harm her.

In short Caroline was like a sister to me, I would not be able to exist without her and it scared me that I had admitted that.

Right now we had invited Dhalia to a location away from the cemetery and me and Kol were checking the perimeter to kill any vampires and wolves that had come with her.

Then sudddenly a vampire came at me and threw me to a tree, I stood up and showed my fangs at him "You better not irritate me, I am very anger today and kill you and do my nails at the same time" I said getting ready to rip his heart out.

Then suddenly Kol came from his behind and ripped his heart out. "That was my Kill" I whined to him.

"We are here to distract my Aunt that has gone completely bonkers, not kill vampires and wolves" he said in a matter of fact voice.

"I know, are all of them done" I asked him.

"Yes, now can we go back to Bonnie and 'lijah, they must be waiting for us" he asked.

"Sure" I replied even though I knew that no one would be waiting for me, they only care about Kol.

"Why have you invited me her?" Dhalia asked us with a bitter voice and I had to remind myself that she had Caroline to stop myself from physically harm her.

"You have Kidnapped Caroline, we want her back and in return we will not burn you in hell" I said in the same voice.

"Ah!, Caroline is ours now, Mikael is torturing her as we speak, your friend put up quite the resistance, but everyone has a breaking point" she said with a sadistic smile.

Then suddenly Elijah and Kol went and held her each side and bonnie casted a spell on her.

"Somno et somno praeter te" she continued chanting and I saw my entry and snapped her neck and it twisted with a pop.

But as soon as I did this, a force field pushed us back as we tried to get close to her it would burn us and it hurt like hell.

"What do we do?" I asked no one in particular.

"Leave her here what else can we do" Elijah replies to my question.

"Anyway, Caroline has returned back, but it seems that Mikael has put a spell on her" Kol said in a serious voice and I could detect a hint of anger in it.

"We have to go back, I have to see what I can do" Bonnie said with worry etched across her face.

"What are we waiting for, Lets go" I said as we vamp-speed towards the hose and I could hear bonnie saying 'Damn vampire speed' and laughed.
