Katherine POV

"You can come out from behind the door now, Katherine and Ashton" Caroline says, hastily rubbing the tears from her eyes that wouldn't stop leaking. Me and Ashton had seen the whole scene taking place. It broke my heart to see Stefan like this.

I look at Ashton and he just shrugs his shoulders, "I knew she would find out" He says, completely fine with being caught.

Me and him come out from our hiding spot as I run towards her, throwing my arms around her neck to hug her tight. She, in turn, puts her arms around me and starts sobbing on my shoulder. Ashton comes around both of us and puts his arms around Caroline's wait, closing his eyes.

"Was it really my fault? What I said to Stefan, does that make me selfish?" She asks, her voice coming out muffled as she still stays on my shoulder, crying her heart out.

"Of Course it doesn't Caroline, look, if Stefan doesn't understand your situation, then its his fault, not yours" I say to her, trying to make her feel better.

"It's not your fault, Care, that bastard doesn't care for you if he thinks that its your fault. I mean who does that!! Screw him" Ashton says, shaking his head in anger.

I had always known that he and Caroline were great friends, I could even say that he felt something other than friendship for my little Care. But that didn't matter because I knew he wouldn't act on those feeling, he loved Caroline too much to lose her over a simple crush.

"I dont know what to do Kat and Ash, its all a jumbled mess in my mind" She sobs out, her eyes red and puffy due to the tears, "at one point I'm so tired that all I can think about is sleeping, but then I remember my nightmares and I have to try hard and use all my energy to not sleep"

"Caroline....that's not healthy" I say, my voice coming out as a whisper, as I see Ashton making fists with him hands, almost as if he wants to hit something or someone. At this moment Ashton looked like he could kill someone.

"I know that, of course I know that, but I can't sleep, so I do the next best thing, use my magic.." She says, a vulnerable look on her face, a look that made her look like the Caroline I had turned into a vampire, the Caroline that was too self conscious to speak her mind.

A knock on the door brings me out of my thoughts as Caroline quickly gets up and wipes her tears moving towards her desk, I too stand up and go to the door, which on opening reveals a embarred looking Rebekah Mikealson.

"Rebekah" I say distastefully, my mouth forming a frown, as I let her in. I had never liked the Orignal Blonde, she always acted too bitchy and entitled around me. "What brings you to this part of the house? Shouldn't you be with Elijah collecting the herbs and what not required for teh spell?"

"Well, if you have no sense of bloody time, I want to tell you that it's been an hour since Klaus has gone and we have collected all the necessary things required for the spell" She says, her usual bratty tone sounding softer than usual, which led me to believe that she had heard our conversation.

"I'm so sorry for making you and Elijah wait. Me and Katharine will be with you in a second" Caroline says, her voice soft, but still sounding a bit hoarse because of the crying.

"No....she isn't sorry because it isn't her fault" Ashton says, narrowing his eyes on the original barbie Klaus, like Damon called her.

"I can wait" She says, oblivious to the fact that me and Ashton didn't want her here, "We can all go together!"

"Sure" Caroline says, beaming. I swear, she could make friends out of anyone.

"Is everything ready?" Caroline asks Elijah as we enter the drawing room. Elijah was sitting on the sofa like a pure gentleman. He made sitting, a trivial task, look so elegant.

"Yes Miss Forbes, everything is ready" Elijah replies to Caroline, but his gaze is on me, looking as dashing as ever, he gives me a small smile.

"Are you alright, Katerina? You look a little red" he says frowning, as he comes closer and strokes my hair

I burn red with embarrassment as I see Caroline struggling not to laugh. At least she is laughing now I think Even if its at my expense

"So Elijah, when do you think we can leave" Rebekah asks, clearing her throat as she looks everywhere but us.

"Whenever Miss Forbes wants to leave" He replies, smiling sweetly at me as I see Ashton mimicking his form and words.

"I guess we should go now, I don't want Klaus to wait too much" Caroline says, looking worried now.

Just then, the door bell rang, me and everyone vamp speed to it, Caroline opens it and steps out, not glancing back. When I see the face of the person who ringed the bell I take a big step back. I never expected to see that face ever again.

Not since I had left Mystic falls. No I think rubbing my eyes, this cannot be happening, how is he here?

"I- I....they took- they said- I didn't know- what the-" He says as he stumbles back, not able to come into the house due to the shield around it.

"Oh My God" Caroline whispers as her hand comes up to cup her mouth. Ashton dosent know him so he just looks at us with confusion.

"Who the hell is he?" he asks us, looking at the sweat and blood covered body of none other than..

How are you all? I'm not feeling so good.... This lockdown is getting to my head!! I feel that I could die from boredom at any second!!

Now about that cliffhanger......Who do you think it is?!?!?

I feel so bad for leaving you at this scene.....but then again, I wanna introduce him form someone else's POV...

But don't worry, I will post the next chapter as soon as I possibly can...
