Surprise 😀😀😀!!! I am back and this time with an early update as the readers of this FF deserve an early update just like the readers of my other two FFs.

"I AM SORRY" as Sonakshi heard that her eyes widened in surprise and before she could reply, Dev turned and headed out as Sonakshi kept looking at his retreating back. And once again she was lost but this time it was more in confusion as to why did the stranger apologize. All this while someone was observing her closely and it was none other than Avni. She had heard Dev say sorry to Sonakshi before heading out and was surprised but decided to ask about it to her friend later. She snapped her fingers in front of Sonakshi to bring her out of her thoughts.

"Kahan kho gayi?" she asked as Sonakshi came out of her reverie

"Huh..Nahi kahi nahi. I am sorry" she replied as Avni looked at her with questioning eyes.

"Oh..I mean have a good day and pleasant stay in Mumbai Ma'am" said Sonakshi correcting herself.

"You too and all the best. Enjoy in Mumbai" Avni replied as Sonakshi smiled and nodded as Avni left.

As all the passengers exited the cabin crew picked their luggage and headed out. While they were walking on the Aerobridge leading to the exit Reena suddenly asked Sonakshi "Waisey Sonkashi, Wo tujhey sorry kyun keh raha tha?" as Sonakshi looked towards her in surprise. Reena who was working at the galley when Sonakshi was bidding goodbye to the passengers had watched the whole scenario of Dev apologizing to Sonakshi and asked her the same.

"Kya, kya bol rahi hai tu. Kiski baat kar rahi hai tu? Kaun mujhsey sorry keh raha tha? Sonakshi fumbled trying to regain her composure.

"Ab zyada bann mat. Main ney sab kuch dekha hai. Arey main ussi bandey ki baat kar rahi hoon jo tujhsey subah takraya tha. Nikaltey waqt uss ney Sorry kyun kaha tujhey? Usney toh subah hi tujhsey do baar maafi maang li thi toh phir se maafi kyun maang raha tha tujhsey?" Reena fired her questions as Sonakshi who was tongue tied. She herself was in a confusion as to why the stranger did that and did not understand what to reply.

"Nahi aisa kuch nahi hai" Sonakshi replied trying to avoid Reena's questions but as she looked at her she understood that Reena did not believe her, seeing no other way out she decided to tell what she thought of the situation.

"Reena, actually mujhey bhi pata nahi uss ney sorry kyun kaha? Shayad subah ke incident ke liye" said Sonakshi as Reena raised her brows

"Aaha, Matlab subah do baar maafi maang ney ke baad bhi wo phir se maafi maang raha tha. Interesting. Kahin tujhey impress karney ka irada toh nahi hai uska" Reena replied

"Kya, kya bol rahi hai tu? Wo mujhey impress kyun karna chahega. Aur mujhey toh ye bhi pata nahi ki uss sey phir kabhi mulakat hogi ki bhi nahi?" said Sonakshi, the last part though in a whisper but Reena was quick to catch it.

"Matlab, tu uss sey phir se milna chahti hai?" she replied back

"Nahi, Nahi main, main uss sey kyun milna chahungi" Sonakshi stuttered and ducked her head down with a smile forming on her face as she remembered the events that happened with her since morning. It was an eventful day till now for her to say the least and then his sorry while exiting just added to it, she wondered what more was in store for her. She somehow felt an unknown attraction towards the stranger and now that she was thinking of it she remembered his dark chocolate brown eyes. She felt she had seen those eyes before but was not able to remember where was it. All the while though Reena was observing Sonakshi closely and was surprised to see her colleague cum friend's reaction at the talk of the stranger.

"Sonakshi, tum sharma kyun rahi ho?" she asked her as Sonakshi looked up in surprise.

"Kya, kya bol rahi ho tum Reena. Meri taang khichna band karo aur chalo, dare ho rahi hai. Aur Agar tum chahti ho toh agar wo phir se milega toh uss sey tumhara setting karva deti hoon" Sonakshi replied returning to her fiery best and tried to reverse the situation on Reena

"Sach main, Please yaar aisa karva de yaar waisey bhi banda kafi hot aur handsome hai. Mujhey toh chalega." Reena replied with a tease as she could sense a hint on annoyance and probably jealousy on Sonakshi's face as she said that.

"Haan karva doongi, ab chal Dare ho rahi hai?" said Sonakshi irritated as Reena chuckled at her reaction and then they went towards the exit.

Dev and Avni were at the baggage belt waiting to collect their luggage. There was still sometime for the baggage to arrive as Avni decided to probe Dev.

"Waisey Dev, Tuney uss sey sorry kyun kaha?" she asked suddenly catching Dev by surprise

"Kya, Kiss sey sorry kaha main ney?" he stuttered while replying

"Zyada natak matt kar. Arey Sonakshi sey jab hum plane se bahar nikal rahey they tab?" Avni said as a matter of fact as Dev looked at her astonished. He did not expect Avni to see that but now that she had seen it he knew she would not let go of him without knowing the whole matter but that was not the problem for Dev. The problem was that after knowing he knew that she would not loose any chance to tease him and that was worrying him.

"Wo, Wo main ney uss sey iss liye kaha kyunki main uss pey chilaya tha. Jab tuney bataya ki uska pehla din tha aur mere chilaney se wo sad thi aur ro rahi thi toh mujhey realize hua ki shayad main uss pey thoda harsh tha. Uska pehla din tha aur main ney uss pey chilla diya jabki jo bhi hua wo toh accidental tha, waisa toh kisi ke saath bhi ho sakta hai. Isi liye main ney uss sey Sorry kaha" Dev confessed as Avni looked at him in surprise, she knew that when it came to work her friend was a hard task master and did not like any lax in the work. Yes it was not an intentional mistake from Sonakshi but then again it was not the first time anyone had made an unintentional mistake before Dev but his reaction today was quite opposite to his normal reaction. She could sense that somewhere Dev was affected with the girl but decided not to ask her doubts right away.

"Kya baat hai Dev, tu toh badal gaya. Matlab the Dev Dixit jo sirf apni family aur friends se sorry kehta hai aaj uss ney kisi aur ladki se sorry kaha wo bhi teen teen baar, Baat kya hai?" she asked as Dev looked surprised

"Koi baat nahi hai Avni, wo galti meri thi toh main ney maafi maang li. Big deal. Ab apney mann main khayali pulao pakana band kar aur dekh humara bag aaya ya nahi" Dev replied as Avni looked at him with a smile. She was about to reply when she raised her hand and greeted someone who had just come behind Dev.

"Hey Hi" Avni said as Dev turned to look at the person and was instantly surprised.

Sonakshi along with her colleagues for Michele to complete the final formalities before exiting. They were discussing their plans for the day which involved a visit to the Fashion street, Gateway of India and round it off at the Marine Drive. Just as they were discussing Sonakshi's eyes fell on Avni on was waiting at the baggage belt and was talking to someone. She could instantly make out who it was and excusing herself she moved towards them. She wanted to apologize to the stranger for her behaviour this morning as well as for the incident on the flight. As she reached them it was Avni who saw her first and greeted her.

"Hi Ma'am" Sonakshi replied as Dev looked surprised seeing Sonakshi there

"Avni, Mujhey bulao Sonakshi. Tum Ma'am kehti ho toh aisey lagta hai ki main koi teacher hoon aur tum meri student" she replied as Sonkashi chuckeld as her nerves eased a bit. She looked towards Dev who was still surprised at her sudden arrival.

"Aap, Aap yahan kya kar rahi hain?" he asked

"Wo, Wo mujhey aap sey maafi maangni thi?" she replied nervously as both Avni and Dev looked at her in surprise.

"Kiss baat ki maafi. Oh, agar aap flight main huey incident ki baat kar rahi hain toh aapko maafi maangney ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aapki galti nahi thi, jo bhi hua wo bas accidental tha aur kuch nahi. Toh aapko maafi maangney ki zaroorat nahi hai Sonakshi" Dev said as Sonakshi's jangling nerves eased though she was surprised that he knew her name but the next moment realization dawned to her that badge was still on her dress.

"Ji, Lekin galti meri thi, mujhey dekh key chalna chahiye tha. Aur waisey bhi main uss baat ke liye nahi subah ke baat ke liye aapsey maafi maangna chahti thi" she said as Dev realized what she was talking about. She continued "Jiss tarah Flight wala incident accidental tha waisey hi subah ka incident bhi accidental tha aur main khamakha aap pey chila padi. Wo aaj mera pehla din tha toh main bohut nervous thi aur upar se headache tha aur phir aapsey takra gayi toh mera gussa aap pey nikal gaya" she said in a breath as Avni and Dev looked at her bewilderingly

"Calm down Sonkashi, Uss baat ke liye aapko maafi maang ney ki zaroorat nahi hai. I can understand aur phir bhi agar aapko maafi maang ni hai toh Apology accepted" replied Dev as Sonkashi calmed down

"Waisey aapka ek sorry udhar raha mujh par" Sonakshi said as Dev looked in surprised and asked her "Matlab?" confusion etched on his face.

"Dekhiye aapney mujhey subah do baar aur phir ek baar flight main sorry bola, toh total teen baar. Lekin main ney aapko sirf do bar sorry bola subah wale aur flight waley incident ke liye. Toh hua na aapka ek sorry udhar mujh par" she replied in all seriousness but the very next moment Dev and Sonakshi burst out laughing.

"Accha, Toh aap chahti hai ki aap phir se koi galti karein aur mujhsey maafi maangey. Lekin uss key liye toh humey dobara milna padega" said Dev regaining his composure as Sonakshi looked at him with wide eyes. "Kya hum phir milenge?" asked Dev looking in her eyes as Sonakshi ducked her head down in shyness "Pata nahi" she whispered as Dev smiled. While all this was happening Avni was staring at the two in bewilderment, the ease with which the conversation flowed between the two it did not seem the two were strangers. She coughed as both came out of their reverie and looked towards her.

"Waisey Sonakshi how was your first day, Main ney suna hai MYSTIQUE AIRLINES is not a great place to work?" she asked changing the topic as Dev looked at her in confusion not understanding why she said like that.

"Kis ney kaha aapsey. Ye toh meri dream company hai. And the company policies for the employees are so good. Aapko pata hai it's the best airlines in Asia and the best in customer service. In fact it's the only Private airlines which had had Profit for the last five years continuously..." as she continued with her praise Dev looked at her with a smile, he could see the glint and passion in her eyes as she spoke about their Airlines and felt proud.

"Is it?" asked Avni feigning surprise as Sonakshi nodded in a yes and replied "Haan, aap na mujhey uss sey mila dena jiss ney aapsey aisa kaha. Acchi tarah samjha doongi usey" she said as Dev and Avni chuckled.

"Waisey hum subah se itni baar mil chukey hain aur ek doosrey ko itni baar Sorry bol chukey hai. Lekin mujhey aapka naam hi pata nahi" Sonakshi asked feeling at ease with them ans asked unhesitatingly

Before Dev could reply Avni chipped in "Waisey log issey pyar se TILU bulatey hain" as Sonakshi's eyes widened while Dev glared at Avni but the very next moment Sonakshi burst out laughing and Dev was once again lost but this time in her laughter.

Before she could reply Sonakshi heard Kia calling her as they needed to leave. Turning towards them "Accha, Mujhey abhi chalna hai. Bye Avni, Bye Tilu ji" she said in mischief and hurried towards her colleagues.

As she left Dev turned in anger towards Avni who said "Kya aisey gussey se dekh kyun raha hai. Main ney sirf apna badla liya hai mujhsey chutti waley din dare raat tak kaam karwa ne ke liye" as Dev looked on irritated but then calmed down knowing how his friend was just as their luggage arrived.

Picking up their luggage they went towards the exit when Dev said "Waisey abb tujhey pata chala main kyun Ad ke liye apney hi employees ko lene ki baat kar raha tha" as Avni nodded in agreement and replied "Haan, Idea toh tera accha hai aur humney uska glimpse bhi dekh liya. Lekin main ek baar jo bhi Ad agency finalize hogi unsey baat karney ke baad ye decision loongi" as Dev nodded and they headed out for their hotel.

The rest of the day passed with Dev and Avni attending meetings while Sonakshi and her colleagues were exploring Mumbai. They were at the Marine Drive after visiting the fashion street and gateway of India. While they were walking on the sidewalk along the sea with the cool breeze hitting their faces suddenly a young girl dashed into Sonakshi's shoulder making her loose her balance as she was about to fall but the next moment someone caught her, as she opened her eyes which she had shut in the fear of the fall the same words escaped from her mouth.

"WAHIN AANKHEIN"

I actually wanted a genuine feedback from the readers if they are liking the story. As the number of reads to the number of votes makes me feel that the readers are not liking it, So please do give me a genuine feedback so that I can improve my writing and if not then maybe I can discontinue this story and maybe try a new concept which you might like.
