Its Tuesday 😀😀and I am back with the next update.
My sincere apologies for the long delay but I was caught up with my work.🙏🙏🙏

"DON'T TOUCH ME, IN FACT DON'T TALK TO ME" said Sonakshi she jerked his hand away and moved towards the window from where the garden could be seen, Dev was perplexed unable to understand her reaction, just moments before everything was fine when his sisters were there with them and now when he wanted to spend some alone time with her she seemed to angry, he scratched his head thinking what could be the matter for her weird behavior but could not conclude anything.

"Sonakshi, What's the matter? Why are you behaving like this?" he asked moving towards her and kept his hand on her shoulder but the very next moment just like before she jerked his hand away and spoke in a louder tone than before "I told you right, not to touch me" she said as Dev was left confused once again, this was the first time she had shouted at him. He was still unable to understand why she was upset. She turned her face away from him, lest he saw the tears which were about to spill from her eyes.

"Accha Baba, I will not touch you" he said but there was no reaction from her, he continued "But at least tell me what's the matter? Why are you upset" he asked but Sonakshi was quiet, she did not utter a word as Dev waited. After a few moments he said "Sonakshi, if you don't tell me why you are upset how would I know?" he asked as Sonakshi went away wordlessly and sat on the bed looking at her feet, Dev went and sat beside her making sure he maintained a distance from her lest she burst out on him again.

"Sona..." he said but before he could continue Sonakshi hugged him and started sobbing unable to control her tears anymore as Dev was left tongue-tied seeing her reaction, she banged her tiny fists on his chest hitting Dev as she mumbled "You do not trust me Dev, you don't trust me" she said as Dev was left speechless unable to understand why she felt so while she kept banging her fist while Dev tightened his hug. After a few moments he brought her out of hug as she was still sniffing lightly.

"Sona, first stop crying please" he said as she calmed down a bit but still was looking down not meeting his eyes "Sona..Look at me" he said as he kept his hand on her chin and moved it up so as to make her face him "Never say that Sonakshi, never say that I do not trust you" he said gazing into her eyes.

"If you had trusted me then you would have never hidden anything from me Dev" she said as Dev was left perplexed "What Did I hide Sonakshi" he asked in a surprised tone.

"You would not have hidden that your parents wanted you to meet a girl for your marriage Dev" she said as it finally dawned to him what she was talking about and why she was upset. He had to convince his upset bae now.

"Sonakshi..." said Dev and held her chin up to face him "I hid it from you not because I did not trust you, it was because I did not want you to get stressed. Already you were stressed due to the circumstances at your house and I did not want to add to it" he confessed as Sonakshi looked at him with widened eyes, once again he had surprised her. She mentally scolded herself for misunderstanding him.

"Dev, when I said I love you it meant that I loved everything about you. It meant that not only in your happiness but also in your sadness and troubles I will be with you. It meant that not only you but even I have the right to take care of you. Share your responsibilities, your troubles, your fears, apprehensions everything. If I was stressed even you were stressed as well but you did not give me the chance to share it with you, instead you chose to face it all yourself and that's not how partnerships work Dev" she said as Dev was left speechless, listening to her, seeing her love for him.

"I am sorry" he said and hugged her as she hugged him back leaning on to his chest "You better be Mr.Dixit" she mumbled against his chest as he smiled and tightened his hug.

"By the way, you look like a stick, but your hits hurt, huh" he said chuckling rubbing his chest while she immediately came out of the hug and hit him on his shoulder "You called me a stick?" she said and turned away annoyed as Dev hugged her from behind "Sona..." he said and nuzzled into her neck as she leant on him feeling his lips on her skin, goosebumps had erupted on her skin as his touch came in contact with hers.

"Bhaiya" screamed Nikki knocking on the door as both came out of their reverie, a blush had formed on Sonakshi's cheeks. "Ah, This Devil will never leave us alone" he said scrunching his nose in irritation as Sonakshi chuckled and ruffled his hairs "Aww, Baby is angry is it?" she said pulling his cheeks as Dev replied "Don't do that" while Sonakshi's laugh increased "Go and open the door lest your sister breaks it" she said as Dev nodded and went.

"What's the matter Nikki?" he asked as she chuckled seeing her brother's annoyed expressions but then stopped when he glared at her "Dadi is calling you guys" she said as right at that moment Sonakshi came and stood beside him "We are coming Nikki" she said as Nikki nodded and left while Dev and Sonakshi went down towards the living room.

As they came down Dadi said "Sonakshi beta, come and sit besides me" as Sonakshi went and settled beside her while Dev settled beside Nani who had asked Dev to come and sit with her. Just then everyone heard a voice.

"So guys, everything settled" said person as everyone turned towards the person who was none other than Avni who had just arrived with Jatin "Yes Avni, everything was according to how you all had planned" said Ishwari looking at Avni, Dadi and Nani.

It was then that Dev and Sonakshi understood that it was all Avni's plan along with their grandmothers, the very next moment he ran towards Avni who started running as well, she had expected a similar reaction from him. While the Boses along with Sonakshi were surprised seeing the scene before them the Dixits remained quiet with a smile playing on their lips, Nikki and Riya were cheering Avni on.

After a few moments Dev caught Avni and held her neck from behind "You idiot, it was all your plan. Do you know how much scared we were?" he said and left her as she laughed out loud seeing her friend's irritated expressions.

"Aww, Tilu Baba is angry" she said and pulled his cheeks as Dev shrugged her off "Don't do that Avni" he said while everyone laughed.

"Settle down you two" said Rajeev as both nodded and settled down.

"The dinner is ready, let us all proceed for that" said Dadi as everyone nodded, the dinner passed with bantering between and talks between everyone. After the dinner the Boses took leave with the promise that they will keep in touch and also decide on a day for the engagement when the kids were ready while Avni and Jatin decided to reveal their relationship after a few days. Right now only their grandmothers along with Dev and Sonakshi knew about it. While leaving Dev blew a kiss to Sonakshi which was not missed by Ishwari as she pulled his ears seeing her son's naughty side while Sonakshi chuckled and left with her family.

The next day the AD-shoot was going on in the office premises, Dev had a few meetings to attend hence he was not present at the shooting. It was the last day of the shoot at the office premises as the shoot for the next 3 days were scheduled outdoor which meant Dev could not attend those as he had meetings lined up and since the shooting location was located outskirts of the city the cast and crew for the AD were supposed to stay there at a resort for the next 3 days practically making it impossible for Dev and Sonakshi to meet each other. It was precisely due to this reason that Sonakshi was getting restless, she wanted to spend time with Dev before going away for 3 days, but he was caught up with his meetings while she with her AD shoot. She mentally chided herself for behaving like a lovelorn teenager but that was the effect of the man she loved DEV. She was waiting eagerly for the lunch break to be called by the Director.

On the other hand, the situation was no different with Dev. Even he was eagerly waiting for the meetings to get over so that he could go and spend some time with Sonakshi. A couple of hours later his meeting got over as he quickly got up and made his way towards the shooting location. As he reached he looked out for Sonakshi but could not find her, the director had just announced the lunch break after which Sonakshi had gone to the restroom to freshen up. Not finding her Dev looked for Avni to ask about Sonakshi's whereabouts but before he could go someone called him.

"Dev" called the person as he turned to look while the person waved at him, Dev reciprocated back and smiled as he moved towards the person.

"Hi Reena, how are you?" he asked the person who was none other than Reena, couple of girls who were a part of the AD accompanied her.

"I am fine Dev, how are you?" she said and continued before he could reply "By the way did not see you at the shooting from the morning?" she asked as Dev replied "Yes, was busy with meetings Reena" he said and looked around to see if he could find either of Sonakshi or Avni.

"You are looking for someone" asked Reena seeing him look around while Dev replied "No...No..No one" he fumbled, he didn't want to tell her that he was looking for Sonakshi lest she might get suspicious about them and he did not want that to happen now.

"Had your lunch?" she asked as Dev nodded in no "Why don't you come with us then? We are heading to the cafeteria" she said but before he could refuse Reena caught his hand and pulled him "Let's go" she said while Dev was too shocked to react as he went along with them thinking it would be impolite and rude of him to refuse her, little did he know what blunder he had done.

Sonakshi came back after a few moments hoping Dev would be their but not finding him she was disappointed. She first went to his cabin to see if he was there but was informed by his secretary that he was not in the cabin as she then went towards Avni's cabin to ask her.

"Can I come in?" knocked Sonakshi as she reached the door of Avni's cabin "Yes, please" came the voice from inside as Sonakshi entered the cabin, as she entered she saw Jatin as well present in the room as she mentally chided herself for disturbing them.

"I am sorry to disturb you guys" she said as Avni replied "No worries Sonakshi, tell me what makes you come here?" she asked as Sonakshi replied in an eager tone "Do you know where Dev is?" she asked

"Aahaann...someone is missing Dev badly" teased Avni as Sonakshi blushed, she ducked her head to hide it as Avni continued "Did you check in his cabin?" she asked as Sonakshi nodded in a yes and said "Yes, in fact his secretary informed that the meeting was over sometime back and I called him as well but his phone was switched off" she informed as Avni nodded, after pondering for a few seconds she said "Did you check in the cafeteria?" Sonakshi nodded in a No while Avni said "Let's go there, even we need to have our lunch" she said as she got up along with the Jatin and the Trio headed towards the cafeteria.

A few minutes later they reached the cafeteria and looked around when they heard a laughter from the left side as the trio looked towards the people seated there and were caught by surprise. In front of them was Dev along with Reena and a couple of girls as they laughed because of a joke that Dev had cracked, so lost were they in their laughter that they had not seen the Trio standing there. Suddenly the trio saw Reena who was sitting beside Dev put her hand on Dev's left hand which was on the table as they laughed.

"My friend is dead" muttered Avni in a scared tone leaning towards Jatin who replied "He definitely is" as both looked at Sonakshi whose face had reddened, anger coupled with jealousy was clearly visible on her face as she saw at the scene unfolding before them, only one thought was going on in her mind "DEV DIXIT, HOW DARE YOU? YOU ARE GONE. YOU ARE GONNA HAVE A HARD TIME, VERY HARD INDEED"
