"Dev Dixit, I LOVE YOU"

To say that Dev was stunned would have been an understatement, for a moment he thought that he was dreaming, the person he loved had confessed her love for him. Various emotions were surging through him, he did not know what to do at that moment. Whether to laugh or cry, jump in happiness or be calm, whether to take her in bone crushing hug or calmly confess his love. All these days he had imagined various scenarios where he would propose her and witness Sonakshi's subsequent reaction to that but this was different in fact it was exactly the opposite of what he had thought off but it felt good, really good in fact.

But on the other hand, for Sonakshi each passing moment felt like a year, she was waiting with bated breath for his answer but his silence was killing her by the moment, her worst fears were coming true and she felt like a fool for confessing her love. She thought that she had spoiled the friendship which they shared, unable to bear his silence anymore she spoke.

"I am sorry Dev, I don't even know what I was thinking. I should have known that there's no match between us. Please do not let it affect our friendship Dev. I am sorry, I have spoiled everything. I am really..." she blabbered but before she could continue she felt a finger on her lips which made her quiet as her breath hitched and eyes widened as she looked at Dev who was looking at her with a smile, he slowly got up from his chair and moving towards her staring into her eyes he spoke in a husky tone.

"Do you always blabber so much or is my presence making you do that Ms. Bose" he said as Sonakshi was lost for words, she did not know what to reply as Dev continued.

"What happened Ms. Bose, why are you quiet" he asked again slowly as Sonakshi gestured through her eyes towards his finger on her lips as Dev said, "Oh I am sorry" and removed his finger as Sonakshi's breathing returned to normal as she got up from her chair, a slight blush had formed on her face as she ducked her head to hide that, but the very next moment Dev kept his fingers on her chin and raised her face up so that their eyes met.

As soon as their eyes met Sonakshi seemed to lose herself in his Dark brown eyes while Dev smirked, happy at the affect he had on her, he slowly moved his hand to tuck the strand of hair behind her ear. All this while Sonakshi seemed to be in a daze as Dev slowly moved his lips head towards her ear and spoke in a husky tone.

"Ms.Sonakshi Bose, I LOVE YOU TOO" he said

As soon as he said that Sonakshi's eyes widened once again, she did not know how to react, it was a moment she wanted to treasure her whole life. She felt like it was a dream and wished that time would stop so that she would not come out of that dream. But then this was not a dream, it was reality and the next thing she did was just hug Dev tightly and hide herself in his broad chest as a smile formed on Dev's face and he returned the hug with equal intensity, both forgetting the surroundings they were in. Luckily since it was still early in the evening there were not many couples around and Dev had ensured that their table was away from the crowd in a corner where both would get privacy.

They did not know for how long they hugged each other when suddenly Dev felt a wetness on his Tee and heard a sniveling sound, he broke the hug and held Sonakshi's face in both in palms and made her look at him as he said.

"What happened Sonakshi? Why are you crying?" he said in a concerned tone as Sonakshi moved her sideways to indicate it was nothing and just hugged him once again but she was still sniffing slightly.

"Sonakshi, you are scaring me now. Please tell me what's the matter? Why are you crying?" he asked once again as Sonakshi looked at him.

"These are tears of happiness Dev. I am just so happy that I am able to spend and experience this moment with you" she said with all the love she held for him as Dev smiled.

"Be it tears of happiness or sadness I cannot see tears in your eyes Sonakshi" he said as Sonakshi smiled through her tears.

Slowly moving his hands towards her face, he wiped the tears away, he leant towards her as she closed her eyes as she lost herself in his proximity, he slowly moved his lip towards her eyes and kissed them one by one as Sonakshi savored the feeling of love, all this while a slight smile playing on each of their lips while a light soothing music playing in the background, Dev hugged her as her body perfectly fitted into his, both had finally found peace in each other.

After some time, they broke the hug as Dev held her hand "Come Let's go" he said and after paying the bill they left the place.

Dev and Sonakshi were standing beside Dev's car when Sonakshi said "Where are we going Dev?" as Dev replied, "That's a surprise" while Sonakshi pouted like a kid but seeing her like that he was losing control as he said "Sonakshi Don't....Don't do that else I will not be responsible for what happens next" he said, at first Sonakshi did not understand but as the realization dawned on to her she blushed and hit on his arms lightly "Shameless" she said as Dev laughed as he moved forward and opened the door.

"Dev, Can we ditch your car and go on my Activa" asked Sonakshi surprising Dev but the next moment he said "Sure, let's go" as both went towards Sonakshi's scooter. Putting on the helmet given by Sonakshi, Dev asked "Give me the keys"

"Dev, I will Drive" she said surprising him once again "Are you sure?" he asked as Sonakshi nodded her head in agreement as Dev replied, "Alright as you wish"

As Dev sat behind Sonakshi as an idea stuck in his mind as he smiled to himself, he slowly looped his hands around Sonakshi's waist. The moment he did that Sonakshi's breathe hitched as a shiver ran down her spine at his touch on her body, she wanted to speak but words failed her, gathering herself with great difficulty Sonakshi spoke.

"De...Dee...Devvvv" she fumbled while he smirked seeing his effect on her while Sonakshi tried to speak again "What...What are you doing?" she finished her sentence haphazardly.

"What their' s nothing to hold on to, that's why I am holding you so that I do not fall off as you drive" he replied innocently but the very next moment Sonakshi jerked his hand away and getting down from the scooter she moved away and turned her head away from Dev.

Dev was left shocked at her reaction, he mentally scolded himself for making her feel uncomfortable. "Sonakshi, I am really sorry to make you feel uncomfortable" he said as he hesitatingly touched her shoulders but his hand was roughly jerked away by her.

"Sonakshi, I am really sorry. I was just..." he said but the very next moment Sonakshi burst out laughing loudly befuddling Dev, he looked at her confused as after a few moments composing herself Sonakshi spoke "Mr. Dixit, do you think you are the only one who can joke, is it?" she said and laughed once again as Dev made an irritated face.

She moved forward, ruffled his hairs and pinching his nose she said "Dev, you look so cute when you have an irritated look on your face" as Dev replied, "Don't call me cute Sonakshi" as she laughed once again while Dev grew frustrated which Sonakshi did not miss.

Snaking her hands around his neck, looking in to his eyes she said "With you Mr.Dixit, I am comfortable with anything & everything" as she leaned forward and the next moment Dev leaned forward as well as they indulged in a soul searing kiss, they parted after sometime breathing heavily and took a while to catch their breathe.

"I don't know how I will control myself around you" said Dev as a blushing Sonakshi hit him lightly while he smiled. "Come let's go" he said as both sat on Sonakshi's scooter and left with Sonakshi driving and Dev directing her towards the place.

While at Bose house Elena and Jatin were tensed as to whether Sonakshi could express her love to Dev.

"Dada, do you think Sona would have confessed her love" said Elena as Jatin replied "I don't know Ele, I just hope she has confessed" he said as Elena nodded her head in agreement.

"But what if Dev does not accept her love?" asked Elena as in a flow Jatin replied "That's not possible Elena, Even Dev loves Sonakshi" he said but the very next moment cursed himself for letting out the truth, he hoped Elena would not have heard him but that did not happen.

"What do you mean Dada? Does that mean you already know that Dev loves Sona?" she asked instantly as Jatin nodded his head in a yes.

"Oh my god, Oh my god Dev loves Sona as well. Yes, yes now Sona's love story would be complete" she screamed but before Jatin could stop her someone spoke.

"What...Sona loves someone?" as both Elena and Jatin were left shocked.

On the other side, the situation was no different with Avni as well, she was on a call with Dadi "Dadi, do you think Dev would have expressed his feelings to Sonakshi" she asked in a concerned tone

"I don't know Avni, I hope Tilu has expressed his love to Sonakshi else I am not going to spare him" she said as Avni laughed lightly.

"By the way Avni, I had ordered a few things for the orphanage which have been delivered today. I will ask Dev to go to the orphanage on Sunday and give those. You be there as well" she said as Avni agreed to it. Hoping that the two love-birds unite they cut call.

Just as Dadi turned to leave her room after cutting the call, a couple of pair of eyes were staring at her with a questioning look on their faces.

"Dev, when did you realize that you love me?" asked Sonakshi, they were sitting in a park a little away from the city. Sonakshi had laid on her head with her hand on Dev's chest while he wound his arm around her waist, away from the hustle bustle of the city they had decided to spend some time with in just each other's company away from the world. The steady breeze already adding to the already serene setting.

"Well, though it was for quite some time that I felt that what's there between us was more than friendship, in fact that day at Kolkata airport when you were dragged away by Ritwik I felt jealous as well" he said as Sonakshi laughed bit and raised her head to look at him while he continued "But that day when you had left the office even after you had heard me, that was the day I realized that I loved you. Seeing you go away from me made me realize what you meant for me" he said with a smile as Sonakshi smiled as well fiddling with his Tee.

"When did you realize?" asked Dev as Sonakshi replied "Well, he case was same with me as well. Even I felt that what we shared was more than friendship but the day when I came to know you were the MD of the airlines that was the moment I realized that I loved you" she said as Dev smiled pecking her forehead.

"You know Sonakshi I had imagined this so many times in the past few days that I will propose you and then watch your reaction but you pulled it off before me" he said as Sonakshi blushed a little while Dev continued "But you know I need to thank one person who made me realize as gave me the courage to confess my love" said Dev as Sonakshi replied "Yes Dev even I need to thank someone"

And the next moment both said together "AVNI" as both looked at each other and burst out laughing after which they told each other about how Avni had talked to them giving them the courage and confidence to confess their love. Just then Sonakshi remembered something.

"Dev, I want to tell you something" she said while Dev sensed what she was about to say "About Jatin and Avni right" he said as Sonakshi was caught by surprise as both talked about their past.

"Dev, believe me Jatin is a good person, he made a mistake and repents it. Don't you think he should get a second chance?" she asked as Dev replied "I know Sonakshi, But Avni needs to take that decision whether she needs to rekindle their relationship or not. And honestly we should leave it to them to sort their issues but saying that we will try our level best to sort out their differences" he said as Sonakshi agreed to him. They spent some more time before leaving for their home.

Dev and Sonakshi were standing outside the Bose house, Dev had decided to drop Sonakshi to her home on her Activa and after that take an auto to get his car from the coffee house. They hugged each other after which Dev pecked Sonakshi's forehead before leaving promising to inform her once he reaches home.

But unknown to them someone was standing at the window of BOSE HOUSE observing the scenario that had unfolded before her eyes.

To be very honest I am absolutely pathetic in writing romantic scenes so I hope that those parts are not to cheesy & my sincere apologies if they have turned out so.
