Its Sundayand I am back with the next update🙂🙂🙂. My sincere apologies for the delay but I was caught up with my work.

"I WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH AVNI SIX YEARS AGO"

As soon as Sonakshi and Elena heard that they were left flabbergasted, Jatin was in love with a girl and they never knew about it.

"Jatin, You were in relationship with Avni?" asked Sonakshi again to reconfirm as Jatin nodded his head in agreement while Sonakshi said "Jatin, tell us everything about your relationship with Avni and I literally mean everything" she said sternly as Jatin spoke

"I had met Avni six years ago at a cultural fest which was being held at Delhi University. It was during one of the events that we got introduced and we became friends. Slowly our friendship started budding when I came to know she was an orphan and my respect for her increased because she never showed her sadness in front of the anyone and was a jolly person. I slowly realized that I had fallen in love with her but was scared to confess it, but you know the surprising part was even she had fallen in love with me and confessed it as well. And that's how our relationship started. Everything was going fine until one day" said Jatin and paused as tears glistened his eyes while both Sonakshi and Elena were surprised, they had never seen Jatin so vulnerable. They waited for him to continue which he did after some time.

"You remember the time when Nanu was very sick and he needed treatment which required quite a lot of money, one day I had heard Mesho and Maashi talking about it and then along with it mine and Elena's education expenses were there as well. I felt that me and Elena were burdening Mesho with our responsibility and then I felt that I could not concentrate on my career and was doing injustice to all the efforts of Mesho and Maashi due to my relationship with Avni. That's why I decided to break it and concentrate on my studies and career so that I can reduce Mesho's burden" said Jatin as Sonakshi and Elena were left shocked.

"Jatin, Are you Mad? Did Maa or Baba ever give you an indication that you guys were a burden on them? How can you be such a fool Jatin?" said Sonakshi as Jatin just looked down unable to meet her eyes while she added "Then what happened, what did Avni say?"

"When I told her she understood my situation and was ready to be by my side throughout and was ready to wait till I did not want to take our relationship forward, but I don't know what got into me I just wanted to end the relationship as I felt I was doing injustice to Maashi and Mesho's efforts and maybe to even Avni as I could not give her time. But Avni was adamant and seeing no other way to break the relationship as a last resort I berated her for being an orphan and that broke her completely" said Jatin as there was a stunned silence, never could they imagine their brother to stoop so low while Jatin was crying uncontrollably.

"Jatin, Do you even realize what you did? You not only broke her heart but her soul as well that day" said Sonakshi as Jatin replied "I know Sona and I regret it every day, believe me Sona I regret it everyday" he said sobbing as Sonakshi replied.

"And what about her belief and trust in you Jatin? You broke it brutally and not only that, you did not even give her a chance to decide about your relationship. You made the decision for both of you when she had an equal say in that" she said sonorously, she was very angry with Jatin.

"Dada, you know today I feel as if I am a culprit. I was the reason for which you broke the relationship with Avni" said Elena as tears glistened her eyes while Sonakshi held her. All this while Jatin just hung his head down, seeing which Sonakshi felt bad for him, she knew Jatin was not a bad person and probably was killing himself every day for breaking Avni's heart.

"Jatin, Do you really regret what you did and want Avni back in your Life?" she asked as Jatin nodded in affirmation.

"Alright, if that's the case the first ask for forgiveness from her. If she forgives you then we will forgive you as well and help you resurrect your relationship with her. But the decision to give your relationship a second chance or not will be purely her decision" she said with a smile as Jatin let a small smile out while Sonakshi continued "And in any case I do not want to miss out on an Awesome Boudi (Bhabhi), God Jatin how could you be so foolish?" she said and twisted his ears as he hissed in pain, just as Asha called the Trio for dinner. Asking Jatin once again to sort out matters with Avni the trio proceeded for their dinner.

At Dixit House

On the other hand, at Dixit House Avni was talking with Riya and Nikki when Dadi came back, she had gone to the hospital from Bose house and after making sure the kid was fine she returned home when she saw the Trio sitting on the sofa and chatting with each other, making her way towards them she spoke.

"Arey Avni, how come you are here today? When did you come?" she asked as the trio looked towards her.

"Dadi, Actually I had ordered a couple of dresses for these two. I came to give that. I was about to leave" she said as Dadi nodded her head.

"What's the matter Dadi, you look tired?" asked Avni as Dadi sat on the sofa just as Riya and Nikki got up.

"Dadi, I will get water for you. Nikki, you go and keep the dresses in our room" said Riya as Nikki nodded her agreement and both left. A few moments later Riya brought water for Dadi and after giving it to her she left for her room after bidding a goodbye to Avni.

"Dadi, you did not tell me. Why do you look tired?" asked Avni again.

"Wo...I had gone to the hospital Avni" she said but before she could continue Avni screamed.

"What? You went to the hospital? Why? Are you fine? Does anyone in the house know about it?" she rattled off her questions as Dadi interrupted.

"Calm down Avni nothing happened to me. Actually, Chirag got hurt while playing today" she said slowly knowing very well that Avni would get hysterical listening to that and that is what had exactly happened.

"What? Chirag got hurt, why didn't anyone inform me? How is he now Dadi?" she asked in a panicked tone as Dadi replied

"Relax Avni, he is fine now. His would has been dressed up and Doctor has advised a couple of days of rest for him. And I had told them not to inform you knowing you would be busy at work" she said as Avni relaxed and got up, she wanted to go to the orphanage and check on the kid.

"Avni, you remember my friend we met that day at the orphanage?" asked Dadi, though Leela was Jatin's Nani and even Avni knew it as well she did not mention it as she was not sure how Avni would react to Jatin's name.

"You mean Jatin's Nani?" asked Avni as Dadi smiled and nodded her head in agreement while Avni continued "So, what about her?" she asked as Dadi replied

"You know her grand-daughter works with our Airlines" she said as Avni replied "You mean Sonakshi, Yes I know that" said Avni as Dadi was caught by surprise, "You already know about her?" she asked in a surprised tone as Avni nodded in affirmation and said "In fact she was the one who had handled those unruly fliers the other day" she added as Dadi remembered the incident which Dev had mentioned to her.

"She's quiet a brave girl then" she said as Avni smiled "Yes, even Dev has the same opinion about her" she said, she knowingly praised Sonakshi so that Dadi would be impressed by her and Dev would find it easy when he would reveal about his love for her.

"Oh, So Dev already knows her? That's nice and I am sure he did not recognize her" she said as Avni was caught by surprise hearing her and asked.

"What do you mean Dadi? I mean how would Dev recognize her?" she asked in a astounded tone as Dadi smiled and then narrated the past to Avni who had an amazed look on her face, she could not believe that the two already had met each other in their childhood and today after twenty years the two were in love with each other unknown that they were already bonded by their childhood and perhaps by destiny too, She was very happy for the two as now she knew that it was only the matter of both letting each other know their feelings because given how both families were there would not be any problem in the acceptance of their relationship.

"Oh my God Dadi, this is unbelievable. I mean these two met each other in their childhood and today after 20 years both love each other" she said in flow in her excitement, unknowingly blurting out the truth while Dadi was flabbergasted, it took a couple of seconds for Avni to realize what she said.

"What did you say Avni? Both love each other?" Dadi said in a stern voice as Avni gulped in fear seeing her reaction "Dadi, Wo...Wo..." she stammered as Dadi once again asked in a cold tone "Tell me Avni, both love each other?" as Avni nodded her head slowly in agreement and then said "Dadi please do not tell Dev anything. In fact, he does not know that Sonakshi loves him nor does she know that Dev loves her" she said in a pleading tone as Dadi turned her face away in anger while Avni mentally scolded herself for putting Dev in a difficult situation.

She was about to speak to Dadi when she heard muffled sound as she looked towards she was left surprised as she saw Dadi trying to control her laughter and the very next moment Dadi burst out laughing while Avni was confused as Dadi calmed down and said "Just look at your face Avni, You are so scared" she said as Avni replied "You are not angry?"

"Why would I be angry Avni? In fact, I am really happy that these two love each other but  I am wondering how can these two be such fools, I mean they love each other yet have not confessed" she said as Avni sighed in relief and said "Daadi, You really scared me there" as she laughed again and said "Wait, Let me call Leela and tell her, I am sure she would be as thrilled as I am"

"Wait Dadi, I have a plan" said Avni as Dadi looked at her in surprise while she narrated her plan as Dadi laughed out and then agreed to her as both decided to execute their plan as Avni got up and bidding goodbye to Dadi she left for the Orphanage.

At Bose House

Sonakshi was sitting on her bed thinking about the happenings of the day when her phone buzzed with a message as she looked at who the sender was a smile formed on her lips, it was DEV.

D: Hey Hi, Awake?

S: Hi, Yes I am awake. Anything important?

D: Nothing much, Just wanted to confirm that we are tomorrow evening for a coffee?

S: Of course, We will 🙂

D: 🙂 I have booked a table for us at HEART CUP CAFÉ at 7 and will reach their directly

S: 🙂

D: Alright, waiting to meet you tomorrow 🙂.Bye Good night.

S: Good night 🙂🙂🙂

As their small chat ended a smile formed on Sonakshi's face as she spoke to herself "I can't wait to tell you about my feelings Dev", just then someone snapped fingers in front of her face bringing her out of her reverie

"What's the matter Madam, why are you smiling?" asked the person who was none other than Elena while Sonakshi looked everywhere but her.

"Sona, you know you cannot hide anything from me. So, before I pester you tell me what's matter?" she asked as Sonakshi sighed knowing how Elena would compel her to reveal everything.

"I am going for a Coffee with Dev tomorrow evening" she said and lowered her head to hide the blush that was forming on her face but hearing nothing from Elena she looked up at her only to find her gawking wide-eyed at her.

"Elena, say something" said Sonakshi and shook her as she came out of her trance.

"Oh my god, oh my god...You are going on a date with Dev and you are telling me now" Elena screamed and started jumping as Sonakshi held her and made her sit.

"Calm down Elena, its just a coffee" she said as Elena added "Correction Sona, it's a coffee date. Just the two of you. Sona, I am telling you. You will not get a better chance than this. Confess your love to Dev before its too late" she said as Sonakshi replied

"I will Elena, I will not let go of this chance. I will confess my love and then its upto Dev to accept it or not" she said

"That's like my sister" said Elena as she pulled Sonakshi's cheek and added "And think positive Sona, I am sure Dev will accept it" she said as Sonakshi smiled as both retired for the night but for Sonakshi sleep was far away in the excitement of the next day, it took quite a while before she drifted into the land of nod.

The next day passed in a blur for both Dev and Sonakshi. They were excited for their impending COFFEE DATE in the evening. As the evening approached Sonakshi dressed herself in her favorite kurti and matching accessories, keeping her make-up minimalistic she left for the Café. On the other side, dressed in a casual Tee and jeans Dev left as well. So excited were they that both reached the HEART CUP CAFÉ 15 mins. before time. Sonakshi was the first to reach and she was lead to the table which Dev had booked.

Just as she was about to sit she heard someone say "Seems like someone is very eager to meet me today" said the person who was none other than Dev who had just reached.

As Sonakshi looked at him she smiled but the next moment she said "Well, the same applies to you as well" as Dev smiled and ruffled his hair as both settled on the chairs.

"What will you have Sonakshi?" asked Dev "A Hazelnut latte" said Sonakshi as Dev ordered the beverages, turning towards Sonakshi he was about to speak but was beat to it by her.

"Dev, before talking anything I want to tell you something. I do not know how you will react to it, but I need to tell it to you else I will regret that I did not. From the first day we met at the airport there was something in you which always attracted me, maybe it was your simplicity, your humor, I don't know what it was but I was getting attracted to you every day. Then I came to know about your truth, first it hurt that you had hidden it but then I realized you never did it intentionally and then as I recollected all our moments my respect for you increased. I know you must be wondering why I am telling you all this so without stretching further I want to tell you something" she said as Dev looked at her in surprise while she slowly added.

"Dev Dixit, I LOVE YOU"
