Surprised, second update of the week🙂🙂🙂!!!Its Friday and I am back with the next update.🙂🙂🙂

"THEN WHY DON'T YOU CONFESS YOUR LOVE TO HIM? MAYBE YOU WILL GET THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS?"

As soon as Sonakshi heard that her eyes widened in shock, she quickly turned back to look who was it and the moment she saw the person she was shocked into silence, for a moment she was not sure whether she was dreaming or the person was really in front of her, for a brief moment she considered running away from there as she knew the person would definitely question her and she was in no position to give any answer, after all the person was none other than the best friend of the person she loved, AVNI. Sonakshi just closed her eyes in fear and embarrassment. Fear that Avni might tell Dev about it and embarrassed because of the way Avni came to know about her love for Dev. She stood quietly as Avni made her way towards Sonakshi.

"If you love him why don't you confess it, Sonakshi" she asked again as Sonakshi looked down unable to form any sentences to speak.

Seeing Sonakshi standing quietly Avni asked "Are you scared that he will reject your love?" she asked as Sonakshi shot her head up to look at Avni, though she did not speak anything Avni could make out what was going through Sonakshi's mind.

"Yes" said Sonakshi slowly after some time as Avni spoke "And why would be that? I mean why do you feel Dev will reject your love?" she asked as Sonakshi kept quiet and the spoke in low tone.

"Why would he love me, after all I am just a simple Flight attendant working in his firm. There's no match between us Avni" she admitted in a sad voice as Avni slapped her head in annoyance.

"And who told you that you are allowed to love someone only if your financial status matches, I mean for a girl like you who is fearless and confident sometimes you can really act like a fool Sonakshi" said Avni with a chuckle as Sonakshi's eyes widened in surprise, Avni was calling her a FOOL.

"You are calling me a Fool?" she asked in response as Avni replied "Then what else do I call you? Tell me did Dev ever gave you an indication that status matters to him, if that was the case why would he befriend you in first place Sonakshi" she said as it dawned to her what Avni was referring to, it was same thing which Dev had said to her, she looked down quietly as Avni looked at her closely.

"Wait a minute, Is that the reason why you are rejecting the opportunity to work in the AD. You fear that Dev will get to know about your feelings for him and reject you?" she asked as Sonakshi looked up and the look in her eyes conveyed it to the Avni that it was indeed the reason for her refusal.

"I cannot believe I am talking to the same girl who had the guts to confront some jerks and teach them a lesson" she said as tears made way from Sonakshi's eyes listening to Avni who passed some tissues to her, wiping her tears Sonakshi composed herself as Avni spoke.

"Look Sonakshi, never let your Personal life affect your professional one and vice-versa. Learn to keep them separate, It will help you in the long run" she said as Sonakshi nodded her head in agreement while Avni turned to leave but before going out looking at Sonakshi she spoke.

"Sonakshi It's your decision to work in the AD or tell your feelings to Dev but confess your love before it's too late. At least you will not regret that you did not try even if Dev does not have the same feelings for you" she said but the next line she spoke surprised Sonakshi to the core "But then you never know, maybe you will get the best gift of your life if you confess and another thing I will not tell anything to Dev but if you do not then I am not sure I can hide it from him for a long time" she winked at her and left not giving Sonakshi a chance to reply as Sonakshi went into her thoughts, What did Avni mean by the best gift? Does that mean even Dev...No..No..how is it possible? But then if it's true. Oh my God, what do I do now? Argh...No I will not let go of my love without trying, I will confess my love to Dev after that it's his decision...But what if he rejects...No..No..Sonakshi Do not think like that, be positive. Mr.Dev Dixit, I will confess my love to you and make sure that you accept It as well she decided confidently and smiled to herself as she went back to the cafeteria where Reena was waiting for her.

On the other side AT BOSE HOUSE both the septuagenarians were engaged in their talks, they were in the open-kitchen where Nani was preparing coffee for both while Dadi was leaning against the counter looking around the house when her vision fell on a Photo frame hanging on the wall just as Nani handed her the cup of coffee.

"So, that's your family?" said Dadi pointing at the photo as Nani looked towards it and smiled.

"Oh, See I am so forgetful. We have been talking for an hour yet we both don't know much about each other's family" said Nani as both chuckled, "Come, I will tell you about them" said Nani as both went towards the photo.

Pointing at the Photo Nani spoke "You already know Asha and Jatin. That's Bijoy my son-in-law and besides him are Saurabh and Ronita, my grandson and his wife. Now the two girls on either side of me are my grand-daughters. That's Elena, Jatin's sister and that's...." said Nani as she paused and looked towards Dadi with a smile and said "Well, can you tell who that is?" as Dadi looked at her confused.

"How would I know who she is, I have never met her before" said Dadi as Nani replied "Well, you have met her before and in fact had given her a nick name as well" as Dadi looked closely at the girl in the photo, after observing for a few seconds she spoke.

"Wait a minute, Is that CHUTKI?" she questioned as Nani nodded in agreement and replied "Yes, that's the nick name you had given to Sonakshi" she said as Dadi looked at the photo again, the 6 yr. old little girl that she had met 20 yrs. back at the marriage had grown up into a beautiful woman.

"Wow, Leela she has grown into a beautiful woman" said Dadi as Nani replied "Well, she is my grand-daughter after all" she said with a smirk as both the ladies chuckled.

"By the way How's your grand-son doing, what was his name...Yes...TILU" asked Leela as Dadi "Yes, that's what I call Dev in fact still call him that and he gets so irritated" as once again both the ladies guffawed once again.

"By the way do you remember how these two used to fight, in those seven days so many times they had complained about each other" said Dadi as both reminisced the past, after a few moments Nani replied "Yes, but after some time both used to be back together playing with each other" as Dadi nodded with a smile while she spoke.

"You know leela, Dev was so fascinated with the Bengali wedding, especially the SUBHO DRISTI (first meeting of the bride and groom on the wedding day) that he kept insisting that he will get married the same way" said Dadi and Nani chuckled and replied, "It was no different for Sonakshi, Nirmala"

"Leela, How time flies right. Both the kids have grown up today and it just seems like yesterday when they were kids" said Dadi as Nani nodded in agreement while Dadi continued "By the way where is CHUTKI, what is she doing now?"

"Oh, She has just started working a few days back as a flight attendant with MYSTIQUE AIRLINES" said Nani as Dadi's eyes widened in surprise, Sonakshi worked for their airlines as Nani continued "By the way where is TILU now a days, what is he doing?" just as Dadi was about to reply her phone rang, as she picked up the call her eyes widened listening to the caller, she quickly noted down an address as she cut the call.

"What's the matter Nirmala, Is everything Fine?" asked Nani as Dadi replied "Actually a kid got hurt while playing at the NGO Leela and even Ishwari is not in town so I need to go to the hospital immediately" she said keeping the coffee cup down and bid a goodbye to Nani.

Just before exiting Dadi turned and said to Nani "I will send Dev along with Avni on Sunday to the NGO, why don't you send Sonakshi along with Jatin. Let the two frenemies meet after so many years" she finished with a smile as Nani agreed to her, bidding her Dadi left for the hospital.

"I am ready to work in the AD, Avni" said Sonakshi as Avni smiled. Everyone had assembled in the conference room as instructed by Avni couple of hours after their afternoon meeting. Avni had asked Sonakshi about her decision to which Sonakshi gave her nod in acceptance.

"That's great Sonakshi, I am glad that you have agreed" said Avni as Sonakshi smiled while in all this there was one more person who was very happy and it was none other than Dev, as soon as he heard Sonakshi's decision his heart filled with joy, just then his eyes met Sonakshi's who was smiling at him while Dev showed a thumbs-up indicating his happiness at her decision while Sonakshi blushed a little happy that Dev was happy with her decision.

Avni then proceeded to brief them in detail about the AD, informing that a few more people would join them, the shooting was to start from the subsequent Monday the next week and would go on for the whole week with a few outdoor shots, after a few more instructions the meeting was called to an end.

"Thank you Avni" said Sonakshi hugging her as soon as everyone made their way out of the conference room while Avni replied with a smile "My pleasure Sonakshi" and continued "And don't be late in confessing you love" she said as Sonakshi smiled as both made their way out where Dev was waiting for them, he gestured Avni to leave him alone with Sonakshi for a moment which she obliged.

"Thank you Sonakshi for not letting our personal equation affect your career" said Dev as Sonakshi replied with a smile "No Dev, in fact I am sorry for behaving the way I did, I was just looking at things the wrong way, so thank you for helping me sort out my thoughts" as Dev smiled and after a brief moment he said.

"SONAKSHI, IF YOU ARE FREE TOMORROW EVENING CAN WE GO OUT FOR A COFFEE" he said in anticipation as she was caught by surprise for a moment but regaining her composure she replied, "I SURE WILL DEV" as both smiled, bidding each other a goodbye they left for their respective works.

"So, what did you talk to her?" asked Avni as soon as Sonakshi left while Dev answered her after listening to him Avni said "This is the perfect opportunity to express your love to her buddy, Don't delay it" as Dev replied "YES, I WILL AVNI" after which both left for their home.

"Are you telling us or do you want me to call Avni and ask her?" asked Sonakshi with hands on her hip as Elena stood beside her as Jatin looked down guiltily.

After Sonakshi had reached home, she had informed everyone about the opportunity she was presented with making everyone happy. After freshening up she informed Elena about what Jatin had said about hurting Avni making Elena angry as well at her brother's act, the both had gone to Jatin's room to know about the whole thing but he sat quietly which prompted Sonakshi to threaten him with Avni's name.

"How can you hurt her Jatin, I mean she is such a wonderful girl. Anyone would be lucky to know her in person and you hurt her. How could you? Now are you going to tell us what you did that hurt her and more importantly why you did that? She said but Jatin remained quiet seeing which Sonakshi continued "Seems like you are not going to tell, Let me call Avni" she said and took her phone to call Avni but the very next moment Jatin spoke.

"No, No Sonakshi Don't call her. I am telling you please do not call her" he said in a pleading tone as she obliged and along with Elena waited for him to speak.

"I WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH AVNI SIX YEARS AGO"
