Its Wednesday and I am back with the next update 😀😀😀...!!! My sincere apologies for the delay as I was caught up with work.

As the Trio of Dev, Avni and Jatin watched the news they were shocked to the core. The video was being played on loop as they saw Sonakshi slap the passenger while another Flight attendant stood near her, on a closer look Dev and Avni realized that it was none other than Reena, as the news ended the same name escaped the mouth of the trio.

"SONAKSHI" they said at the same time as Jatin look towards them in surprise, while Dev did not seem much surprised as he knew the relation that Jatin & Sonakshi shared but Avni was clearly surprised.

"How do you know Sonakshi?" asked Jatin the duo.

"Mr. Roy, She works for our airlines so we are bound to know about her but how do you know Sonakshi?" it was Avni who replied

"She's my cousin Ms. Rastogi. My maternal aunt's daughter, in fact I stay with them" said Jatin as Avni looked surprised while Dev just kept quiet, the news had baffled him to no end.

"Dev, there's definitely some misunderstanding. Something might have happened on the flight which must have prompted Sonakshi to take such a step. Please do not take any decision in haste" said Jatin in a concerned tone, worried for his sister.

"Jatin I understand your concern as a brother, but this is a matter concerned with our Airlines, so I would appreciate if you could please stay out of this" said Dev, though he could understand Jatin's concern, yet he was an outsider and Dev did not want his interference in the matter. He was trying to keep his calm.

"Dev, But she is my sister" said Jatin as Dev replied "As I have already said I understand your concern Jatin, rest assured if she hasn't done any mistake then there will be no action taken against her but if she is in the wrong then unfortunately we will have to take some tough decision" Jatin kept quiet listening to Dev who was right from his point of view.

"Jatin, now if you please excuse us we will have to end this meeting here" said Dev as Jatin nodded but before leaving he requested them to not take any hasty decision and left.

As soon as Jatin left Dev slumped down on his seat, slight tears were glistening his eyes as Avni was astounded seeing her friend, she went towards him "Dev, Don't worry everything will be sorted" she tried to reassure him as she kept her hand on his shoulder. She could understand what Dev was going through, on one hand the reputation of the airlines was at stake but then the person in the center of the controversy was none other than Sonakshi, though Dev could not understand his feelings till now but Avni knew her friend was in love, but before he could decipher his feelings this unfortunate incident had thrown him into turmoil. But she also knew she could not let his personal life affect his professional decisions. And this was one such situation.

Just then the cabin door opened and in walked Rajeev Dixit, CEO of MYSTIQUE AIRLINES & Dev's father.

"Dev, Avni. What's happening? I just saw the news. Do you guys have any idea about it?" asked Rajeev looking towards them, but he was surprised to see Dev sitting morosely.

"Dev, what happened?" he added as Dev got up hurriedly wiping his tears.

"Nothing Sir, even we got to know about this just now" he replied as Rajeev nodded, even though Rajeev was his Dad still Dev was always professional when they were at office.

"Sir, what do we do now?" it was Avni who asked, though she was close to the Dixits just like Dev she always tried to maintain a Professional relationship at the office.

"Firstly, we need to find out more about the incident before taking any decisions. Avni I want you to find out who the passenger was. Also find out where the Cabin crew on the flight are currently. We do not want the press to hound anyone of them" said Rajeev as Avni nodded and left the cabin just as Rajeev's secretary came in hurriedly.

"Sir, the editors from the news channels are calling continuously for your reaction. Also, there are a few journalists who are at the reception" she said quickly as Rajeev sighed exasperatingly, he knew it was a matter of time before the press would be behind them, he needed to act quickly.

"Sir, we need to release a statement before the press makes up their own theories which will damage our reputation" said Dev as Rajeev nodded

"Shruti, Inform the press that we will release a statement in half an hour. Also send Christo to Dev's Cabin" said Rajeev to his secretary. Christo Fernandes was the Public Relations & Communications head at the Airlines.

As Shruti left Dev and Rajeev discussed on the way forward, after few minutes Christo joined them as well. After 10 minutes Avni walked into the cabin with the information that Rajeev had asked for.

"Sir, the passenger involved was Mr. Kushal Shah, in fact he was traveling with another person Mr. Niel Verma and both had occupied seats 6B & 6C on the Chandigarh bound flight" as the people in the room nodded while Avni added "And the cabin crew in the flight are returning to Delhi in another half an hour on the return bound flight from Chandigarh" she said as everyone absorbed the information she had shared contemplating on the action to be taken.

Dev looked at Rajeev as he nodded in agreement. Dev got up and called someone "Hello Is it Ayan?, Its Dev Dixit here" he said, Dev had called up Ayan Mishra, the Airport manager for the Airlines at Delhi Airport.

"Hello Sir, It's Ayan here. Please tell me how I can help you?" asked Ayan as Dev replied

"Ayan, In another half an hour the flight from Chandigarh will land in Delhi. I want you to make sure that the Flight crew is directly escorted out of the Airport, ask them to switch off their phones and not speak to anyone until we give a go ahead. Also make sure they do not face any discomfort and if they ask anything tell them that they will be briefed once they arrive at the head quarters here. Is that understood?" said Dev in an authoritative tone.

"Sure Sir, Can I know why..." replied Ayan but before he could continue Dev interrupted "Please do what you have been told Ayan" he spoke in a high tone as Ayan shuddered in fear listening to him "Sure Sir" he said as Dev cut the call.

"Dev, The families of the crew members will be worried if they cannot talk to them. I am sure by now their families would have known about the incident" said Avni as Rajeev along with Dev and Christo nodded in agreement.

"Avni, do one thing" said Dev and proceeded to tell her what to do, after which the four of them finalized on the statement that was to be released to the press in some time.

"Saurabh, were you able to contact Sona?" asked Bijoy worriedly, right from the time they had seen the news they were trying to get in touch with Sonakshi, but her phone was switched off as she was in the flight.

"No Dad, seems like she is still in the flight" said Saurabh as Bijoy sighed frustrated that he could not get through to his daughter.

"Bijoy, Don't worry. Sona will be fine, I am sure there's no mistake of her" said Nani trying to calm him down

"How do I not worry Maa, I know Sona would not do anything wrong. But these news channels, they are already showing her as culprit" said Bijoy as Nani & Asha nodded, the press had already passed a decision.

"Bijoy.." said Asha but the phone rang at the same time, Bijoy picked up the call and as he spoke further he was left speechless. He kept down the phone, worry was clearly written on his face.

"What's the matter Bijoy? Why do you look worried? Who was it?" asked Asha in concern

"Bijoy why are you quiet? Who was it?" asked Nani seeing him silent

"Maa, It was a call from Sona's office. They have said that they will be taking all the crew members on the flight to the headquarters for enquiring about the incident and during this time we will not be able to speak to Sona. They have asked us to not to speak to anyone especially if someone from the press calls for knowing about the incident. They were trying to assure me that everything will be fine and not worry about Sona" he said as everyone looked astounded.

"Baba look at the positive side. They are not taking any hasty decisions which is a good thing. I am sure everything will be fine" said Ronita as everyone nodded, too shocked to speak at the turn of the events with only one hope in their heart that Sonakshi comes out the situation.

In the mean time a press statement was released by MYSTIQUE AIRLINES

"Following the incident of today morning that had occurred on FLIGHT MA-243 from Delhi to Chandigarh, MYSTIQUE AIRLINES would like to apprise that the enquiry about the incident has already been started and more details about it are been looked upon. An internal committee of 3 members has been formed to look at all the possible angels that had led to this, we assure that appropriate action will be taken against those who will be found guilty. We at MYSTIQUE AIRLINES pride ourselves for our customer service and we assure our fliers that this incident will have no bearing on that, instead we will strive to improve it. We request our fliers not let their opinion about our Airlines deteriorate because of this one-off incident. Also, we would request the Press to respect the Privacy of the people involved in this incident and we refute all the baseless allegations that have been put forward by the Press since the incident was first reported. Another statement will be released once all the enquiry about this incident is concluded and request everyone not to believe any reports unless it has been released by the Airlines."

As the statement played out everyone sighed in relief, they were seated in Rajeev's cabin. They were relieved that temporarily the problem had settled down but there was still a lot to be done. Rajeev Dixit had used his contacts to pull down the video from the net as well as from the newsrooms. Just then Dev's phone rang, he picked up the call and spoke to the person.

"They have arrived and will be here in another half an hour" spoke Dev as he cut the call, it was Ayan who had called him to inform about the arrival of the flight and its crew. He also informed that there was a changeover of Pilots at Chandigarh, it was decided that a video-con will be arranged to speak to them about the incident.

"Good, I want you three to get to the root cause and inform me about it. We will decide after that" said Rajeev authoritatively as the Trio of Dev, Avni & Christo nodded in agreement after which Rajeev left for his cabin as they waited for the crew to arrive.

"It's all my mistake. I should not have said anything about this to anyone" sobbed Reena, they were on the way to the headquarters after been instructed by Ayan as Dev wanted. Reena blamed herself for the incident that had occurred while everyone tried to console and assure her that there was no mistake of her in whatever happened.

"Reena, I am telling you for the last time. It was not your mistake, please stop worrying about it. We will tell everything as it occurred, and I am sure we will be listened to before any decision is taken" said Sonakshi as Reena sobbed continuously.

"But Sona..." she spoke but was quietened by Sonakshi as she hugged her.

After some time, they arrived at their destination, the crew was escorted inside and told to wait inside the conference room till the committee arrived, a few moments later the door of the conference room was opened as three people entered it as everyone looked at them but as soon as they saw them Reena and Sonakshi were stunned, AS STANDING BEFORE THEM ALONG WITH A THIRD UNKNOWN PERSON WERE DEV AND AVNI.
