Surprised 😀😀😀...I am back with the next update!!! The reason for this early update has been mentioned in the note at the end, please do read it.

While on one hand Dev and Sonakshi were lost in their thoughts about the relationship they shared far away there was someone who was lost in the past and it was none other than Avni, she had decided to spend the night at the Dixit house with the sisters in the hope of coming out of her past which had resurfaced after six years. She was sitting on the swing placed in the lawn as her thoughts went back to the conversation she had with Jatin this afternoon at the Orphanage....

After Dadi had introduced Ishwari to everyone Avni had left from there to play with the kids, seeing it as an opportune moment Jatin as well followed her in the hope of striking a meaningful conversation. Ever since he met Avni after so many years the hope of getting his love back had resurrected and he was ready to do anything for it. While Avni was playing with the kids Jatin was again lost in her giggles and innocence, but he composed himself and went to her.

"Avni, I wanted to speak to you?" he said, even though she had made it very clear to him that she did not want to speak anything about the past but Jatin was not going to give up so easily.

"Mr.Roy, if its anything apart from work then I am not interested in talking about it. In fact, I do not want to speak about work as well as I do not work on Sundays" she spoke in a cold tone as Jatin smiled internally, she was still the same headstrong girl whom he fell in love with.

"Avni, please listen to me once, if not for anything else at least for the sake of the relationship which we had shared please listen to me once" he said in a pleading tone as Avni softened a bit at the mention of it, it was the most beautiful phase of her life. Seeing Avni quiet Jatin felt confident and continued.

"Avni, I know you hate me but believe me when I say this. The day we had ended our relationship I regret it every day. In fact, if I could go back in time I would have never allowed that to happen but what has happened is the past and I am sorry about it, but do you think we can give our relationship another chance" he said as he saw Avni stiffen a bit but the next moment she turned towards him, anger was visible on her face.

"Jatin, what gave you the impression that I will give our relationship another chance. If you have forgotten let me remind you it was you who had decided to end our relationship and today, you want us back. Do you think I am a toy who can be played with according to your whims and wishes?" she spoke sonorously as Jatin was left tongue tied listening to her which was indeed the truth.

"Avni, I know I made a mistake and I feel guilty about it, but you know the reason for my decision. I know it was an immature decision but...." he spoke but before he could continue Avni interrupted him

"It was not about being immature Jatin, it was about the trust you had in me. Tell me Jatin had I ever forced our relationship on you, in fact I had never asked for your commitment as well. All I wanted was to share your responsibilities, your journey but what did you do. You felt our relationship was a burden on you and decided to end it without even giving it a chance. And today you want us to be back together. Why what has changed in so many years that you don't feel it as a burden anymore?" she said angrily as tears flowed from her eyes unabashed recollecting the past as Jatin was left speechless once again, but his heart wrenched when he saw her crying, forgetting everything he took her into a bone crushing hug as Avni did not say anything except wetting his shirt with her tears but as soon as she realized what was happening she just pulled out of the hug and pushed Jatin away from her.

"How dare you Jatin?" she screamed as Jatin was taken aback "Avni, I was just...." he said as Avni interrupted "Jatin, don't you dare touch me again else the consequences would be bad. Let me make one thing very clear to you, we are sharing only a professional relationship now do not expect anything more than that" she said and turned to leave, as Jatin kept looking at her but Avni turned back once again and said " And another thing Jatin if Dev ever comes to know that I have cried and the reason for that was you then you can jolly well forget this deal" as Jatin looked stunned, their personal problems were spilling over their professions but something was gnawing his mind ever since he had met Avni once again and he could not control asking it to Avni.

"Avni, just tell me one thing. Have you moved on?" he asked as Avni glared at him, she did not feel it was necessary to answer him as she turned to leave but the next thing he said made her stop in her tracks "Have you moved on with Dev?" as Avni turned back angrily and walked towards him.

"Listen Jatin, if you do not know anything about the relationship I share with Dev better keep your mouth shut, I am sure you do not want this deal to be off right?" she said and stormed from their as Jatin kept looking longingly at her retreating figure, sad that things had taken turn for the worse.

But unknown to them there were two people who had watched the whole scene unfold before them and had decided to untangle the complications in the relationship of their kids.

So lost was Avni in her thoughts that she did not see Dadi who was standing for the past of minutes.

"What's the matter Avni?" asked Dadi as Avni came out of her thoughts and replied " Huh, Dadi. Nothing" as Dadi looked closely at her.

"Thinking about Jatin?" she said as Avni was dumbfounded listening to her and said " But how do you ....."

"I along with Leela had heard your conversation with Jatin" said and sat beside Avni, "What's the matter Avni? You would not tell your Dadi?" she asked as Avni laid her head on Dadi's lap and started crying unable to control the tears that was surging through her as Dadi kept caressing her. After some time she told Dadi about the past. Dadi understood her situation and advised her to give herself sometime before taking any decision.

On the other hand, the situation was no different with Jatin, he had bared his heart out to Nani who advised him to take things slow and not pester Avni forcing her into a relationship as it would only worsen the situation, with varying thoughts the two lonely souls immersed themselves into the land of nod.

The next day passed in jiffy with everyone busy with their work. While Dev was still in Kolkata returning to Delhi the next day, Sonakshi was already back to Delhi by evening after her flight duties were completed for day. She was sitting in her room chatting with Dev, it had almost become a routine for them to chat with each other informing about their whereabouts as well as discuss their day, unknowingly both were becoming an integral part of each other's life, a constant smile was playing on her lips as she chatted with Dev unknown to the fact that for the past five minutes someone was observing her carefully, it was none other than Elena who was surprised that her sister was smiling foolishly looking at the phone but then guessed the reason for it.

"You are talking with Dev?" she asked as Sonakshi was startled for a second but regaining her composure she said.

"What...What did you say?" Sonakshi replied trying to confirm she heard

"I asked whether you were talking with Dev?" asked Elena again as Sonakshi looked embarrassed

"No, not at all...." She fumbled but something suddenly caught her attention "Just a momet, How do you know about Dev?" she asked confused as Elena smirked at her but kept quiet.

"Tell me, How do you know about Dev?" she asked again impatiently as Elena answered

"Drishti said it to me" she said as Sonakshi looked surprised

"This girl I say, she can't keep anything with herself" said Sonakshi irritated that Drishti had spilled the beans about Dev to Elena

"Leave all that Sona but you have hurt me lot" said Elena sadly as Sonakshi looked at her surprised and asked "What are you saying Ele? When Did I hurt you?"

"So much had happened between you and Dev. And you did not tell me anything about it. How could you Sona, I am your best friend before being your cousin and you hid it from me" said Elena dramatically faking sadness which was unknown to Sonakshi

"Ele, please believe me there's nothing between me and Dev. We are just friends Ele" she said trying to convince her sister who was in no mood to understand

"Oh, is it Sona? Have you seen the blush on your face whenever I take Dev's name" said Elena as Sonakshi unknowingly blushed again which did not go unnoticed by Elena, seeing the opportune moment she said.

"Sona, if there is nothing between you two then tell me everything that has happened between you guys right from the time you met and I mean everything" she said as Sonakshi was left speechless, seeing no other way she narrated everything right from the time they met to their last meeting yesterday night along with her confusion regarding Dev.

"Oh my god Sona, So much has happened and you tell me you have not fallen for him yet?" said Elena as Sonakshi kept quiet.

"Sona, what you have said right now all indicate towards one thing" said Elena as Sonakshi waited with bated breath waiting for her to continue "That you are in love with Dev, but you have not realized it yet. I hope you realize it before it's too late" as Sonakshi looked astounded while Elena went ahead and covered herself with the Duvet as she slept.

While Sonakshi on the other hand was sleepless thinking about both Drishti's and Elena's words, were they saying the truth, yes she knew what she shared with Dev was more than friendship but was it Love. WAS SHE REALLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH DEV. She smiled thinking about it, hugging her pillow she drifted into her sleep.

The situation with Dev was no different, he had taken an early morning flight and reached Delhi the next day. Without wasting time, he headed to the office in the hope of immersing himself into work and avoid all the thoughts about Sonakshi was he was unsuccessful. He was sitting in his cabin mindlessly rotating the paperweight when Avni entered his cabin but was surprised to see her friend all lost.

"Dev, Dev What happened?" asked Avni as Dev came out of his thoughts ad said.

"Nothing...Nothing Avni" he said but Avni knew there was something more "Dev, Do you really think that you can hide it from me. Come on, spill the beans?" she said as Dev sighed, he knew he could not hide it from Avni. He narrated everything to her as Avni's eyes widened listening to him, she smiled as Dev finished.

"Dev, All this indicate only one thing" she said as Dev waited impatiently for her to continue "You have fallen in love with Sonakshi" she said as Dev was stunned into silence

"What, How can it be Avni. I mean, How can I fall in love?" he blabbered as Avni chuckles seeing her friend's state, she pulled his cheek and said "Dev, Don't worry you will realize you feeling soon. I hope its not too late before that though" as Dev kept quiet unable to comprehend his feelings. WAS HE REALLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH SONAKSHI.

"By the way we have a meeting with Jatin in sometime" she said trying to change the topic, but as Dev heard Jatin's name something stuck his mind.

"Avni, Are you fine?" he asked as Avni looked at him surprised while Dev continued "Dadi called me yesterday and told me everything about what happened between you and Jatin at the Orphanage" he said as Avni had slight tears in her eyes seeing the concern in Dev's eyes. She thanked god that she had such a lovely friend in Dev and awesome family in the Dixits.

"Avni, if you want I can cancel the contract right away. Nothing is more important than you" said Dev as Avni said "No Dev, I do not want my personal problems to be a hindrance in our Professional work" as Dev nodded just as Dev's secretary informed about Jatin's arrival, asking her to send him in the trio started working on the project once Jatin came and settled into the room.

The trio were working continuously for the past One hour when suddenly Dev's secretary barged into the room panting catching all the three by surprise. Before Dev could ask she said "Sir, Please switch on the TV, it's something very serious" as Dev quickly switched on the TV.

But what they saw on the TV stunned them in to silence as they saw the news....

"Breaking now on TV24, Is this the way Airlines deal with their flyers. As you can see in the video shared by a passenger with MYSTIQUE AIRLINES flight to Chandigarh, two flight attendants have man handled a man flying with them, In fact one of them has slapped the Man as you can see. Is this how the passengers are treated in the best Airlines of Asia, Who is answerable for this?" said the news anchor as their was stunned look on the faces of everyone in the room but what shocked them was that the flight attendant who had slapped the passenger was none other than SONAKSHI BOSE.
