Firstly my sincere apologies for posting late and thank you everyone for the votes & comments, Thank you for encouraging me, really means a lot. Though a few more votes would not hurt🙂🙂🙂 . Without further adieu here's the first part.

At Dixit House

As Dev walked down the stairs after freshening up the scene in front of him warmed his heart, his family was seated on the dining table chatting & pulling each other's leg as they waited for him to join them for lunch. As he made his way towards them his grandmother was the first to see him.

"Arey Tilu, aa gaya tu" said his grandmother Nirmala (henceforth addressed as Dadi)

Dev bent down and touched his grandmother's feet as she blessed him "Dadi, ab main bada ho gaya hoon aur ek company ka MD hoon ab toh aap mujhe Tilu mat bulaiye" said Dev getting irritated though secretly he liked how his grandmother addressed him as it showed her love but then it would give his sisters the chance to pull his leg.

"Beta, Tu kitna bhi bada ho jaye mere liye toh hamesha mera chota sa Tilu hi rahega" said his dadi lovingly as she caressed his cheek and as if on que his sisters spoke together "Haan kitna accha naam toh hai, Tilu bhaiyaa" they giggled as Dev glared at them.

"Khabar daar, Jo mere potey ko sataya toh. Usey Tilu sirf main bulaungi. Samajh gayi tum dono" said Dadi to Riya & Nikki as the whole family laughed out loud except Dev who sat down in anger. Seeing his anger everybody suddenly kept quiet but very moment Dev burst out laughing hysterically seeing the scared expressions of his family members as they joined him in his laughter.

"Arey kis baat pe has rahe ho aap sab?" as everyone turned around they saw Avni walking in with Ranveer asking them the reason for their laughter.

Every Sunday these two used to join the Dixits for their lunch as they used to stay alone. While Ranveer's family who were also the Family friends of the Dixits stayed in Kanpur because of his father's business Avni was an orphan, she had lost her parents in a train accident when she was 6 years old and then her grandparents who where quite old could not take care of her, worried for her future they left her in an orphanage "ZINDAGI", the orphanage that Ishwari handled. It was here that Dev had first met her and instantly they had become the best of friends and with Ranveer these three formed the three musketeers right from their childhood. Dev had insisted both to stay with the Dixits, but they refused. While Ranveer reasoned his irregular work hours as a pilot for not staying with them Avni wanted to stay at the Orphanage, it held a lot of memories for her and being with the kids gave her a sense of purpose to do well in her life and do something for the kids. Respecting their decision, the Dixits had agreed but on the condition that every Sunday both would join them for lunch.

"Avni Didi, wo Dadi bhaiya ko Tilu bula rahi thi aur bhaiya apna muh phulake baithey huey they toh usi baat pe hass rahe they hum" replied Nikki as both Avni & Ranveer chuckled while Dev frowned at them.

"Arey Avni ye tum apna Office bag aur laptop saath main kyun layi ho" this time Rajeev asked her as he saw Avni with her work bag.

"Kya karoon Uncle Ye aapka Beta mujhsey Sunday ke din bhi kaam karwa raha hai, isi ki wajah se mujhey ye sab yahan lana pada" complained Avni as Dev glared at her.

"Matlab?" Rajeev asked turning towards Dev.

"Wo Papa, kal hum apney Mumbai headquarters jaa rahe hai naa. Usi ke silsile main mujhey kuch cheezay finalize karni thi toh usi ke silsiley main mainney Avni ko yeh files laaney ko kaha tha" Dev replied looking sheepishly at his mother because he knew what was about to come.

"Dev, Main ney tujhsey kitni baar kaha hai ki office ke kaam ko ghar mat laya kar aur khas kar chutti ke din to Bilkul nahi" chided Ishwari.

"Haan Aunty, Dekhiye naa main ney kitna aacha plan banaya tha ki aaj lunch ke baad hum sab movie dekhney jaayenge aur uske baad saath main Dinner karenge lekin iss Dev ke bachey ne saara plan chaupat kar diya" Ranveer complained this time.

"Maa, bohut important kaam hai, bas aaj ek din phir kabhi nahi karunga, Pakka promise" said Dev as he held his throat trying to convince his mother.

"Accha, theek hai kaam ki baatein toh hoti rahengi. Tum dono baitho khana khaney" said Dadi bringing an end to the conversation as everyone sat down for their lunch.

"Waisey Dev, aaj tu itney der sey kyun utha" asked Ishwari remembering that Dev had woken up late and asked him the reason for the same.

Before Dev could reply, Riya piped in "Wo kya hai naa Maa, Bhaiya naa kisikey sapney dekh rahe they kyun ki hum jab uthaney gaye they toh wo neend main smile kar rahe they aur humarey bar bar bulaney par bhi uth nahi rahe they"

Dev who was having his food suddenly coughed out listening to what Riya said as Dadi caressed his back to reduce his coughing and handed him the glass of water while everyone looked at him astonished.

"Kya bol rahi hai Riya tu. Dadi ye Riya ki bachchi kuch bhi bol rahi hai. Wo, Wo main, Haan kal raat der se soya tha kaam karney ke baad isiliye aaj der se utha" Dev fumbled while everyone laughed seeing at his flushed condition.

"Waisey Dev, sach sach bata koi ladki hai kya. Agar hai to bata de. Dekh ab teri Shaadi ki umra ho gayi hai toh agar koi hai to bata de hum teri shaadi karwa denge" teased his Dadi.

Dev looked wide eyed at her in shock, recovering from it he replied "Ye kya bol rahi hai aap dadi, shaadi aur meri" as everyone laughed out loud while Dadi gave him a teasing look.

Completing the rest of their lunch, everyone left for their respective works. While Dev & Avni went to the study to complete their work. Ranveer, Nikki & Riya left for their room for playing video game as the elders left for their siesta.

At Bose House

As Sonakshi walked down after completing her morning chores she went towards her Dida who was sitting on the couch. Hugging her from behind she said "Good morning Dida"

"Good morning Bachha, Uth gayi tu" Leela (henceforth addressed as Dida) said as she caressed Sonakshi's hair. "Waisey aaj Uthney main kafi late hogaya" she asked her.

Just as Sonakshi was about to reply, Elena who was just entering the living room said "Wo kya hai na Dida, madam subah subah kisi key sapney dekh rahi thi. Main ney jab issey uthaya toh mujhe bhi daant rahi thi ki mainey issey itney achey sapney se jaga diya" as Sonakshi gave her a angered look while Dida was controlling her laughter looking at the flushed face of her granddaughter.

"Accha, bata na Sona kaun tha wo" teased dadi as Sonakshi ducked her head down. "Kya Dida, aap bhi, yeh Elena ki bacchi kuch bhi bolti hai" she said as Dida and Elena chortled.

"Waisey baaki log kahan hai" asked Sonakshi trying to divert the topic.

"Maashi kitchen main hai aur Jatin bhaiya unki help kar rahe hai. Mesho garden main, aur Saurav Dada aur Ronita Boudi ye rahe" said Elena as she rattled out everyone's whereabouts.

"Good morning Dada, Good morning Boudi" said Sonakshi as she turned around and walked towards them as she hugged Ronita lightly who was 5 months pregnant. Moving towards her baby bump Sonakshi kept her ear on Ronita's protruded tummy and in a baby voice spoke "Good morning chotu baby, aapney raat ko acchi tarah nini ki" as everyone smiled listening to her childish talks with the unborn baby.

"Elena Jaakey apne Mesho ko bula la lunch ke liye" said Dadi

As everyone moved towards the dining table. Asha & Jatin came out with the dishes, keeping those on the table Jatin spoke loudly "Suno suno suno, aaj ka Jatin special lunch Muri Ghonto, Aloo poshto aur Lau chingdi. Jaldi aaiye warna baad main pachtaiye" as everyone giggled. Sonakshi hit him and said "Chila kyun rahe ho Jatin, sab yahi hai hum sabko achi tarah sunayi aur dikhai bhi deta hai" as Jatin replied "To tujhey kaun bol raha hai Sukdi, main to mere beautiful Dida ko bol raha tha" said Jatin as he held Dida's hand while Sonakshi started hitting him for calling her thin.

Just then Bijoy arrived and everyone settled down for their lunch.

"Aur Sona, excited for tomorrow" asked Bijoy.

"Haan Baba, bohut excited hoon aur poori tarah ready hoon" replied Sonakshi. It was her first day as a flight attendant tomorrow. She had joined "MYSTIQUE AIRLINES" a month back and after a month of training she will be flying as a flight attendant for the first time tomorrow. It was her first job and a dream job as well as she was working the best airlines in Asia.

"Arey Baba, excited kyun nahi hogi. Aakhir iska first flight jo hai aur wo bhi Mumbai ko" said Saurav while at the same time Elena said dreamily "The city of dreams"

"Waise Sona suna hai Mumbai main ek alag hi energy hai aur bohot heritage structures bhi hai toh unhe dekhna mat bhoolna" said Ronita.

"Boudi, Main wahan kaam pe jaa rahi hoon sight seeing ke liye nahi ur sirf ek din hi rahoongi kyunki return flight agle din hai" said Sonakshi

"Tu kahi jaa ya naa jaa, lekin fashion street jaana mat bhoolna. Suna hai wahan latest trends ke kapdey aur fashion accessories miltey hai, toh mere liye leke aana" said Elena as everybody chuckled. "Waise shopping se yaad aaya, Jatin bhaiya aap aaj humey Chandni chowk leke jaa rahe hon a shopping ke liye" she added looking at Jatin who looked stared at horror as he knew that taking the girls around for shopping would not only burn a hole in his pocket but he would be a part time coolie holding their shopping bags while they enjoyed. Everyone just laughed out looking at his expressions. The rest of the Lunch was completed, and the siblings proceeded for their shopping.

While the rest of the day passed with Dev working and Sonakshi shopping, they had their Dinner and proceeded to their beds for their sleep. While both were lying down on their beds trying to fall asleep their was only one thought going on in their minds "Kya aaj phir se mujhe so sapna aayega"

Done, How was it??. Frankly, I am really nervous as this my first attempt at writing something different. I know maybe this part is a bit boring as there are no Devakshi scenes but this since this is the first part, it just sets up the story.
