Chapter 42
“If I am the beginning, I am the end, if I can create, I can destroy!” She growled, if death ever had a voice it would be hers in this moment.
A wave of terror washed over everyone making them tremble where they stood.
A growl passed thorough her mouth making her glare at everyone.
People she once considered her own had been the reason of her own destruction.
But was she the only girl who was killed by her own people?
Would she be the only one?
The answer was clear as day, No.
Time and again women are sacrificed in every yuga. Wronged at every step. When will all this end?
No one knew, her breathing coming out in short pants as she roared a battle cry.
Her eyes turned blood red, while her hands tightened on her weapon.
She glared at the man ahead of her, running towards Bhringu, who was frozen in place fear in incapacitating him.
At every point in his life, he had disrespected woman.
Humiliated them, for he always took their patience as their weakness. Not every silence meant weakness, some just meant patience.
The blood red eyes of Kali met Bhringu’s, making him stumble back.
His heart hammering in his ribcage.
Tremors passed through his body, while terror clutched his heart in it's sharp claws.
"See Bhringu, the woman that you consider as dirt under your feet is standing in front of you as your death! Today with your end, I will also end the thinking that woman is weak! Remember Bhringu you too are born and brought up by us women! If one of us can give birth to you than don't for a moment doubt that we can't kill you. Men like you think that woman are nothing but dirt, yet you all are deepened on your mothers, sisters, wives and daughters for every little thing. What did we ever ask? Only respect and equal opportunities, is it too much to demand?!" She roared, her words making him vibrate where he stood.
He watched with wide eyes as he didn’t even get a chance to utter a word.
Kali swung her sword, it cut through his neck, the sharpness of it sunk in his neck bone, the sick crunching sound filled the surroundings, as blood sprinkled on her face, while his head went flying across, it rolled as his body slumped over falling on the ground like a bag of rocks.
Kali breathed heavily, trembling with fury, that was slowly increasing with every passing moment.
She was parched for blood.
Her furious roar reverberated throughout the place, making the ground tremble as the sky thundered with the clouds.
Dark clouds filled the sky, as the thunder rang, strong gust of wind blew as though the nature itself was angry on them all.
Govind glared at everyone, trembling with the suppressed fury. He had created this world with a hope that equality and happiness shall rule it.
Death was inevitable, it was one truth of life. That none could deny.
As Kali in her past life she had cursed the Kuruvanshi's that their daughters will die, but Printha had managed to live a happy life.
Panchaali had taken that curse on her, choosing the end of her life here in this manner.
A mother's silent sacrifice.
The pressure in the air amplified as screams and cries filled the place, death danced in the centre of the kingdom.
Creating an ambiance of destruction. End was clear to all.
Govind appeared out of nowhere, his face a mask of fury and pain, he was no longer bound by his boon, he had blessed them that he won’t be helping Panchaali but this was Kali here.
Fury and pain blazed through him as his gaze travelled to Panchaali’s corpse, his fists clenched as agony seared through his heart, the ache was so intense that he wanted to scream, but he held it all in, this was the fate, the worse had happened.
Now it was time he did his part, his eyes travelled ahead of him, focusing on the shocked expression of five brothers, the pandavas stood there.
The pandavas’ heart thudded as they looked around, what was happening? Confusion marred their expression.
A heaviness settled in their hearts, coldness seeping in them making them freeze where they stood.
They had been so happy that they were returning early to meet their wife, so many gifts and dreams they had returned.
Everyday they thought about her, and about returning to her.
Their hearts were bursting with the thought that they will get to hold her in their arms, her and their little baby that was in her womb.
But now as they stood here, the joy that they felt moments ago had completely vanished.
Destroyed and gone.
All their hopes and happiness crashed as their breath left their system in a whoosh, their eyes fell on the corpse of Panchaali.
Yudhisthir's breath hitched, the gifts that he held in his hands, crashed on the hard ground. Shattering into many fine pieces like his head.
No. This can't be true, no it just can't be true. He was dreaming.
Wasn't he?
This wasn't Panchaali! There was just no way!
Agony burned through him, he he felt as though someone had torn his heart out of his chest.
A loud agonising roar left his mouth while he crashed on his knees, the always calm king was shattered today.
"PANCHAALIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!" His loud cry filled the air, his voice sounded broken, just the way he felt.
Bheem's froze where he stood, his eyes staring at her face, in a moment his entire life flashed in front of him, him meeting Panchaali secretly marrying her, their child.
His heart cracked, as tears filled his eyes, should he scream? Shout?
But will he ever be able to express this unbearable agony that was burning him from with in.
He had hoped to return to his smiling wife, yet what he found was the end of his life.
Arjun stood rooted where he stood, his heart had ceased to beat, everything seemed to have slowed around him, his eyes focused on his wife.
The mere task of breathing seemed impossible, what was the point of him breathing if she didn't?
She was his one reason to live, than he didn't understand of him existing anymore.
He kneeled beside her, his hand traced her face.
Her smiling face flashed in his mind and he broke down.
He screamed out on top of his eyes, as the mighty warrior broke down crying.
The twins hugged Panchaali's corpse close to their chest, and shattered down crying. Their loud agonised cries feeling the sky, they wanted to die.
Their ears rang with a sharp noise, their eyes blurred with tears, as a sharp pain jarred through their hearts, the agony so strong as a loud scream left their mouths.
Tears tracked down their cheeks, their heart crushed in their chest.
The pandavas cries of agony filled the sky, they mourned for not just their wife and kid, but also their life. Everything had been destroyed today.
The roar of Kali had their heads snapping towards right, there stood Kali in her angry form, slaughtering their heads.
Fury thrummed through the pandavas, replacing the ache in their chest, destruction was the only thing that filled them, they shut their eyes, their bodies dropping on the ground dead, five aura balls left them and mashed as one, while they all took the form of a very furious Bhadrakaal.
He roared in fury, the volcanoes erupted as the seas and oceans raised up in huge waves.
Fury filled the air, making the air cackle with their wrath.
Death and Destruction filled the air.
The three furious deities roared and growled.
Krishn’s eyes focused on Shakuni, his hand tightening on the sword as he ran behind him.
The ground shook as he jumped high up in the sky, his hand raised up as a shout left his mouth, his anger filled roared shook the ground as he swung it down, it cut through his head, Shakuni’s head rolling on the ground as his body fell on the ground.
Dushasan and Duryodhan, tried to run away when Bhadrakaal opened his mouth and roared, fire leaving his mouth that turned the two brothers in nothing but ashes.
Blood flowed like river, bodies littered the ground, even though it was day, the darkness was like night.
Smoke and dust filled the air, Kaali’s eyes settled on the sea, she moved her fingers and a huge wave was formed at three hundred feet tall, it crashed in the ground destroying everything, the three watched their faces solemn, the watched as the waves of crashed into everything, destroying everything,
Kaali watched as the entire kingdom sunk into the water, forever lost.
She turned around, her gaze meeting her husband's. Tears shone in her eyes.
Destiny had managed to pull them apart once again.
Her tear filled gaze met his, he smiled at her sadly.
The form of Kali shimmered in fine gold particles, while she took the form of Panchaali once again.
Mahakaal took the form of Pandavas once again.
"Destiny has managed to pull us apart." Panchaali whispered, her voice soft. Agony filled her heart, while she gazed up at her husbands.
Her heart felt heavy with agony while she gazed at her beloveds, who moved towards her.
They smiled softly, "Worry not my love. We shall meet once again, for we reside In your heart." Yudhisthir whispered, taking her hand in his.
"In a new Yug." Arjun began, "In a new way." Bheem continued. "With a story." The twins whispered. "Forever one we are love. We'll meet again." The five whispered making her give them a watery smile. They smiled as they shimmered in fine gold particles and disappeared in thin air.
Krishn smiled his charmingly, before picking his flute, and began playing it, his heart filled with joy, for every destruction followed a new beautiful beginning. . .
