The air was cool and the atmosphere calm. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow on the 2 figures standing on the platform.

Aanya turned around and froze in her spot.
He stood there staring intently at her, his shirt a bit crumpled due to the long day.
His hair was still wavy and the sun shone in his hopeful eyes making them look like honey while his skin coloured golden.

After almost 2 years of loving him silently he stood in front of her- face to face.

He slowly took of his mask and Aanya's heart skipped a beat. She noticed the rest of his features.

He sported a mustache which suited him beautifully below which lay his plump lips. His chin had a cleft which added to his beauty. His erect posture along with his beautiful features made him desirable.

As Aanya took in his full appearance, which had her mesmerized she realized his mannerisms were edgy. He too was nervous on talking to the woman who he couldn't get out of his brain.

"Ye- yes". She stuttered. It was then she realized she was caught by him and mentally facepalmed at her actions.

All this while he himself was looking at her form.

She wore a saree again and her hair was in a bun. She did not wear her glasses today which made him look at her khol rimmed eyes more closely.

Even with a mask on he knew she looked beautiful.
He took slow hesitant steps towards her, keeping a good distance between them as too not appear desperate or creepy.
He wanted to see her without the mask.

"May I?" He asked, his tone unsure. She lowered her eyes in anticipation giving him the hint.

On getting the cue he slowly raised his hands towards her ears taking the mask string off. He lowered the mask slowly like he was opening a beautiful present.

He sucked in a breath when her while face came in view.

After 2 years of silently loving and adoring this face he finally got to see it. She had beautiful apple cheeks with plump lips.

She was so adorable, much more than what he imagined.

"Beautiful" he whispered and it made her cheeks turn red. She looked down shyly and this made the corner of his lips turn ever so slightly.
