The next morning Danny and Jessica went shopping for groceries.

"This looks good, huh babe?  You wanna try it?"

"Sure." Jessica yawns.

"Sleepy?" Danny chuckles.

"Yeah.  I didn't get any sleep last night.  I'm so worried about Sarah."

"I know, Jess.  I know it doesn't help when I say not to worry, but you'll only drive yourself crazy and end up sick yourself."

"I know, Danny.  I just can't help but worry.

"I know.."

Jessica sighs. "I'm gonna call Evan."

"Jess, he's working."

"He's always working!"

"Maybe later we can see if he's available to talk."

"I have to work though!" Jessica whines.

"You're always working!" Danny mocks her.

Jessica gives him a look.
"Are we done here?" She asks just as a person at the end of the aisle sneezes.

Jessica's eyes widen and she quickly walks away.
"We're done, we're done, we're done!"

Danny chuckles and follows her.

The couple returned home and Danny got started on dinner while Jessica went upstairs to teach.

During Jessica's small break she came down to talk to Danny.
"Babe, I get off late, you can eat without me."

"No it's fine, I'm gonna wait for you."

"Alright.. Can I have a little taste of some now?"

"Sure!  Open your pretty little mouth."

Jessica giggles and opens her mouth.

"Here comes the airplane!" Danny makes a funny noise as he "flys" it into her mouth.

"Mmm!"

"Look at those beautiful eyes light up!" Danny chuckles. "You like it, baby?"

"Mhm!  Damn, what a tease!  Now I'm even more hungry!" Jessica pouts.

"One more taste?"

"No it'll just be even harder to walk away."

Danny laughs.

"Ugh Fine, just one more!"

"Alright." Danny chuckles and feeds her.

"Thanks.  I better go.  Give me kiss."  Jessica puckers.

"Muah!  Here, let me clean your mouth before you go.  You have sauce all over you."

Jessica giggles as Danny wipes her mouth.

Jessica is now off of work and finally able to sit down and have dinner with Danny.

"Gosh I was starving!"

"So am I.. for you." Danny smirks.

"Daniel, please."

"Please what?"

"I'm mad at you." Jessica purses her lips.

"Why?"

"Because you came in me and I could have gotten pregnant!"

"But you didn't! And I promise I won't do it again. I bought condoms!" Danny smiles.

"I can't get pregnant during a pandemic, Danny. If I have to give birth with a mask on I'll freak out! If my baby has to be in that germy hospital I'll kill you!"

"You could have a home birth."

"Oh shut up, Danny!"

Danny chuckles. "Your period better hurry up because you're Ms. Moody Butt!"

Jessica gives him a look.
"You are!" He laughs.

June 25th.

"It's Evan!" Jessica grabs Danny's phone.

"Hey Evan, it's Jess!"

"Hey Jessica! Open your window, I'm here!"

"Yay! Danny, let's go talk to him!"

Danny and Jessica walk over to the window.
Jessica opens the curtain and smiles big.

"Hi buddy!" She giggles.

"Hello love birds!" Evan smiles.

"Evan.. oh what the hell? How do you know?" Jessica asks.

"I've KNOWN. Jessica has this glow about her, and Danny's always smiling weird. Are you pregnant yet?" Evan chuckles.

"No but we've already had a scare."

Jessica rolls her eyes. "It was Danny's fault!"

"I don't want to know!" Evan laughs.
"I'm happy for you both."

"Thank you! How's Sarah?"

"I can't believe it, but she's doing well. They're taking her off the ventilator."

"What! Oh my gosh, that's incredible!"

"She's going to have a lot of medical problems from this, but she's a fighter. She can get through it."

"Definitely." Danny smiles.

Jessica cries tears of happiness. She couldn't wait until she was able to see Sarah again.

The next morning.

"Danny, I think I have COVID!" Jessica runs into his 'office'.

"Excuse me?"

"I was working and-and.. I have it, I just know I do!"

"What makes you think you have it?"

"Well remember when that man sneezed on me?"

"He didn't sneeze on you. He was about seven feet away."

"A sneeze travels, are you dumb?"

"I guess so."

"Anyway! I have body aches!"

"Maybe you're just horny." Danny smirks.

"Um, No! I have COVID! I don't feel well and I just want to sleep!"

"Does your throat hurt? Are you coughing?"

Jessica let's out the most fake little cough and says, "A little bit."

Danny couldn't help but chuckle.

"Stop laughing!" Jessica pouts.

"I'm sorry. You wanna go get tested?"

"No.. maybe I'll wait a little longer. I have a check up on Monday anyway. Though I was planning on canceling.."

"Why?"

"I didn't want to be around sick people germs!"

"Oh I see." Danny holds his laughter in.

"I guess I'll go. I just hope they don't put me in the hospital!" Jessica looks to Danny with a worried look on her face.

"I'm sure they won't, baby. Why don't you take a nap before you have to work again?"

"I'll try.." Jessica says with a little pout.
"Do you think I should stay away from you in case I'm sick? Maybe we shouldn't sleep together." Jessica's face was covered with fear.
"
I don't want you to catch covid!" Her eyes water.  She was so afraid of Danny getting sick.

"Honey, it's okay. If you have it, I want it too."

Jessica narrows her brows and stomps off.

Danny chuckles and nods his head before getting back to work.
