Michael's POV

I've been at home this week to help Ocean around the house and with DJ. I'm a little worried about what Jack's going to say about me having more time off but hopefully when I explain what's happened he'll be ok. I kinda feel bad about getting Ray fired, but I know it was the right thing to do. All Ocean and I want is to just have a happy and drama free life. With her parents, Ray and the Coke out of our lives, everything's gonna be ok.

I'm upstairs finishing getting ready for work when LaToya knocks on the door. "Our you ready for your first day back?"

"Yup!" I smile feeling optimistic about today. "You know if you need some more time..." I shake my head cutting her off "I'm fine. Trust me. Today's at new start for us" I smile "I'm glad to see you guys are getting back on track" she smiles. "Well...I best be going. I can't be late my first day back" I'm about to leave the room and she puts her and on my shoulder slightly "you know I didn't mean to upset the other night don't you? I just needed you to see sense" She says softly "yeah, I know. you were just trying to look out for me" I shrug smiling "So your not gonna try and get her pregnant are you?" She raises and eyebrow "of course not" I lie faking a smile then quickly head off to work before she starts getting into it anymore.

Joseph's POV

I'm about to get into my car and Carson comes storming over "I hope your daughters proud of herself" he snaps "Sherri just got suspended because of her and her little outburst" I pursed my lips and smile "mhm. And she deserved it! Maybe if she acted more professional instead of. Involving herself in patients personal business" I shrug "she only had her self to blame"

"That patient is my daughter and her niece she had every right to be concerned! Unlike you We actually care about goes on!" He snaps "too bad you didn't feel that way when your threw her out or when you tried to get their kid taken away!" I snap back "oh please! Those two are always so out of it I'm surprised if they'd even notice!"

"What are you talking about?" I frown confused "don't act like you don't know! I saw them just the other day. Those two were completely out of it. What kind of parents sit around getting off their faces in the middle of the day instead of looking after their kid huh!?" He shrugs and gets in his car before I can say anything else.

My blood boils and I storm back into the house. "Is everything ok?" LaToya asks nervously as I slam the front door behind me "where did Ocean go this Morning?" I frown "she went out with DJ to visit a friend for the day" she looks at me worried "Is everything ok?" I ignore her question and head straight to their room and start looking around. It doesn't take me long for me to find a bag of Coke hidden under their mattress.

Michael's POV

"Hey! Your back!" Jack smiles seeing me walk into his office "yeah, I um, I just wanna apologise about just running out of work like that" he smiles shaking his head "don't worry about it. Your a good kid. I'm sure you had a good reason"

"My wife was at the hospital. She um...she had a miscarriage" he walks over pulling me in for a hug "I'm so sorry! are you ok!" I nod breaking away "yeah, I'm fine" I croak faking a smile. "I'm here if you need to talk" he says softly placing his hand on my shoulder "thank's" I mumble "I'm gonna go get back to work" I say wiping my eyes and quickly leaving not wanting to cry in front of anyone.

I head to the restroom and go into one of the cubicles locking the door and begin weeping. "Mike?...you in here?" I hear I a familiar voice 'what the fuck!!?' I say to myself "Mike?" I hear again. I wipe my face and open the door and see Ray standing outside the cubicle "you starting without me?" He chuckles "n-no I was just.." I stutter still pretty sniffly from crying and he cuts me off "yeah, course you weren't." He rolls his eyes playfully "what are you doing here?" I ask confused "I work here...duh!" He laughs slightly under his breath "I wouldn't be if some fucker had actually managed to get me busted though. You know the police came breaking down my door the other night? Even came here and searched my locker apparently the police got an anonymous call telling them I've been selling Coke" he frowns "listen I- I" I begin stuttering again and again he cuts me off "and I know who it was too! It was that little fucking weasel Leo!"

"How do you know if the caller was anonymous?" I asked worried seeing how worked up he's getting "who else would it be!? He's always sucking up to management and ratting people out...he's the biggest snitch in this place. wait until I get my fucking hands on him" I don't say anything and he looks at me noticing the worried look on my face "it's cool! Don't worry about it" he smiles playfully hitting my shoulder and I look at him confused "they didn't find it. I stash it where nobody's ever gonna suspect." He walks into the end cubicle motioning me to follow him. "This is top secret ok? Only you and I need to know" he winks then kneels down moving a lose tile from the bottom of the wall and there's bags and bags of Coke in there "and because your a good friend and I trust you. If I'm ever off work or whatever and you need some, feel free to help yourself and just pay me back next time you see me" he smiles handing me some. And out of nowhere I burst out crying dropping down on the floor. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" He frowns confused "I don't wanna take it anymore" I weep and he takes it from my hand "that's fine! all you had do was say! jeez you don't have to cry about it!" He rolls his "Ocean lost our baby. I gave her that stuff an-an...it's all my fault" I sob "it's not your fault. These things happen sometimes" he says softly sitting next to me putting his arms around me. "Is Ocean ok?"

"She's still in a bad way like me but we're trying to get it back" he nods understandably "and you will. Just keep trying and before you know she'll be pregnant again" he smiles through pursed lips "LaToya tried talking us out of it. She thinks it's a bad idea and said we should wait but she doesn't understand"

Of course she doesn't. She hasn't lost a baby and if you guys wanna get it back then do it" he shrugs.

After my little breakdown, Ray and I talked for a really long time and it really helped to let it all out. I finally calmed down and We're about to get up when the restroom door opens slowly "Michael? Are you in here?" We hear Jack whisper slowly walking closer the cubicle and we get up off the floor and Ray quickly puts the lose tile back on the wall "what's going on?" He frowns as we both walk out of the cubicle "Mike was a bit upset" Ray shrugs "so you decided to comfort him in the men's rooms" he frowns looking at us skeptically "dude! The guy just lost one of his kids and he was upset. Why don't you chill?" Ray snaps at him "back to work now!" He snaps at us and storms out.

"Sorry I got you in trouble" I mumble "don't worry about him" he shrugs "you ok now?" I nod purses my lips. We start walking back to work and Ray starts chuckling to himself "what's so funny?" I ask confused "I think Jack thought we were doing gay stuff" he giggles "what!?" I gasp laughing slightly under my breath "nah! He knows I'm married" I shake my head chuckling.

I'm walking into the parking lot to go home and I can hear yelling. When I look over I see Ray flipping out and Leo. I run over to help but Ray already has him on the floor and is I top of him punching him in the face and I go over trying to pull him off. "Ray, c'mon you don't know for sure it...."

"You fucking little rat! You ever try snitch on me again  I'll come after your fucking family!" He screams at him and  I finally pull him off "why the fuck you pull me back!?" He yells at me "because you don't know if it was him" he shrugs staring at me wide eyed "then who was it huh!?" I look at him for a moment not saying anything. As much as I wanna help Leo. I'm not gonna risk him flipping out at me and going after my family "well!?" He shakes his head waiting for and answer "I don't know" I mumble "you two are fucking crazy!" Leo snaps getting up "I just tried to help you, you ungrateful fuck!" I snap back "some fucking help" he says sarcastically holding his bloody nose "Well fuck you too then!?" I snap kicking him knocking him back down and I feel someone grab the back of my shirt.
"You lying mother fucker!" Joseph screams pulling me slightly away from Leo "W-what are you doing here" I stutter feeling extremely embarrassed my dad has just turned up yelling at me  "you've been taking that shit again haven't you?" He screams "what!? No!" I frown "explains why he's all psycho these days" Leo mutters "who the fuck you calling psycho!?" I frown kicking him again and Joseph pulls me back "then why did Carson say he saw the two of you high a few days ago huh!?" He tilts his head unconvinced

"He'll lying I haven't taken anything and neither has Ocean. You know their always making stuff up about us"

"Yeah, coz you'd never do that" Leo cuts in again. Getting up "you keep out of this!!" I yell kicking him in the ribs and Joseph turns me back to him "then when did I find this under you mattress huh!?" He snap pulling a bag of Coke from his pocket. I'd obviously missed it when flushed the rest away last week "cat got your tongue, Mikey" Leo says sarcastically  and I sigh shaking my head "shut...the...fuck...up!" I shout kicking him between words and Joseph grabs my arm "well!?"

"It's um..it's....."

"It's mine" Ray cuts in trying to help me "I got at a party over the weekend and I asked Mike to hide it so my girlfriend didn't find it"

"Yeah right" Leo mumbles getting up and I Kick him in the leg knocking him back down. "Is this true?" Joseph asks me and I nod "he hasn't been taking anything Mr Jackson. I swear he was just holding on to it for me" Ray confirms and Joseph walks straight up to his face and starts yelling. "If you EVER try to involve MY boy in ANY of your bullshit again. I'm gonna..."

He's cut off when Leo starts sniggering at us. Seeing how embarrassed Ray and I are right now. I kick him once quickly on the side of the head and Joseph snaps at him "What the fuck is wrong with you boy!? One more sound and I'm gonna let him whoop ya ass some more!?" Joseph frowns at him not bothering to stop me this time then turns back to Ray "I'm really sorry MR Jackson. I swear it won't happen again" Ray mumbles looking at the ground "home now!" He turns to me and we both walk to my car. We don't look back but can hear Ray hitting Leo "if I find out your lying. I will make that call. Do you understand? He mutters sternly down my ear and I nod

"It wasn't funny!" I say to Ocean who's sat giggling on the bed after I tell her about Joseph turning up at work "he literally came over and started yelling at me" I tell her still feeling embarrassed "I was sure we got rid of it all" I shake my head confused "why was Ray even there. I thought you called the police"

"I did but they didn't find anything because he's been hiding it in one of the restroom walls. And I can't even call them again because only me and him know about it so he'll know it was me this time" I sigh "he was really understanding when I told him what happened with you and the baby and I told him we wasn't doing it anymore so maybe that'll be enough"
she smiles through pursed lips "I hope so"

"anyway! Forget about all that" I smile clapping my hands together changing the subject "you and I have more important matters to take care of" I smirk playfully pushing her down on the bed
