Year 2007
"See it is not that bad" I said to Lali di after reading a story Lali di was writing for the last one year she had handwritten the story in her diary instead of daily happenings.
"It sounds like the story of a mega serial" Lali di said covering her face with her hands.
"It's fun you know, like 'Love captain's' and all, its super" I said.
"'What the hell is love captains?' how can I write about something like this?" Lali di said.
"Your story is about a couple who is captains of two different groups in a collage their love inspires different couples to stand up for their love, it's amazing" I said.
"But there is no use yar it will be in this stupid diary all my life" Lali di said and threw her hands up in frustration.
"It's OK di, at least I will get to read it finish writing it no" I said.
"It's not OK I don't want my story's to be trapped in the four walls of this house like me" She said I saw her face fall.
"Di you make a heaven for me inside the 4 walls of your house, you do my HW and write my record and my project so that I can have fun and practice guitar which is my passion, even though you tell me that you do all this because you wanna kill time the truth is that you do this to so that I can do everything which I wanna do you do all this so that I get that chance to dream that chance that you never got, the chance to follow your heart" I said.
"I love you Maya" Lali di said with shinning eyes.
"I love you too di" I said and gave her a tight hug.

Year 2012
"Hey Maya I finished writing the story" Lali di said exited. When she rushed into my house I was sitting on the sofa concentrating on TV. It was the month of October when there was a relaxation from studies. It was after the exams.
"Ah....ha OK" I said without taking my eyes off TV.
"Hey, what's with you" Lali di said a little irritated.
"Sorry di what did you just say?" I asked.
"What the hell are you looking at like an idiot" I said coming in front of TV.
"OMG, who is this" Lali di said as she sat open mouthed on the sofa near me looking into the TV it showed the song 'Disco Deewani' from the new film 'Students of the year' by 'Karan Johar'.
"What a cute girl di you know what is her name?" I asked.
"No, I don't know her this film must be her debut film" Lali di said.
"Hmmm" I said.
"But look at that guy in black coat he is so cute" Lali di said.
"Super cute" I corrected her.
"Guys I am trying to study hear" Meena said coming out of her room.
"Shut up" Lali di said.
"OMG who is he" Meena asked sitting next to us for the first time in my life I saw Meena di interested in TV.
"I don't know but I wanna pull his cheeks right now" Lali di said dreamily.
"Di you are talking about that guy no" Meena said pointing at the guy dancing with a girl with short hair.
"No, the other guy" Lali said.
"This one looks more nice right?" Meena asked.
"No" Lali di said.
"Guys I wanna know their names" I said.
"I will Google" Meena offered.
"Ok" Lali di said.
"Ok the girls name is Alia she is the daughter of Mahesh batt" Meena said.
"That's how she got to do the debut on Karan Johars films I should have guessed" I said.
"Come on Maya just look at her she will get any film even if she had zero connections with bollywood she is so cute that she just have to send her photos" Lali di said.
"That's true" I said.
"Lali, your hero's name is Varun son of David Dhawan" Meena said.

"I thought David only made cute films but this is the cutest thing he had ever made" I said.
"This is the cutest thing anyone in this world had made" Lali di said.
"This is Sid, Sidart he don't have any bollywood bag round" Meena said.
"I don't like him much" Lali di said.
"I love him" Meena said.

Year 2013
"So first day at collage ha, exited" I asked Lali di.
"Absolutely not" Lali di said.
"But I can change that opinion" I said.
"How will you change my opinion?" Lali di asked.
"See this, KMI collage have the biggest library in this locality" I said showing her my mobile which had pictures of the Library of the collage.
"Wow" Lali Di said.
"See now it doesn't seem that bad right" I said.
"No.......but I don't know I am not sure about this collage" Lali di said.
"You will be fine di you are not going there to study commerce anyway just try and get pass mark that's it" I said.
"But I want to study literature" Lali di said with a sad expression.
"I know di, I know it is really a hard time for you it is really difficult to leave your passion behind like this but trust me di there is no problem in this world that you cannot solve" I said.
"You know something I should have tried to fail last year maybe if I fail my parents will realise this commerce is not my cup of tea" Lali di said.
"No di our family is insane they will never realise anything all they care about is their bubble reputation and not our happiness" I said.
"True" Lali di said.
"Di actually I wanna go out with my friends this evening we have rehearsals for the art's fest I am gonna take part in the guitar playing competition" I said.
"And as usual you didn't tell anyone in your family about it right" Lali di said.
"Ya, you know mom will freak out she will be like 'How will you get 90% if you don't study well and play guitar all day you don't love me anymore trying to spoil our name learn something from Meena that Lali has done black magic on you'" I said in a funny voice by imitating my mom and laughed at my own joke and Lali di joined in.
"Don't worry I will cover for you just concentrate on your guitar and remember one thing no worries if you fail but you have to get maximum audience support OK" Lali di said.
"OK done" I said.
"Study something if you have time or else your mother is going to kill me" Lali di said.
"That I cannot promise but I will try" I said.
"OK then bye" Lali di said and rushed off.

2014
"So the biggest writer of the century is in love ha?" I asked Lali di.
"No, it's nothing like that he just want my help with this speech competition" Lali di said.
"If this guy don't know a single word in English and have not presented a speech in his entire life why have he given his name for the competition in the first place" I said and a little irritated.
"I have no dame idea this guy is stupid and insane" Lali di said.
"Strange guy yar" I said.
"Ya, he is just trying to impress his girlfriend" Lali di said.
"His girlfriend, he have a girlfriend how can a guy like that have a girlfriend?" I said with a thinking face.
"I don't know they hardly look like a couple anyway when I first saw them together I hardly believed they were a couple I thought it was some kind of misunderstanding" Lali di said.
"This guy is a mystery box di" I said.
"You are right" Lali di said.
"Anyway di did you seen the trailer of Humpty Sharma?" I asked.
"Ya extra cute Varun and Alia looks super cute yar" Lali di said.
"Di there is a rumour that they are dating each other can this be true?" I asked.
"I just hope it's true Like Alia is so cute and Varun is so, so cute if they become a couple it will be a cuteness time bomb and their love story will be out of this world just imagine them walking with each other people will stare at them like they are seeing a film or something" Lali di said.

"This is insane" Lali di said as she stared at the TV the channel B24 they showed news of Alia being in a relationship Sidart.
"I know di but it is her choice no" I said.
"But who will go straight down from Varun Dhawan to Sidart Malhotra" Lali di asked surprised.
"I hope Alia is sure about her decision" I said.
"Mark my words she will regret her decision one day" Lali di said.
"She won't Sid is a cool guy" Meena said.
"Hear have this pain killer" I said to Lali di who was sitting cross legged on the sofa with a thermometer in her mouth.
"No thanks" Lali di said after she took the thermometer out of her mouth.
"Why?" I asked surprised.
"If I have medicines I will get well again" Lali di said.
"That's the point of having medicines right?" I asked surprised.
"If I get well again I will have to go back to the god for sake place again" Lali di said and covered her face, covering her face was Lali di's standard reaction to all her problems.
"Di you can't stay ill all your life just to skip collage" I said with a small smile.
"Ya, like this I will die sooner or later that seems much better than learning commerce" Lali di said.
"Shut up di everything will be OK" I said and gave her a light hug.

2016
"I know it is stupid but I don't wanna stay here anymore I just wanna run away" Lali di said.
"Di, please don't tell me you are doing all this for a guy" I said.
"I won't, because I am not doing this for a guy I am doing this for me, it's time for my dreams" Lali di said.
"Di what will you do if you go to Mumbai?" I asked.
"I have no idea; I will figure something out anyway" Lali di said.
"Di you are like one of those heroes of the film who goes to Mumbai with the dream of becoming the hero of films running away to Mumbai is an old thing hundreds of people roam around the streets of Mumbai begging for a chance in films but non-of them gets a chance only the people with recommendations from the film industry get to work in the film industry it is an old story, I hope you know that" I said.
"Don't hope I know all this and more there is a lot of dirt in the film industry but I am Lali guptha who takes out gold from dirt" Lali di said.
"Di your name is not Lali Guptha you are Lali Rajsekar" I corrected her.
"Yuck! I hate my name I have changed it to Lali Guptha a week ago" Lali di said handing me over the files with the change in name certificates.
"What is Guptha it don't have any connection with you how can you keep it as your sir name?" I asked confused.
"I don't want any connection with my past and my family this family had fu**ed up my life high times, I don't want the shadow of my family on my future or my career I want this fucked up past out of my life for good so I will star with something which have absolutely no connection with my past" Lali di said.
"You sound overconfident di but I trust you, you will do well you will be successful one day" I said.
"Thank you sis" Lali di said and stepped out of her room without making any noise.

"So that day I saw her for the last time after a while everyone got to know that Lali di ran away, then after some years we got to know that Lali di had become successful" Maya said.
"So, you never met her ever after that?" I asked writing down some notes.
"Ya...........and I am still upset about that ya she had ran away and when we look through the point of view of a parent it is wrong but that doesn't mean that we total avoid her and never let her come back her parents never even try to contact her I tried to talk to Lali's parents about calling her back home the conversation didn't go well" Maya said.

"But she is working on her first film, now a day's everyone is talking about Lali di what will people think if they get to know that her own parents is behaving like this" I said.
"Oh sut up" aunty said.
"And what's so great about her career?" uncle asked.
"She is a director of a hit TV show series and now is directing for the biggest production house in the industry" I said.
"Oh! Just stop this rubbish she just tells her actors how to kiss each other" aunty said.
"What's wrong with kissing, like everyone dose that right, and you have no idea that how much she loves you" I said.
"Ya that's why she is making this Adult films" aunty said.
"It's not an A film it's just a love story OK, and how is the concept of her films gonna effect you?" I asked.
"There is so much dirt in her stories what will people say if they get to know it is our daughter who writes these stories" aunty said.
"No one will get to know, you know why?" I asked.
"Why?" aunty asked.
"Because have you ever noticed Lali di's name on her program it says 'Lali Guptha' who is this Guptha is he someone from your family dose he have any relation with you guys or your family?" I asked.
"No" aunty said.
"Then why did she tell everyone her name is Lali Guptha because she don't wanna hurt you guys by telling the whole world she is your daughter" I said.
"No she is not doing all that for us she is just doing stupid drama" aunty said.
"No, she is not" I said.
"Shut up and leave" aunty said.
I got angry and walked towards my home when I entered my home I saw Meena sitting on the sofa with an open mouth staring at the TV.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I can't believe this" Meena said in a horrified voice.
"What happened?" I asked her again.
"Alia just broke up with Sid" Meena said in a low voice.
"What? That's incredible finally she will choose a good guy" I said excited.
"Shut up yar it is all because of that stupid girl" Meena said irritated.
"Who Alia" I asked.
"No, Jackqucleen" Meena said.
"What did she do?" I asked.
"Alia have problems with her closeness with Sid" Meena said.
"Ya she always sticks to Sid like a chewing gum, did you see the trailer of their new film 'A gentleman' it have lot of hot seen and the kisses OMG looks really nice" I said.
"Ya but it's a film only no Alia should behave in a more matured way why breakup for such small reasons" Meena said.
"It's not just about the film she meets Sid late at night, which girlfriend will tolerate that?" I said.
"She must have misunderstood them they are extra professional people" Meena said.
"Ya they are so professional that they dose the profession of kissing each other even off screen" I said and laughed.
"Shut up my Sid is not like that" Meena said.
"Who else will go down from Alia to Jaqculeen" I said.
"Oh its nothing like that I think its some kind of misunderstanding and you know this B24 guys making big problems out of small thinks" Meena said.
"Maybe I don't know" I said.

"That's some heartless parents anyway what were you talking about that there is a friend" I said.
"Ya she had a friend called Aisha she was her school mate Lali di met her again when she changed to another collage for doing her PG" Maya said.
"Why did she have to change her collage?" I asked.
"She was bored with the old collage" Maya said.
"What!" I said shocked.
"Lali di hated staying at home so she shifted to a collage far away from home and she lived in a rented house with few of her friends and that day morning she had come back to home for the last time" Maya said.
"And her parents let her do that?" I asked confused.
"Ya they thought that keeping her at home will be an insult to their name her low marks was one of the best gossip to discuss during our family get-togethers and marriages" Maya said.
"That's insane" I said.
"But this insanity happens in most parts of India" Maya said.
"True" I said.
"Here you go Aisha's address" Maya said she scribbled her address in a piece of paper and gave it to me.
"Thank you so much for the information" I said as I and Victor stood up.
"It's OK, and if you Meet Lali di one more time please tell her that I miss her" Maya said.
"Oh sure" I said.
"And tell her to come back and attend my wedding at least" Maya said.
"OK and congratulations on your wedding" I said.
"Thank you" Maya said.

"So which is our next stop?" Victor asked.
I simply handed him over the piece of paper which Maya gave me.
"What I wanna go and take some rest first" Victor said.
"OK.........even I should take a break, so let's go to a hotel" I said.
"OK" Victor said.

"So this is my room that one is yours" I said pointing at a room opposite to mine.
"OK, so when will we leave to meet that Aisha?" Victor asked.
"We will meet after lunch I wanna discuss some things before we go to meet her" I said.
"Why after lunch we can meet for lunch right after one hour" Victor said.
"Mmmm.......OK done" I said.
Victor and I went into our rooms.

I took a quick shower and got ready for lunch. I changed into a short skirt but I thought it was not fit for the place I was at so I changed into jeans and top. I was well aware that I was at a place filled with judgemental people. Yes I know Indians are filled with a judgemental people but Kerala has the most judgemental people compared to other places the most modern dress at this place is Jeans and top. I had come to this place a handful of time but I have never seen a girl wearing a mini skirt ever. I took out my notes and analysed the situation clearly. I thought about Lali's life the problems she faced. My chain of thoughts broke as someone rand the bell of my room. I closed my notebook and went to open the door. It was Victor.

"Hi Victor" I said.
"Hi" Victor said.
"Let's go and have lunch" I said.
"OK" victor said.

We reached a beautiful restaurant. We took a table for two we sat facing each other.
"So what do you think about Lali Guptha" Victor asked.
"She was really worried according to me" I said.
"She had a boyfriend right" Victor said.
"Ya, Sid" I said.
"How do you know that?" Victor asked.
"I know it because I know Sid" I said.
"Really!" Victor asked.
"Ya really, I also used to know Lali remember" I said.
"Hey I think that we should interview that Sid before Aisha" Victor said.
"Really but I think Aisha will know more" I said.
"Really OK then" Victor said.
