My mind kept drifting off to Sid every now and then even though I tried my very best to stay in the moment but it was just too tough.

"How dare you even think that you would just come out here and I would just tell you all about Lali?" I asked.

"Diya come on please, I am really screwed up and I really need to talk to Lali"

"Get out of here Sid, I said in a stern voice"

"Diya....."Varun's voice brought me back to my senses.

"Ya"

"You okay? You haven't touched your food even"

"I am a bit stressed due to work" I lied.

"Ya I can understand when I started working in this field it was really hard for me"

"Really, you were really great in your first movie" I said amused.

"Ya but it takes a little getting used to you know"

"Ya maybe" I said forcing a smile.

"She was upset about Sid and I actually thought I did something wrong to upset her so I ran to Lali" Varun said.

"And Lali being Lali came rushing to me" Diya said with a smile.

Diya's POV

"What the hell is wrong with you? Last day you were jumping around when Varun asked you out then you screwed up the date? Seriously, you don't like him or what?" She asked.

"I saw Sid" I said turning to look at her shocked face.

"What?.......How? When?"

"He came to meet me, he was looking for you, in an impulse I said I won't tell him but he left a number if you want......."

"I am gonna meet Sid.....are you crazy or what......So seriously what is your scene with Varun"

"I really like him yaar and I hate it when I couldn't get Sid out of my head when I am with him, and it's not the fan girl in me talking either he is honestly a really great guy but......"

"But what?"

"It still hurts"

"Diya yaar" Lali said giving me a hug.

After that incident I didn't talk to Lali or Diya for a while. But one day I got a call from Lali.

"Hello, Diya listen I know you are upset and all but I need a favor from you"

"Ya tell me""You remember Malthi our costume designer?"

"She is getting engaged today and all of us have to shoot so can you go with Varun and attended this even he will pick you up"

"Lali...........""Please......yaar we really need to work"

"Okay fine"

"And that's how I ended up going to that wedding function, even though things with me and Varun were not cool he made me feel really comfortable, we also ended up dancing and enjoying the event everything was okay until the time to leave approached.

Diya's POV

"Listen I know things between us have not been really okay lately but can we please forget all that and move on?" Varun asked leaning to the seat of the car.

"Listen Varun it's not you it's me"

"Come on we went on a date and it didn't work out, it happens sometimes you are just not attracted to some people"

"Wait, you think I am not attracted you?"

"Maybe I should just leave"

Varun said and tried to walk out, but I held his hand and made him stay. I could see the pain in his eyes without thinking I leaned over and kissed him, it was only after a while I came back to my senses, I quickly stepped back.

"Oh my god I am so sorry" I said looking at his confused face.He didn't say anything but he just leaned forward and kissed me and I kissed him back after a few minutes of making out I again remembered something and we parted.

"What happened?" he asked.

"We are in the middle of the road there is a wedding function filled with paparazzi's right next to us do you think we should be you know........."

"Ya maybe we should just go home"

"Or we could go back to my place" I said surprising myself.

"Oh my god what the hell is wrong with me I am supposed to act shy and scared instead I am talking to myself like an idiot"

"Hey.....relax I am not judging"

He said placing his hands on mine.I looked at him and smiled he smiled back.

A few hours later, I was laying in bed with one of the most good looking guy I have ever met. Both of us looked into each other's eyes intensely.

"Okay I have a confession to make" I said.

"I am listening"

"The reason why I screwed up our first date is because right before our date someone came to meet me"

"Your ex-boyfriend?"

"More like an ex-crush I had a major crush on Sid and he didn't know I existed and he had a crush on Lali and he came here looking for her it's complicated but I want you to know it was nothing that you did"

"It's okay it happens we all have our own problems to deal with"

"Varun listen, I know I am not supposed to take all of this seriously but I know that I probably will make this a big deal inside my head but that doesn't mean you have to do the same I may have appeared like someone who does this a lot but trust me this was my first time I know I shouldn't be expecting a commitment from you but........"

"I love you Diya" Varun said and I looked at him with an open mouth.

"What......."

"You think I you are crazy but trust me I am crazier, I know I look smart and intelligent but I am stupid and hopelessly romantic, and it was also my first time" I smiled.

"I have heard that once you start loving someone you can never fall out of love you just find someone who you love more.....since the time I fell in love with Sid I haven't stopped thinking about him.......until tonight I love you too Varun"

I said and my eyes filled up with tears I could see tears in his eyes too.

"You are crying" He said.

"Well you are crying too"I said and both of us leaned forward to kiss
