AUTHOR'S POV :

How much love is too much love ?? A man comes to your life when you had given up on everything like a gush of wind , sweeps you of your feet , and then turns your world upside down. Naina's mind was swirling with these thoughts. She was thinking that when did she love Kabir this much. It was more than that. All this thoughts were clouding her brain when she entered her cabin. It was too much of a hectic day for Naina. It was a day after their fight. There was an emergency case due to which she had to rush to hospital at 3 in the morning . Taking a strong black coffee she had to attend that emergency case. In the morning she had her breakfast , after that she had to attend a lot of patients in the outdoor , and after a surgery later she was finally free. It was 4.30 in the afternoon, she didn't have her lunch also. She dropped herself on the chair. Her stomach was grumbling with hunger.

Kabir was not at all fine. All he was doing was cursing himself for doing such a stupid thing. He was feeling miserable. He cried during the night. He called Naina few times , would send her a tons of text messages asking for her forgiveness. All the messages were seen but there was no reply from her. She would cut the call. All the family members were tensed due to the sudden change of behavior of Kabir except Samaira and Shantanu (courtesy ofc Samaira). When Shantanu came to know about Kabir's doing , he barged into his room. Kabir was sitting at the foot of the bed with his knees to his chest. He held the collar of his T -shirt and picked him up and slapped him hard. Kabir didn't react much , he just stood there like a dead man with his face to the other side.

His brother again held him by his collars and asked him while grittinghis teeth, "What were you thinking while pulling this stunt Kabir ???". Samaira entered Kabir's room at the same time and saw Both the brothers. She locked the door and came towards them while trying to free Kabir from her husband's clutch.

"I am asking you something Kabir. Answer me !" Shantanu said in a deadly voice. It is quite a few times when Shantanu calls Kabir by his name. He was always his cheeku for him.

"Shaan !! Please !! Calm down. He knew his mistake and..." Samaira said calming his raging husband.

"How can I calm down Sam !! This man here says that he loves Naina but clearly he cannot trust her. !!! He should have informed her that he has trust issues !! But no !! He went on spying on her !!" Shantanu said raging. All this while Kabir just stood there lowering his head down. There was this immense pain surrounding his heart. He was crying . There were only few people in front of whom he can be vulnerable, The great Kabir Singhania , epitome of success , big arrogant, ruthless businessman can also get vulnerable. They were his brother , his bhabhi , and his mumma , and the new addition to this list was his Naina. Because after Alisha's incident, it was Shantanu , his big brother, who brought him back home. Supported him when he needed him and also helped in mending his broken relationship with his father.

"Do you really love her ??" Shantanu's voice brought him back. He snapped his eyes towards his direction looking at him in disbelief.

"Bhaiyaa !!!" Kabir's voice came out barely as a whisper. He again broke down. His knees gave up and he fell down on his knees

"I failed bhaiya!!!!! I messed up again.... I love her soo much bhaiya. I can't live without her. Please I am sorry .. I am sorry ... !! I am sorry !!!! I just can't live without her.... I can't...!!" Kabir was crying uncontrollably . He was hyperventilating. Shantanu then hugged him tightly.

And then whispered, " Sab thik hojaaega !!(Everything will be fine)"

"Kuch thik nahi hoga bhaiya !! She left me !!" Kabir replied crying hugging him back.
Shantanu knew what his brother went through. He didn't want it to repeat again. His little brother was crying in his arms , which didn't help him either.

"Look Cheeku !! You love her right !! You did a mistake and you know that you are wrong. The thing which matters is that , you know you are wrong. Don't lose hope !! Have faith in your love. Just go and get her.... !" Shantanu said holding Kabir by his shoulders. Kabir found a new determination to win Naina. He decided he will do everything in his power to make her forgive him.

Naina was in her cabin , when her cabin door opened revealing Vedant. Naina looked up and asked him in a bored and tired tone , " Do you know the basic decency is to knock at the door ??"

"Sorry but not sorry !!! What are you doing here ? Tujhe pata bhi hain aaj kya hain ??" Ved asked her in an overexcited tone. Naina tried to think what was today but unable to recall what is today.

"Kya hain aaj ??" Naina asked.
Vedant took a seat infront of her amd placed both of his hands on her table and asked "Tujhe Sach mein yaad nahi ???"

"Nahi !!" Naina replied.

"God !!!!" He huffed.

"I am going to propose Fatima today !!" Ved replied.

" Oooh !! I am so sorry.. I just forgot!!!! I am really Sorry ved !! Yaar maaf karde !!" Naina apologized...

"Its okay !!" Ved then scanned her face and asked her in a serious tone , "Are you fine Naina ???"

"yaa!! I am fine !! What will happen to Me!!" She replied hastily gulping down the lump formed in her throat. Her eyes started to tear down. She wanted to scream and say she was not fine , she was not okay.

"But you don't look so !!"Ved replied.

"What will happen to Me!! I am fine . It's just I had a hectic day. You tell all the preparations are done ? Don't worry She will say yes !!" Naina replied dodging the topic.

"I know you are ignoring the topic , but it's okay ! If you don't wanna talk." He replied placing his hand over her.

Naina gave an embarrassing smile. Ved was going to say something when there was a knock on Naina's cabin. She chirped a Come in. The door opened and Kabir came inside. The first thing where his eyes went was the entwined hands of Naina and Vedant. He eyed them. His hands went to form a fist. His mind went in wrong directions but he stayed calm not wanting to go in any sort of wrong decision. He chanted in his mind saying that he was only her friend.

Naina removed her hands from Vedant's and placed it in her lap. Her thoughts went whirlwind . What was he doing here. She was fearing Kabir would take Amy wrong step.

"Look , Kabir just came at the perfect time ...!" Vedant said excitedly. Kabir smiled awkwardly and then placed his hands inside his pocket.

He looked at Naina , she was looking everywhere except him.

"So I was telling Naina that after the engagement I am throwing a party tomorrow at my house . So you both are going to attend it." Vedant said both to Naina and Kabir or more of ordered both of them. Naina just glanced at Kabir and saw him looking at her and looked away.

"Whose engagement?" Kabir asked him unknown of the fact.

Vedant looked at Naina shocked and asked her , "Tune use bataya nahin ? ( you didn't inform him?"

" I.. just forgot ..." Naina replied stuttering.
Kabir was eyeing both of them suspiciously.
"Actually today I am going to propose Fatima." He said crossing his fingers. Then again continued, " So that's why ... I mean I know she will say yes but you know I am just nervous .. Just hoping for the best . That's why I am throwing a party. !" Vedant ended.

Kabir was in shock . His eyes widened hearing his revelation. He just felt like a fool. Vedant has a girlfriend and all the while he was doubting at Naina. Guilt rushed over him. Vedant could sense the tension between the couple. He thought that the best will be to leave the couple alone. So he bid goodbye to both of them and went out. Kabir just looked at Naina .

Naina asked him in a low voice , " What are you doing here Kabir ?"

"Naina.....I......" He couldn't form words. Guilt was trapping him.

"I am sorry Naina....... ! I am ashamed of myself....! I can't live without you Naina.. please forgive me...!" Kabir said coming closer to her. She moved back and raised her index finger.

" Just stop Kabir. This is my work place, I don't want to create any scene here. You are ashamed of yourself. Very good ! You understood your mistake. Very good ! But there is nothing I can forgive you for because there is nothing to ask for forgiveness. It was always about trust clearly which you don't have for me !!" Naina said in her angry voice.

"No ! Naina ! Baby you are taking me wrong !! I trust you!!" Kabir came near her and Naina's back hit the wall.

"No Kabir !! You don't!! Clearly you don't trust me. You have your own fears Kabir. That's why I gave you your much needed space. To trust me , so that one day you will come and confine in me ! I loved you Kabir !! And what did you do??" Naina said and broke down in tears.

Kabir came closer to her and hugged her. He placed his face in the crook of her neck and said , " I am sorry baby! I genuinely am ! I promise to always respect you, trust you ! I will be always by your side ! Please give me a last chance baby !"

Her tears was wetting his shirt. She was crying uncontrollably. Her face was still digged inside his chest Naina said, her voice hoarse due to crying , "You know Kabir !! I was planning to say to you how much I love you , how much you mean to me , how much you affect me , how much your presence affects me. I was planning a future with you. But everything seems like a dream now, everything is shattered ! Nothing is going to happen now...! We are over !!" Naina ended.

Kabir detached her face from his chest and cupped her face and said , " No! Please Naina !! We are not over... ! I love you... ! Just please give me a chance. Please give us a chance. !! I .love..." Kabir couldn't complete it.

" Please stop it Kabir .!! We can't happen. You have trust issues and clearly a relationship cannot be established only with love and its better you understand!" Saying this Naina wiped her tears and got up. She took her bag and came out of the cabin. Kabir was behind her. Soon she went in the parking lot and drove her car towards her home. Kabir was looking at her retreating car. He felt like he was loosing a part of his heart. His heart screamed in agony and pain. He felt miserable

Will they be ever become one? Will Naina forgive her? These questions were surrounding his head. He didn't know what to do. He was lost !!! Completely!!
