"VIIIIIIINN!!!" My scream echoed throughout my room as I awakened with cold sweat dripping from my face down to my neck.

Vin? Why would I dream about that guy? Do I know him from somewhere?

Dad rushed into room with Mom tailing him, searching the room for any signs of danger before rushing to my left, kneeling beside me, while Mom sat next to me on the right side of my bed.
"Honey, are you alright? Did something happen?" She moved closer until she was sitting next to me.

Did something happen?
"No?" I said, tilting my head a bit and resting it on her shoulder. We were almost the same height but I was taller, so my back bended awkwardly. "Honestly, I'm not really sure."

"Then why'd you scream 'Van'?" Dad said, resting his arm on my bed. "Is he your boyfriend?" I shook my head in disbelief.

"You know that my studies come first."
"Nice joke." I stared at him, before smiling.

"I think I said 'Vin'..."
Silence filled the room as they both stared at me
"Vin?" Mom looked at me with a curious gaze and something else that looks like she knows something... "Do you know him from somewhere?"

"I don't think so..."
"What do you see when you look at his eyes?" Well, that escalated quickly...
"What kind of question is that?!"
"Just answer."

"Can I ask why first?"
"No."
"Give and take." I straightened my back then looked her straight in the eye.
"What?"
"Give something first then you can take something too..."
"I'm not giving you my credit card." I laughed at her
"I meant tell me why you're asking."
"Nevermind..."

I laid on the bed properly and Mom and Dad stood up, walking to the door.

"Hey Dad," He stopped walking.
"Yeah?" He turned his head at me
"Can we go to the beach this friday?"
"Sure."
"Seriously? Just like that?" I said, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Sure, but get some sleep. It's 2 am and some of us have to go to work early."
"Ok, Thanks Dad. Goodnight to you two." They both replied goodnight before leaving the room, not closing the door.

Ugh. They left it open.
I stood up and closed it and finally going to bed to fall asleep.
