Part 12

The days were passing by very fast. Manik busy with the launch and Nandini making the designs for mrs Williams family.
The designs were approved by mrs Williams and her family and they got the contract for making the gowns for the whole family including the flower girls and the maid of honor.

Mrs Williams and her family was very happy with the designs provided by Malhotra's fashion house. She invited both Manik and Nandini with Melanie to their house warming party before her wedding.

Manik informed Nandini about the party. Nandini really wanted to attend this party as she wanted to spend some time with Manik. She couldn't able to do that after Soha's farm house party. She wanted to clear thinks with him. Because he still has a doubt on her and she wanted to clear that out. Even Navya and Aliya was excited for her.

Nandini's mom was going back to her home town now that her daughter has a legit job.
"Mom I will take care of myself. Don't worry about me..." Nandini was convincing her mom about her security.
"And you will...." Sumita was about to say something else when Nandini stopped her by hugging her from the back.
"I know I know, I will come home on time and I won't hang out in the night... now are you satisfied..." Nandini gave a kiss on her mom's forehead.

"You know my mind and heart will always be with you... please be very careful..." her mom pleaded. Nandini felt bad feeling her mothers concern.

Navya was right there watching both mother daughter love and concern. She said
"Aunty Sumi... we are here for her. If she don't follow any rules then we will inform you.. you just go and take care for the rest of the family... don't stress yourself..." she gave a hug to Sumita.

"Yeah Sumi, don't stress too much we will take care of her..." aunty Annie came from the kitchen setting the table for lunch. Sumita's bus was after lunch.

Then Nandini has to get ready for the party. She told Manik that she will meet him at his penthouse in the evening.

After the lunch was done Nandini's mom left with lots of crying, worry and concern for her daughter.

Nandini was free to get ready for the party. Melanie send a very beautiful off shoulder lavender color knee length dress for her.

Navya matched the earrings for her and Aliya took out a high heeled sandals matching with it.

Both Navya and Aliya was excited for her.
"You know Aliya, today that handsome Malhotra will fall flat on our Nandu." Navya passed a comment on her.

Nandini blushed hearing her.
"Awee... look at her how she's blushing hearing his name. I'm sure there's something going on in these two. After that girls farm house party, they both are so desperate to spend time with each other. Am I right Nandini..." Aliya also joined Navya in teasing her.

"Shut up you two. Stop bothering me..." Nandini tried to stop them but they didn't stop.

"I wanted to see your Prince Charming, how he dresses up to suit you..." Aliya said adjusting Nandini strand of hair that was falling from her bun.

"He's not my Prince Charming..." Nandini said with a blushing face again.

"Anyways, Navya you are dropping me right, so why don't you join us Aliya..." Nandini asked Aliya.

"Yeah we both can drop Nandini and then we can have a nice dinner in a restaurant while coming back..." Navya said.

"Ok. I don't have anything else to do. And I'm off duty today..." Aliya agreed.
"Ok let's get changed and rush off..." saying this Aliya and Navya went to get ready.

"This is not fair Bhai... even I am a part of the Malhotra fashion house. Why am I not invited..." Dhruv was bugging Manik since he heard that Manik and Nandini and Melanie was invited to Mrs Williams party. And he's not.

"Dhruv, you are not involved with the designs. And for some reason Mrs Williams was very impressed with Nandini's designs. So she invited her. Nothing important..." Manik explained adjusting his tie.

"Impressed with Nandini's design or Nandini..." Dhruv stressed.

"I don't know. She likes Nandini from the first meeting... so I can't help it..." Manik said.

"Yaar... you are invited to the party and your brother wanted to go too. Can someone tell me why am I sitting here waiting for who..." Cabir was also there with them getting very bored with the brothers tiff.

"You my dear, is waiting here, because I want you to drop us off to the party..." Manik turned to Cabir and said with a wink.

"So you want me to be your official chauffeur for the night..." Cabir said.

"Not really. But I want you to drive the Lamborghini because I can't trust anyone else with that car..." Manik knew Cabir's love for the cars. So he always trusted Cabir with his cars.

"Oh so Cabir is also accompanying with you guys and I'm not allowed. Wow this is great. Just great..." Dhruv whined again.

"Oh common Dhruv. Stop whining. Go home and take some rest..." Manik said.

"Rest. On a Saturday night. You kidding. No way I will find myself some entertainment. You guys go and have fun..." he turned and walked to the door. Right then the doorbell rang.

"I'll check it..." Dhruv went and opened the door.

His mouth fell open seeing Nandini standing in the door in that gorgeous looking dress.

He whistled.

"Hello gorgeous. Bhai is gone today..." he murmured.

"Hello..." Nandini blushed beetroot red.

"Who is it Dhruv..." Manik came from the back and was stunned seeing the most beautiful girl standing in front of him.

"Hi..." she said again trying to take the strand of her hair behind her ear not able to meet Manik's gaze.

"Hello..." Manik answered.
"You look.... beautiful..." he whispered.

"Thanks..." she replied with tons of shyness.

"Ahem ahem..." Dhruv brought them back from their shy encounters. They were busy talking with each other when they headed Aliya's voice.

"We wanted to make sure that Nandini was delivered safely to your door..." it was Aliya that emerged from the side of the door.

Navya came in the front too from the other side.
"Now that she is safe, we will take your leave... common Aliya..." Navya said and was about to leave grabbing Aliya's hand.

"Hold on hold on...." Dhruv stopped them. "You guys can't just leave like that. Come on in..."  Dhruv invited all of them inside. Manik was so lost in Nandini's beauty that he forgot about the manners.

They all walked in. Cabir came and was glad to see Navya there.

"Wow look who we have here..." he came near Manik and asked.
"Do I really have to drop you guys off. Suddenly I have a plan to spend some time with miss Navya..."

"You can drop us off and then spend time with her... because I don't think Dhruv will let Aliya go now..." Manik knows his brother very well. He understands that Dhruv is taking interest in Aliya.

And obviously Dhruv make the plan of taking out Aliya for dinner.

"So Aliya. I don't think you ate dinner yet.. right..." Dhruv asked her.

And our Aliya a very innocent soul accepts instantly.
"No actually we were planning to have dinner after we dropped off Nandini.."

"Good, very good. You know what. I'm very hungry too. Bhai is going to have fun in the party. So why not we also have some fun. Let's have dinner together. What say.."

"Why not. It's a very good idea. Right Navya..." Aliya said excitingly looking at Navya with a happy face.

"Yeah not a bad idea..." sometimes Navya gives up on Aliya's innocence.

Cabir got upset hearing all the plan. He couldn't stopped himself from interfering.

"You know what. I have to drop Manik and Nandini to the party. I will also join you guys. Just send me the address..." bending towards Navya he added.
"Even I will spend some quality time with you. To know you better..." his voice was very low that only Navya could hear him.

She gave a look to him.

"Trust me honey. You will definitely fall in love with me..." he whispers again close to Navya's ear. She shifted in her place and moved away from him.

Meantime, Manik and Nandini were having gazing contest with their eyes. Sometimes she looked at him and sometimes she's lost in his intense gaze.
And sometimes they both steal away the glances hiding from each other.

Cabir went with them to drop them off at the venue. It's was not that far so it took him only ten minutes to drop them off.

Mrs Williams son and his wife welcomed them. They were taken inside where the rest of the family was resided.

Mrs Williams introduced Nandini.
"Everyone hear me out..." she called out.
"This beautiful girl standing by me is Ms Nandini. She is the one who designed my gown. And also yours. She is a very talented young lady. I want you all to welcome her with a round of applause..."

The whole family gave a round of applause for her. Nandini was happy and also embarrassed to hear her praise. This is the first time she is genuinely getting a praise for her real work.
Her cheeks turned pink due to the blush.

Manik felt elated hearing Nandini's praise. He also likes it when Nandini was getting the appreciation she deserves. He knows Nandini is talented.

"Mr Malhotra, I think this young girl deserves a dance. Why don't you take her to the dance floor..." Mrs Williams asked her.

"Why not Mrs Williams. I would be glad to do the honors..." Manik said offering his hand to Nandini. She gladly took his hand with a huge smile.

Melanie was very glad to see both Manik and Nandini paired together without any hurdles.

She went near them and said.
"Babe, enjoy the night. There's not gonna be any stoppers or hurdles in your way tonight. Don't worry about me. I will find a handsome dude in this party..."
both Manik and Nandini laughed at her.

Well there's something special about her. He thought.
As soon as Mrs Williams ask him,
He led her to the dance floor. A slow tune started, they moved in sync with slow rhythm of the old bass. His hands began to travel slowly to the small of her back and the curve of her waist.

"At last I got a chance to spend some time with you alone.." he said.

A song on the stereo system played in Justin Bieber's voice.

"I saw him in Soha's party for the first time and again I saw him in Soha's party for the second time..." she was trying to clarify him. But he put his index finger on her lips and makes her stop.

The warm breath of his fanned the shell of her ear as he pulled her closer.
Shuddering, she bit back a moan of pleasure.

His electric gaze held hers while his arms tightened drawing closer until their bodies fused.

And one more thing she wanted to admit that she wanted to run along her hands all over his body without any barriers. She wanted him all night. Naked and his hands all over hers.

He pushed himself a little more. This time she didn't say anything. The adrenaline in her blood rises. She didn't know what to expect.

This feeling is very different. This is something non descriptive. She never imagined in her life how she will feel when she will give herself away to someone. But she is in a different world totally.

He pushed himself a little more this time. His length is going deep inside her almost to touch her core. He pulled himself out again and thrusts harder to make sure that he is deeper inside her.

"Please tell me are you ok..." he asked again.

"I'm ok..." she whispers.
"Are you sure..." he wanted to make sure that he didn't hurt her in any way.

"Yes I'm sure.." she answers and closed her eyes not to show more emotions to him.

He waited for few more minutes to make sure he is ok.
"Ok I will get freshen up and you too go and get fresh then we will go to sleep..." he didn't wanted her to feel uncomfortable.

Because he was in a very different world right now. He is so happy to have this girl fully tonight. He didn't wanted to feel guilty later or he didn't wanted her to feel guilty of having this nights encounter. This was his night, her night. The night of togetherness. The night of becoming one. The night of giving themselves to each other completely.

He wanted to savor this night forever. He went to the washroom and puts on a track pant and came out. She was already wrapped herself with the sheet when he came out.

She went to the washroom and grabbed his bathrobe and put it on. She came back and lays down on the bed beside him.

He grabbed her in his arms from behind her. She cocooned herself in his arms and closed her eyes.

"Can I ask you something..." he asked. His face snuggled in her neck from the back. His voice sleepy.

"Hmm.." she hmmed. As she is very tired. This was her first time. She is still syncing that in.

"Are you happy..." he asked.
She didn't answer because she was too tired. But she said.

"Yes very..." she answers.
"Me too... I'm very very happy. Im so glad that I'm the first man in your life. And I hope to be the last one..." he said giving her a kiss on her neck.

She felt a shiver down her spine.

She wanted him to be the last man in her life. The feeling she just experienced was very unique. She wanted to experience more of it. She felt lucky that the most handsome man on the face of this universe is here with her. She wanted to be with him always. With all this thoughts she drifted into sleep with him.

Both of their sleep was disturbed by the door bell that was buzzing constantly for few minutes.

Manik rubbed his eyes.
"Who could this be early Sunday morning..." he moved the blanket and stepped down.

Nandini grabbed the bathrobe and followed him too.

"Good morning..." he said seeing her behind him and gave a kiss on her forehead.
"Stay in the bed ill be right back in a minute..." he said

"Good morning.." she replied. "I want to grab a glass of juice. I'm hungry..." she answered with a blushing face. Being naked in this mans bed is giving her more shivers. But that's the one thing she would love to live with it every day.

He came down and opens the door. Nandini stopped in the kitchen doorway hearing the coming persons voice.

"I'm pregnant. With your child.." it was Soha's voice that echoes in the penthouse. Leaving both Manik and Nandini stunned and speechless.

"Are you crazy. Are you out of your mind. Are you kidding me early in the morning..." Manik couldn't believe what he heard.

"No Manik I'm not crazy. I'm not out of my mind and I'm not joking. This is the truth. I'm pregnant with your baby. This is the proof...." she showed some papers.
"You can recheck it with whichever doctor you want..." Soha didn't know that Nandini was listening to her every word that's perching through her heart.

She was shocked hearing Soha. Manik was shocked too. After the night of togetherness , after the very special night for both of them. They were least expecting this kind of news.

"we didn't even slept together... we didn't even have sex... how can it be possible..." he was trying to remember when he get intimate with Soha.

"Of course we slept together. Remember that night when we were drunk and you brought me to your penthouse. That night we have sex too..." she was saying everything very calmly. It doesn't matter to her who is around her. She doesn't care who is listening and who is not.

Nandini turned around and takes a look at Manik. Manik didn't know what to do or what to say.

Nandini ran upstairs.
"Nandini listen to me...." Manik called.

Nandini went straight to the room and closed the door on Manik's face.
She grabbed her dress that was laying on the couch. Her hands were shaking and trembling.

She Changed it into the dress. Looked for her purse and her phone. She don't know what to do. She just want to gat out of here. Want to go far away from here. She didn't wanted to ruin the sweet and sensuous memories that they made last night. But, the memories are going to stay memories as for now.

Those beautiful memories are not gonna make sense anymore. She didn't know how to react and how to face the situation. The best option is to go farthest away from here. From him.

She grabbed her sandals in her other hand and rushed out of the room bare foot. Manik was standing right outside. He tried to catch her hand.

"Don't...." she raises her hand straight on his face to stop him.
"don't you dare touch me..." Manik  stepped back with her blunt answer.

She ran downstairs, passing Soha in the middle of the entrance and she was out of the house.
