Neil looked at avni in view mirror and smiled looking at her. Avni was busy in looking at the beautiful city and enjoying the climate while a small smile was playing on her lips. Neil sped up the bike intentionally, out of the fear avni held his shoulders tightly and hid her face on his back. Neil chuckled avni looked at him and frowned. After getting his intentions she smacked his back lightly.

After sometime they reached their destination. Avni smiled widely while neil stared at her.

Avni: ( excited) wow beach. It's so beautiful neil.

Neil: not more than you.

Avni gave him not again look and ran towards seashore. Seeing her this childish side neil chuckled. He shouted from behind.

Neil: avni aram se, koi kahi nahi jaa raha.

But she didn't listen to him and stood there near seaside opening her arms. Neil walked towards her and stood behind her encircling his one hand around her waist. Avni looked down at his hand than at him turning her face towards him. Both stood there in that position for a long time.

Later they both sat on the ground. Neil offered her his handkerchief so that she could sit on it but she denied and sat on the sand near him. Both were looking ahead enjoying the sunset. Avni looked at neil.

Avni: juhi ko tum kabse jaante ho?

Neil turned his face towards her and smiled.

Neil: bachpan se jab me 5 saal ka tha tab me pehli baar mila tha usse park me and we instantly gelled up with each other. Phir we joined the same school and our bond becomes more stronger. Jab vo 15 saal ki thi tab uske parents ka accident ho gaya uski maternal aur paternal family ne saaf mana kardiya usko apne pass rakhne ke liye. Then mom and dad decided to take her to our home aur tab se vo hamare saath rehti he.

Avni felt bed for her thinking just like her she had also lost her parents.

Avni: so tumhe kabhi mera matlab he ki

She fumbled not able to speak anything.

Neil sensed her nervousness and kept his hand on her encouraging her.

Neil: tum mujhse kuch bhi pooch sakti ho avni you don't have to be nervous.

Avni: tumhe kabhi usse pyaar nahi hua.

Neil frowned looking at her.

Neil: no she is just my friend that's it. Tum kyu ye pooch rahi ho?

Avni: nothing bas ese hi. Tumhare papa aur bebe bohot acche he.

Neil raised his brows.

Avni: matlab aunty bhi bohot acche hain. I was just tensed, me nahi chahti meri wajahse koi aur problem ho.

Neil took her hand in his and squeezed it gently.

Neil: tumhe pata he mom and dad ek dusre ko college time se jaante he dono best friends the. Phir mom ki zindagi me kisi ne dastak di aur unse mom ko pyaar ho gaya. Papa bhi khush the unke liye. After their college ended mom decided to marry with her love of her life but destiny played a cruel game with her. Shadi waale din hi unka accident ho gaya aur vo chal base. Mom puri Tarah toot chuki thi sab log unko Sahara dene ke bajay taane marne lage. Yaha tak hi mom ki family ne bhi mom ko support nahi kiya. Phir papa ne mom ka haath thama mom ne bohot bola ki vo dad ki life kharab nahi karna chahti phir bhi dad nahi mane aur mom se shadi karli. Jab dad ne ye baat bebe ko batayi to bebe bohot gussa hui. Bebe ne dad se baat karna bandh kar diya tha. Par phir 6 mahine baad sab kuch thik ho gaya aur bebe ne dad ko maaf kardiya aur mom ko bhi accept kar liya although half heartedly but jab unko mom ki story pata chali to she dicided to give her a chance aur phir sab thik ho gaya. Aaj ham bhi usi situation me he avni jaha mom and dad the. Par mene tumse shadi kisi pressure me aakar ya out of sympathy nahi ki you know that I love you and will always love you. Mom abhi gusse me he that's it ek baar unka gussa thanda ho Jay uske baad me khud mom se baat karunga hmm.

Avni looked at him with teary eyes and nodded.

Avni: koi baat nahi me bhi puri koshish karungi aunty se apna rishta banane ki.

Neil smiled at her than thought to tease her.

Neil: tumhe badi jaldi he mom ke approval ki.

Avni looked here and there while neil chuckled.

Neil: don't worry mazaak kar raha tha.

Saying this he looked ahead gazing at the  beauty of the nature. Avni looked at him and got lost in him. His hair, his eyes, his nose, his lips everything is perfect just like his heart. He is the most kind and generous person she came across. While staring at him she didn't know when she spoke those words.

Avni: I love you neil.

Neil froze on his spot. He gulped then looked at her still amused by her words. He never thought she would utter those words.

Neil: Ky kya kaha tumne?

That's when she came into her sense and widened her eyes recalling everything.

She hurriedly stood up and turned her back towards him. Neil stood behind her and turned her towards him holding her shoulder. She looked down not able to look at him. Neil chuckled and cupped her face.

Neil: come on main jaanta hu tumhari feelings ko ab bol bhi do jo tumne apne dil me chupa kar rakha he please.

He pleaded to her but she didn't look at him for once. Neil left her face and took a step back.

Neil: it's ok. Me bhi pagal samaj betha tha you love me. I am sorry for troubling you. Ofcourse why would you love me.

He turned around back facing her and smirked thinking this trick might get work. Avni looked at him feeling guilty and stood infront of him. Neil made a fake sad face.

Avni: nahi neil mene ese kab kaha.

Neil: ( innocently) to tumne ye bhi to nahi kaha ke tum mujhse pyaar karti ho .

Avni: abhi to Maine thodi der pehle kaha.

Neil: but vo to tumhare muh se Nikal gaya na you did not mean it.

Avni: ofcourse i mean it neil. I love you neil please don't think like that I don't love you. I love you neil I love you so much.

Neil smiled widely with tears in his eyes and hugged her tightly crushing her in his arms. Avni hugged him back more tightly.

Neil: yahi to me kab se sun na chahta tha tumhare mooh se aur aaj finally tumne bol diya.

He broke the hug and cupped her face. He joined his forehead with hers rubbing his nose against her.

Neil: please say one more time please.

Avni: I love you neil I love you and only you. Agar tum nahi hote to shayad me kabhi khud ko sambhal nahi pati baba ke jaane ke baad. Me aaj tak tumse ye keh nahi payi ye sochkar ki ham dono ki duniya bohot alag he ham ek dusre ke liye nahi bane par kismat ka likha hua koi nahi mita sakta aur Allah ne ham dono ko mila diya.

Neil nodded and kissed her forehead affectionately. He rubbed his beard on her cheek. She chuckled feeling ticklish she pushed him and began to ran from there. Neil shouted her name from behind and ran behind her. Avni giggled but didn't stop and ran more faster. Neil at once caught her and hugged her from behind and twirled her while the only sound could be heard was their laughing and giggling sound.

Neil stopped twirling her and pulled her closer grabbing her waist. Avni encircled her both hands around his neck. When she saw the time in her watch.

Avni: Neil 7 baj gaye kitni der ho gayi he hame jaana chahiye ab.

Neil shook his head against her forehead.

Neil: nahi jaane ka man nahi kar raha thodi der aur rukte he na.

Avni: neil par bebe

Neil: me abhi bebe ko phone karke bol deta hu bas.

He called bebe and told her they would come after having their dinner. Bebe said yes and Neil got excited like a child.

They spent their time there for sometime then thought to have dinner. Neil took out a key from his pocket and looked at avni. Avni was looking at the the girl who was driving a bike and a boy was sitting behind her. Neil looked at that scene then thought something.

Neil: wifey how about you ride the bike this time.

Avni widened her eyes and shook her head instantly.

Avni: bilkul nahi neil mujhe kaha bike Chalani aati he.

Neil: are to main hu na me pakdunga tumhe chalo.

Avni: par neil

Neil convinced her to ride the bike with difficulty. She sat on a bike first then looked at neil making a puppy face.

Avni: Neil please phir kabhi agar kuch ho gaya to tumhi chala lo na please.

Neil: bilkul nahi abhi tumhe dar lag raha he par phir dekhna kitna maza aayega.

Neil sat behind her and started the bike. He placed  her legs properly on either  sides and placed her hands on hand clutch. He kept his both hands on her and  started riding the bike. After sometime avni also started enjoying the bike ride smiling widely.

Neil: kyu maza aa raha he na.

Avni: bohot.

Neil inhaled her fragrance with closed eyes from behind but then controlled himself and focuses on the road.

He parked the bike outside of restaurant and both got down from the bike. Neil held her shoulder and both went inside the restaurant. After placing orders neil took her hand and played with her fingers.

Neil: I still can't believe that you confessed to me.

Avni chuckled and pinched his hand. Neil made a painful expression and both burst into fits of laughter.

After having their dinner both came out and neil again told her to sit at front and she happily agreed. He started the bike sitting close to her. He placed his chin on her shoulder her hair was hitting his face making him to close his eyes. He looked at her who was smiling peacefully after so long seeing her happy his heart was at peace now.

One constable saw them on bike without helmet he stopped them. Neil applied break immediately. Avni saw the constable was glaring at them she got scared and also feeling embarrassed. But she forgot that her husband was also a police officer.

Constable: aye Leila Majnu bina helmet ke kidhar ja rahe ho huh aur ye madem aage bethi he inke pass licence he?

Neil: are sir vo to ham bas ese hi bahar Nikle the bike ride ke liye.

Constable: ese hi bahar nikle the to helmet kyu nahi pehna ye apni ashiqui kahi aur jaake karna but not while driving. Kitni baar bolte he helmet pehno helmet pehno par nahi aaj kal ki generation samajh ti hi nahi he.

Neil: we are really sorry sir. Ham fine de denge.

Constable: ha esa fine lagaunga ke aaj ke baad kabhi helmet pehen na nahi bhulega.

Avni looked at neil getting scared while neil blinked his eyes assuring her.

Constable: dd iske naam pe fine bana.

Dd: yes sir.

He turned around and got shocked seeing his sirji and bhabhi that too she was sitting at front. Now avni felt more embarrassed and just wanted to hid her face somewhere.

Dd walked towards them and smiled nervously looking at them. He glared at the constable.

Dd: ( sternly) shinde ye neil sir he.

Shinde: are ye kisi ka bhi sir ho hame kya. Ye bina helmet ke bike chala raha he apni mehbooba ke saath.

Dd: shinde ye neil sir he acp neil Khanna.

Shinde looked at neil and widened his eyes. He saluted him immediately.

Shinde: so so sorry sir mujhe pata nahi tha aap neil sir he.

Dd: we are sorry sir ye naya he isliye aapko pehchana nahi.

Neil: it's ok shinde tum apna kaam kar rahe the bas am impressed keep it up.

Shinde smiled widely.

Shinde: thank you sir. And sorry aap ko rokne ke liye aap jaa sakte hai sir.

Neil: ese kaise fine to bharna he na.

Dd: it's ok sir aap jaiye.

Neil: nahi dd rules are rules vo sab ke liye hote he.

Neil took out his wallet and gave them 500 Rs. They both saluted at him Neil nodded his head and started the bike. Dd looked at their retreating figure and smiled.

Avni was silent a frown was adoring her face. Neil looked at her from behind.

Neil: kya hua wifey?

Avni: unke saamne kitni embarrassment hui mujhe kya soch rahe honge vo mere baare me.

Neil started laughing.

Avni: haa haso aur haso.

Neil: accha sorry. Vo log bas yahi sochenge ke unke sir apni wife se kitna pyaar karte he.

She instantly melted listening him and smiled beautiful. They continued their journey while talking and laughing in between.

Later they reached Khanna mantion and got down from bike.

Neil: hope you enjoyed your day mam.

Avni chuckled.

Avni: ofcourse patidev.

They entered inside and saw their family sitting in living room. Bebe looked at them and smiled.

Bebe: finally aa gaye lagta he bohot maze kiye dono ne.

Neil: arey ofcourse bebe aaj to mazaa hi gaya. ( he said last line looking at avni )

Shweta could see how happy neil was with avni but she just doesn't wanted to accept it. While juhi sat emotionless.

Bebe: jao aram karo bohot thak gaye honge.

They nodded and went to their room. Avni then realized her clothes were still in the beg. Before she could do sonething she saw neil opening the bag and took out her clothes from it.

He handed her a night suit of her.

Neil: tum change karlo me tumhare kapde cupboard me arrange kar dunga.

Avni: ( taking her clothes from his hand) nahi me kar lungi.

Neil: kaha na jao me rakh dunga.

She nodded and went to washroom. While neil started arranging her clothes in the cupboard. After sometime she came out from washroom and placed the towel on the chair. She saw neil was busy in his work. She walked towards him and stood beside him.

Avni: kuch help karu?

Neil looked at her smiling and shook his head.

Neil: bas ho gaya.

With that he placed her last dress in the cupboard and shut the door of cupboard.

He looked at her she was looking very tired after all it was a busy day for her.

Neil: chalo so jaye.

She nodded and both laid down on bed with a comfortable distance between them. Neil patted her head and kissed her forehead. Soon sleep took over her due to tiredness. While Neil was admiring his sleeping beauty. He looked ahead and closed his eyes trying to sleep but he felt uncomfortable in his t shirt. He had a habit of sleeping without his t shirt. He looked at avni and found her sleeping in a deep slumber. He got up and pulled out his t shirt then laid down again. He closed his eyes and sleep took over him.
