' What happened? '

Me, Tej, shivaay and annika asked at the same time.

Priyanka was glaring at ranveer as if a lioness was going to attack her pray.

Then I noticed that her dress was actually drenched in tea.

Ranveer had covered his mouth with his hand and there was a cup in his another hand.

' Oh bete ki ....' Annika said.

All of us started laughing when we realised that Priyanka screamed because Ranveer spilled the tea on her dress.

Ranveer tried to control but he also ended up laughing like us. Priyanka became redder by each passing minute but this time because of anger.

' Till now only I use to spill Saayerabanu on shivaay but today you also did the same Ranveer. ' Annika said.

' Who's saayerabanu? ' Tej asked.

' It's Americano. ' Shivaay said.

' Yeah I meant that only. ' Annika said.

' I am sorry Priyanka. I didn't mean it. ' Ranveer said.

' You spoiled my favourite dress. ' Priyanka said angrily.

' Don't blame me, it's your fault actually. '

' WHAT !!!!!' Priyanka shouted.

' If you give me salt instead of sugar then obviously I will spill the tea only. '

' Oh ho. Now I see. Ok I gave you salt by mistake butcan't you check before adding. After all you are the masterchef here not me. '

' Yeah that's my mistake that I thought that because it's your house, you would know where are the things kept here. But I was so wrong. If you have ever taken the pain to come in the kitchen then you would have known something. '

' Oh yeah that's true. And also another thing that you aren't going out of this kitchen without any strain. '

Saying so she grabbed the cup of tea kept over the slab.

' No Priyanka. Don't '

' Haven't you heard that everything is fair in love and war. This is both. '

' Prinku stop. ' Tej said and went over the counter but he was too late.

She has already thrown the tea but Ranveer got out the way at the last minute and now Tej was also drenched in tea. His three piece business suite now had a nice brown strain.

All of us laughed hard.

' I am sorry Dad. ' Priyanka and Ranveer said at the same time.

' It's ok. ' Tej said with a smile.

I know he can never be angry at his little princess and her prince.

Taking advantage of the situation, prinku grabbed the bowl of flour from the slab and threw it on Ranveer.

I am sure ranveer never expected this. No one saw it coming.

He was looking like a snowman. From his hair to his upper chest, he was completely covered in flour. His perfectly styled hair looked was white now and his tanned skin was glowing.

Again all of laughed hard except ranveer.

Priyanka laughed the hardest.

Now Ranveer was giving her a death glare. She had a victory smile on her face.

' If you thought that I would leave you then you don't know me. ' She said while putting her hair hair back with a grace of pride and attitude.

That's a rare scene to watch.

Ranveer was also not going to leave her so easily, his smirk said it all.

He took the bowl of besan (gram flour) from the slab and threw it on her.

But I think she also learnt a few things from her husband, she pulled Annika forward and now Annika was fully covered in besan.

She was looking like a yellow snowman. Her long black hair was now yellow and her face looked as if it was her haldi ( a pre marriage ritual in which same turmeric paste is applied on the bride and groom ) today.

There was another roar of laughter. I am sure someone might thought that there's a circus going on here.

' Tumari ladai me mujhe bali ka bakhra kyu bna dia? ( why did you sacrifice me in your fight? ) ' Annika said.

' Sorry bhabhi. ' Again Priyanka and Ranveer said at the same time.

' Is this telepathy or coincidence?' Shivaay asked.

All looked at him with confusion.

' Saying the same thing at exact time. ' he said.

' Obviously it's love. ' Annika answered.

' Don't read so many novels. ' Shivaay said.

' Why should I? ' Annika asked.

' So that you would live in this world instead. '

' Oh really. '

' Yeah. See you weren't alert and that's why you are covered with besan now. '

Annika was angry. She looked around to find anything but thanks to the newly wedded couple, she couldn't find anything.

Her eyes fell on the bucket and mope which was used to clean the kitchen floor a while ago. I think I know what's coming up next.

I was going to say something but Tej held my arms and pulled me back.

All this while, Shivaay was busy setting his hair, prinku and Ranveer were busy staring at each other

Annika picked up the bucket and threw all the dirty water on Shivaay from the top. This seems to bring the youngest couple back to this world.

Shivaay was now completely drenched in water.

' I was better in the hospital only.' he said.

' Who asked you to come back. Stay there only. ' Annika said while folding her arms. Shivaay is gonna have a hard time in convincing her.

' Now all are even. ' Priyanka said.

' Not yet. ' Ranveer said pulling her closer.

She landed in his chest. He hugged her from behind. His arms were wrapped around her belly. He rubbed his cheeks against hers.

Awwwwww .......... so cute.

' Now we are even. ' he left her. Even though her cheeks were white due to flour but it was clear that she was blushing.

Suddenly Shivaay and Annika hugged from both sides.

' Now finally all are even. ' They said and left me.

There was another round of laughter.

Then I realised why they hugged me out of the blue. My dress was covered in besan and half was drenched in water.

' What were you doing Tej?' I turned back and asked my husband.

' Sorry I was busy in staring my wife who's still looking beautiful. ' He said.

This man is really mad. But isn't it the best part about him. He's never gonna grow old by his nature.

' Smile please. ' This was Shivika and Ansh 's voice.

All of us turned back to see both of them with a phone each and clicking photos. Behind them mummy ji stood with her hands on waist and a furious look. Now all of us are gone for sure.

' Dad frame this photo. ' Ansh said.

'We would put it in our bedroom.' Shivika said.

Both of them ran before anyone could say anything.

' Why are playing holi in the kitchen? ' Mummy ji asked sternly.

I, Tej, Shivaay and Annika just pointed finger towards the couple. Both of them looked shocked as if they were innocent. They shared an glance and noded.

' Dadi .... ' Priyanka said.

' Actually the thing is ...... ' Ranveer continued.

' Leave it. I will talk to you later. Now everyone go and get ready. I will get the breakfast ready. '

All left to their room but I stopped Ranveer by holding his arm. There's something I need to tell him.

' Ranveer, listen to what I am saying and don't interrupt. ' I said and he nodded.

' I have never seen Priyanka so happy from the last 3 years.

Thank you Ranveer for coming in her life. You added the happiness in her sad and lonely life.

She was never so happy in anyone 's company or presence. She was never so open in front of others.

I don't know why but she's most free in front of you. As if those demons of past, of which she's so scared of, can't touch her when you are with her.

You bring out the best out of her.
You bring out the naughtiness under the demeanour of that usually shy timid girl that she always puts up.

He was silent but his eyes spoke volumes. He bent down and took my and mummy ji 's blessings. He left without a word.

' Relax. He wasn't expecting this so he's in a little surprised.' Mummy ji kept a hand on my shoulder, assuring me.

' Was it right to hide Priyanka 's past from him? He had and he still has a right to know. ' I asked.

' Of course, he does and so do our Prinku. It's their past and it's their duty to share it with each other. ' Mummy ji said.

' Their past? ' I asked.

' Ranveer hides more pain in his eyes than we think. There are still a few things, we don't know about him. ' her voice sounded kind of suspicious. I don't know what her mature elderly eyes have seen, but I am worried about prinku.

' But we're their parents. ' I said.

'Yes we're. But it's their lives, their relationship, their marriage and their past.  They're grown up now. They can decide what's right and wrong by themselves. Don't worry.'

' But what if the shadow of their past fall on their future? '

' Puthar, future is defined by the present, not by the past. Their love is strong enough to withstand any storm. '

' What if the past affects their love? '

' Janvi, stop being so insecure about them. They'll fine. You also know this. True Love isn't weaken by any kind of past. Love is felt for a person, not for their past, present or future. Love is eternal.'

Hi there everyone. Thanks for the all the wishes for my exam but my first exam is postponed till next weekend. So my exams would be staring from 7th July.

Today is the last day of my vacations. These holidays have been memorable for me. I made some new friends amd met so many new people, because of this book and wattpad. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

As much as I would miss these days, I am excited to meet my friends tomorrow, after a month.

Vacations over also mean less time. Exams are also round the corner. Don't know when would I will update next chapter so this one is a little longer.

Pinky promise that I would reveal the past in the next and next to next episode.
