I heard Frisk gasp and I came back to my senses. I quickly pressed MERCY and picked to fake attack her. I swing fast but stop just before I hit her to seem like I gave it my all yet over all, do almost no damage. Undyne started to go off on another monologue about how both me and Frisk were like king dad. The fight ended and Undyne started to talk to both of us again. 

"Well, that was fun, huh?" Undyne said. 

"I think fun is the wrong word Undyne..." I muttered to myself. 

"We'll have to hang out another time...! But, uh, somewhere else I guess. In the meantime, I guess I'll go hang with Papyrus. So if you need me, drop by Snowdin, OK!?" Undyne shouted to both me and Frisk and we nodded. 

"Oh, and if you ever need help... Just give Papyrus a ring, ok? Since we're in the same spot, I'll be able to talk too. Well, see you later punks!" Undyne explained then left the area. 

Frisk and I watched her go then turned to look at her burning house. 

"Sounds like only fire lives here now." I commented and made Frisk giggle. 

I smiled. I always did seem to know what to say to make a situation more light-hearted. We turned and left to make our way back to Hotlands. No! The voice screamed at me and I got such a bad headache, it made me fall to the ground in pain. I gripped my head and Frisk came over to me. They put their arm on my back. 

"Are you alright?" They asked. 

I just barely heard them because my ears started to ring. I shook my head. Frisk rubbed my back and slowly, the pain started to leave. I slowly stood up and we started to move again. Frisk seemed to stay really close to me from that point on. We rode with the river person to get back to Hotlands then we went right to the lab. In that couple minute span of us being there, my clothes had already dried which I was grateful for and I could see that Frisk's clothes looked to be dry now too. In the lab, a bipedal, lizard-like monster, or really, she could be a pangolin, named Alphys came up to Frisk and I and introduced herself. Her robot by the name of Mettaton crashed through the wall and pulled Frisk into a quiz show. Ugh, this stupid show bizz bot is going to be the death of me. He's so flamboyant and so happy it seemed fake but, I could see that he was really passionate about what he was doing. Wait... Oh my gosh he's gay. Well, the quiz show went on and I didn't pay much attention to the questions until one. 

"Would you smooch a ghost?" Mettaton asked. 

All of the options were "HECK YEAH". My mouth dropped slightly. I was a ghost when this run started. Technically, this question could be directed towards me knowing Frisk. They instantly picked one of the heck yeahs and turned to wink at me. I blushed a bit and just stared at Frisk until another, "interesting" question popped up. 

"Who does Dr. Alphys have a crush on?" Mettaton asked. 

One of the answers seemed to be "the human" which I knew was talking about Frisk. I kind of hoped they didn't pick that one. Inevitably, they did then pointed finger guns at Alphys. I pursed my lips together and crossed my arms. 

Mettaton then explained how Alphys doesn't love Frisk but always watched us on our journey and cheered when we succeeded and shrieking when we failed. 

"In its own way, is that not love?? " Mettaton rhetorically asked. 

"Either way, I know for certain that Alphys would much prefer to 'ship' you with the other human." He then said. 

My face became hot and I knew I was blushing. Mettaton signed off and was about to end the show by blasting off but, right before he could, Frisk stopped him. The battle sequence ended and Mettaton stayed put to see what Frisk wanted. They turned to me, blush covered her face. 

"Well, you may not be a ghost anymore but, I still think it counts." Frisk said and before I could question it, they had kissed me! 

It was pretty quick and I was left dumbfounded. My eyes went wide and I just stood there. 

"Well, well, well. Now that's one way to end a show. Until next time darlings." And Mettaton finally left. 

I shook myself back to reality.

 "...Well that was certainly something." Alphys commented. 

"Th-that last question... he wasn't s-supposed to ask that one." Alphys informed. 

I chuckled to myself. Frisk and I went to leave before Alphys stopped us. She offered to give us her phone number but then realized how outdated the phone was and upgraded it for us. After, she claimed this made us friends and retreated to the bathroom. Frisk left, me following behind.
