Leading the way, I made my way trying to find a new area. There were so many different paths it was easy to get lost. 

I eventually found my way into the next area and it was pitch black but thanks to my electroreception I could still kind of see. I grabbed Chara's hand so they wouldn't stray off in the dark. 

I walked forward a few steps and found myself standing waist deep in water. 

*aw great. Now I'm gonna have wet socks and shoes for the rest of my journey.* I thought in annoyance. 

I trudged through the water still holding Chara's hand. I climbed out when I saw a ledge to get out of the water. 

"There's a ledge here Chara." I informed before helping them up. 

"Thanks" Chara commented. 

I walked a bit more and was met with nothing other than an echo flower. I listened to what it had to say. 

"Behind you." Was all it said. 

I slowly turned around and when I did, the lights faded back in. I looked to see Undyne standing menacingly over Chara and I. Undyne then started a monologue. 

"Seven. Seven human souls. With the power of seven human souls, our king... King Asgore Dreemurr... Will become a god. With that power, Asgore can finally shatter the barrier. He will finally take the surface back from humanity. And give them back the suffering and pain that we have endured... Do you understand humans? This is your only chance at redemption. Give up your souls. Or ill tear them from your bodies" Undyne said before getting in a battle stance. 

I held onto Chara's arm, scared. They seemed scared too but stood up tall. 

Undyne summoned a spear and ran at me. My half soul started to show itself when monster kid came out of nowhere. 

"Undyne!!! I'll help you fight!!!" He shouted then looked around at everyone before speaking again. 

"Yo!!!! You did it!!! Undyne is RIGHT in front of you!!! You've got front row seats to her fight!!!" He gasped. 

"...wait, who's she fighting???" He asked and Undyne grabbed him by the side of the face and dragged him away. 

"H-hey! You aren't gonna tell my parents about this, are you?" I let out a relieved sigh. 

"Glad That's over." I said. 

"Yup, that kid always seems to be so convenient to us." Chara chuckled. 

Chara then looked over to see me still clutching their arm. We both blushed and I let go, looking away in embarrassment. 

"S-sorry." I apologized, still looking away. 

"It's alright." They responded.

 We looked for a new area so we could continue. There didn't seem to be any so we backtracked a bit and I saw a path that was hidden before. I grabbed Chara's hand and lead her to the next area with me then letting go. 

*Great, more water...* I thought. 

There were a lot of echo flowers in this room. 

You hear a passing conversation. Chara narrated. 

"Hmm... if I say my wish... you promise you won't laugh at me?" A voice asked then I moved to the next echo flower. 

"Of course I won't laugh!" A second voice answered. 

It sounded like Chara. I walked a bit further again to the next echo flower. 

"Someday, I'd like to climb this mountain we're all buried under. Staring under the sky, looking at the world around... That's my wish." Said the first voice again. 

I moved forward. The first thing heard from the next echo flower was laughter. 

"Hey, you said you wouldn't laugh at it!" Said the first voice. 

I moved on. "Sorry, it's just funny... That's my wish too." Said the second voice. 

I gave a soft smile. *That's kinda sweet.* I thought to myself. 

I looked over at Chara to see them looking down and tearing up. "Asriel..." They whispered almost incoherently. 

I gave them a hug. They looked up at me sniffling. Wiping their eyes clear of tears, they smiled at me. 

"I'm fine, let's just keep going." They said to me and we continued walking.

So I know it's not Saturday or Wednesday but there are people that seem pretty excited for updates and I'm not here to disappoint so since I couldn't post Saturday, I'm posting today.
