Chara's POV

Frisk finished the battle with Papyrus and was asked on a date by him. Frisk decided to go on the date immediately just so they could get it over with.

The date ended with Papyrus letting Frisk down gently and then we parted ways. "Remind me why I came with you on that date again?" I questioned. 

*I don't know, maybe you just got used to being around me so much.* Frisk shrugged with a small smirk on their face. 

We continued on our journey through the underground and made our way into Waterfall. It was so peaceful, like as if you stayed in one place for too long you would fall asleep. 

"I used to love coming here." I stated, looking at our new surroundings. I took in the beauty and tranquility of everything I hadn't seen in person in a long time. 

We kept treading on until we reached a stand run by Sans. There were other monsters there as well so Frisk decided to talk to them first. There was nothing said worth mentioning so I'm going to spare you the details. 

Frisk then talked to Sans and he invited us both to Grilby's. We both agreed to go so Sans used one of his 'short cuts' to take us there. Man I had never experienced one of those in person and boy does it ever mess you up. I don't understand how Frisk can take them so well. 

When we got to Grilby's, I could barely stand. My legs felt like they were going to give out at any moment and if my stomach wasn't so strong, I swear I would have thrown up right then and there. 

 "F-frisk." I choked out. Frisk turned their head to look at me and rushed over to help. I felt kind of embarrassed. I was never one to show signs weakness and here I was, not even able to stand on my own two feet. Although, I'd rather be seen weak then be seen on the ground. 

Frisk extended their arm for me to take and I clutched to it for dear life. We walked in a little after Sans and Frisk helped me sit down then sat down themselves. A farting noise could be heard when Frisk sat down and I already knew it was a whoopee cushion. 

I sighed. *That comedian.* I thought, putting my elbow on the counter and rested my head on my hand. 

We all ordered burgers and for the rest of our time there, Sans mostly just talked about his brother, Papyrus. When our food arrived Sans offered us both ketchup for our burgers. Frisk accepted and I declined, knowing what was probably going to happen. 

I was right, Frisk attempted to pour out the ketchup and all of it dumped onto their burger. I offered them mine since I wasn't all that hungry and they happily accepted after thanking me. 

They ate then Sans got really serious. He was talking about some echo flower that would say nice things to Papyrus or something. I didn't really pay attention. Then we left, Sans using another 'short cut' to bring us back to where we had been previously. I was never going to get used to that. 

I grabbed onto Frisk's arm again, we said our thanks and once again, we were off. 

The next area had a waterfall that seemed to be pulling rocks along with the current. Frisk sat me down and sat next to me. 

"Thanks again for helping me." I said and my face got a bit hot. 

*No problem.* Frisk signed while giggling. 

"What's so funny?" I asked. 

They just shook their head. *Can you try helping me now?* Frisk asked in a more serious manner. 

"Of course. Uh, can you try speaking?" I suggested first, not knowing what the heck I was doing. Frisk nodded, taking in a breath and opening their mouth to speak.

Meow's it goin'! K so this is coming out pretty late and the reason for that is I was somewhere almost all day and I almost completely forgot both the fact that I had to post today AND that it was Saturday. Ya, sooo, that. but here's the chapter anyway, hope you liked it. Oh! also, I won't be able to post this Wednesday most likely because I'm not gonna have internet, so ya. BUT, do not fear, on Monday I will be posting a chapter of a brand new story! Get excited for that and as always, see ya next time, later. Baii!
