Chara's POV

I knew generally how long it took Frisk to battle mom so I sat with my feet dangling in the hole they dug and waited. 

About an hour later I began walking. I made it to where I needed to be, the room with four frogs. Or room f4 as I like to call it. I searched the wall and found the tiny frog in one of the cracks. 

"Hey Marty, do you mind letting me through?" I asked him. 

"Sure Chara, anything for you." He said in the most high-pitched voice I had ever heard. It sounded like an Alvin and the chipmunk's character downing helium. 

"Thanks buddy, I appreciate it." I told him. Marty nodded then I started walking through the secret passage he had opened for me. 

"Oh, and Chara?" He stopped me. 

"Hm?" I questioned, looking back towards him. 

"Welcome back." He said, giving me a warm smile. I smiled back, turned around and started walking down the corridor with a new-found skip in my step. 

By the time I had gotten to the end of the secret passage, I figured that Frisk was just about finished with Papyrus' spiel about 'how he must be the one to capture a human.' So, I opened the door to find myself near the exit of the ruins but hidden a bit by the trees. I walked through the forest path only reaching the gate before realizing that I was just going to walk into the skelly-bros talking. 

I stopped but it seemed Papyrus noticed me. 

"HEY BROTHER. IS THAT A HUMAN?" He asked pointing to me and I immediately hid in the trees. 

Sans turned around but didn't see me so he turned back to his brother. "there's nothin' there bro." He said. I sighed in relief. 

"OH, OK." Papyrus responded back. 

After that, papyrus went on with his dialogue and then left. 

"ok, you can come out now." Sans said to Frisk and they walked out from behind the conveniently shaped lamp. 

"you too kid." Sans announced as he turned to face where I was hiding. My eyes widened. "yeah, you there, hidin' in the trees." 

I slowly made my way out of my hiding place and made my way over to them. Frisk's eyes widened and they gasped, giving me a hug. 

"do you guys know each other?" Sans asked us. Frisk nodded with a wide grin on their face. 

"well, you two oughta get going. my bro might come back and if he does... you'll have to sit through more of my hilarious jokes." Joked Sans. 

"Ugh, alright comedian." Frisk waved goodbye and we walked onward.

~Time Skip~

We had been solving puzzles for quite some time.

 By now, we had finished the electrical maze, Ball Game, Sans' word search, got past Papyrus' spaghetti, and fought lesser dog. 

Well, Frisk fought lesser dog, I just kind of sat there and watched. Needless to say, Frisk was exhausted. 

We decided to take a break and sit down. Frisk cuddled up to me once again but I couldn't bring myself to ask them to move. They looked so peaceful and they were so tired that it seemed mean to deprive them of this.

 Frisk fell asleep and I just sat there, playing with their soft hair. 

Frisk woke up about 2 hours later, yawning and stretching. 

*Hey Chara.* They signed, giving me a sweet smile. 

"Well hey there sleepy head. You slept for a pretty long time." I pointed out, ruffling Frisk's hair. 

*Well, what can I say, I had the most comfortable pillow.* They signed, covering their cheeks. 

"Well, thanks partner. Anyway, let's get going, shall we?" I asked and Frisk nodded.

 We continued walking to our next challenge. During the next part of our journey, Frisk fought the dog couple and we solved a few X to O puzzles, solved an extremely easy tile puzzle, fought Greater dog, and went across a bridge with an inactivated 'puzzle' with 'no class' before reaching Snowdin. 

This time, we were both tired so our first stop before anything else was the Snowdin inn.

Meow's it goin' guys! So i realized i did a dumb. So me and my stupid self decided to post the same chapter twice and i just noticed this now so crap. Did anyone else notice that before now? If so, Why did no one tell me?! either way, I'll fix that and I hope you guys don't mind to much. Other than that, I don't have much else to say so I hope you liked the chapter and I'll see you next one. BAII!
