Chapter 1-Curiosity Killed the Monsters
Third person view
Frisk had just finished their battle with Asriel and saw him break the barrier. They made their way to the surface with all their monster friends in tow. While watching the beautiful sunset in front of them, Frisk agreed to become the ambassador of the monsters and decided to move in with Toriel. Life was great for the small human child but, one thing sat festering in the back of their mind. *Who is Chara?*
Frisk's POV
I couldn't get the thought out of my head. Their name was mentioned by Asriel during our fight and it sparked my interest. *Where is Chara? Why couldn't I see them in the underground?* I thought. *Are they not part of this world?* I remember going through the underground many times before, each time doing something different. To my knowledge, Asriel could only be encountered during a true pacifist run. Maybe it was the same concept for Chara. I took a deep breath and summoned two options.
❤ RESET * CONTINUE
I reset the world and went on a new journey to find Chara. Recalling my past thought, I tried to think of any route I had not previously done and remembered something. The only thing I haven't done is a GENOCIDE. . . My heart sunk at the thought of killing all my friends. This was a decision I didn't make lightly, but my mind couldn't stop racing, thinking of Chara. *If this is what I must do than so be it.* I thought as I made my way through the underground.

I tried my hardest to stay strong during this run but, after Papyrus' dust had spread across the ground, I couldn't find the DETERMINATION to continue moving. My legs went numb as I knelt in the snow crying. So many died by my hands already, and if I wanted to finish this genocide run to see if it were even worth it, I would have to keep going. Somehow, I eventually found it in me to drag myself out of the snow and continue on my journey. DETERMINATION. Sounded the voice that followed me through the underground which seemingly came from nowhere.

I could hear my footsteps echo as I walked into the judgment hall. I had died countless times and killed so many. If it weren't for the fact that I had already cried out all my tears, my face would be engulfed in the salty liquid. My breaths were uneven and my face was red and swollen from the crying I did recently. I resented myself for what I had done. I wished I could take everything back. All the feelings, all the death, all the pain, all the memorising, everything. I walked through the hall and found myself faced with the silhouette of the skeleton who would show me my fate.
"heya. you've been busy, huh?...so, i've got a question for ya. do you think even the worst person can change...? that everyone can be a good person, if they just try? heh heh heh heh...all right. well, here's a better question. Do you wanna have a bad time? Cause if you take another step forward... you are REALLY not gonna like what comes next." My face was shrouded in darkness and regret but, regardless, I took that step forward.
"welp. sorry, old lady. this is why i don't make promises." He said right before we both entered a FIGHT.
Sans: 1 attack 1 defense
Your easiest opponent
"it's a beautiful day outside. birds are singing, flowers are blooming... on days like these, kids like you...
S h o u l d b e b u r n i n g i n h e l l ."
I was caught off guard when Sans got to attack first. I quickly got to my senses though and tried my best to dodge the remaining attacks. By the end of the attack my health was at a critical 1 HP so, I ate the butterscotch cinnamon pie that I had saved from when I was at Toriel's earlier. This was it, all I had to do was hit him once. That would be easy, wouldn't it?
