Shiva was surprised in a pleasant way looking at her because it was the first time he had seen her in a saree. But he could easily notice that she didn't have her usual smile on her face and spark in eyes. But love was intact, showing up in her eyes.

Raavi stepped forward and took him in a tight hug. A tear escaped her eyes but she managed to hide it. Shiva tightened the grip.

SHIVA- What happened Raavi?

RAAVI- I love you Shiva...I love you.

SHIVA- I love you too but please tell me what happened?

Raavi kissed both his cheeks and said-

RAAVI-See I have planned all this for us. Today is our last night together( she blurted out emotional)

Shiva's expressions changed. He looked at Raavi in shock

SHIVA- What?

RAAVI- (realising what she said) Yes. Today is our last night together like this. Tomorrow onwards we are gonna be fiancé ( she hugged him and cried as she knew this was not true)

Shiva was a little shocked by her behaviour today. In these months, they had made love quite a few times but it was always natural and unsaid.Never had they planned anything like this. Anyway he was liking it.

RAAVI- Shiva I have something for you.

SHIVA- OMG So many surprises together.

Raavi took out a ring from her purse and looked at Shiva.

SHIVA- What is this for?

RAAVI- To celebrate our togetherness ( deep down she meant last moment of togetherness)

Raavi made him wear the ring and he kissed her cheeks.

RAAVI- Promise me you'll never take this ring out. It will always remind you of me.

SHIVA- Promise. But why will it remind me of you? Now you are gonna be with me all my life and I will see you every day and night, love you every day and night (side hug and forehead kiss)

RAAVI- What if I don't be with you some day?

SHIVA- What? This will never happen. You are my life Raavi. If you go away, Shiva Pandya's life will be gone.

Raavi put a finger on his lips and nodded her head in a no.

SHIVA- But I didn't get any gift for you. I am Sorry(made a cute pout)

RAAVI- You are my biggest gift. Love me Shiva. Love me like never before.

She move forward for a kiss and claimed her lips on his. They shared a passionate kiss fighting for dominance. He bit her lower lip and explored her mouth fully. He broke the kiss for need of air.

SHIVA- I love you Raavi( panting)

He planted wet kisses on her neck and earlobe to which she moaned softly. This aroused his even more and he removed her Saree and kissed her collarbone. They locked their lips again.

Shiva took her in a bridal style and kept her on the bed not breaking the kiss. He took off his shirt. She gestured through her hand that she wanted him more. Shiva fulfilled all her desires. He was getting to see a different side of her today.

Usually she was the shy and submissive one but tonight she was dominant and he let her dominate. They spent hours making love and slept in each other's embrace.

At midnight, Raavi woke up and saw her love sleeping next to her. She just wanted to register each moment of this night into her memory. On this memory she had to survive all her life. She cried silently imagining the scene when she leaves him and how she will have to face his hatred. She hugged him and didn't sleep again.

Shiva woke up at 4o' clock and saw Raavi staring at him.

SHIVA- What are you doing?

RAAVI- Loving you.

SHIVA- How?

RAAVI- Through my eyes.

They shared another small kiss and got up because they needed to reach their homes before everyone started looking for them as they had a day function. Shiva put on his clothes, hugged her and left. She stood there crying. It was the last hug they shared.

Afternoon in the Pandya Niwas, guests had started arriving and Shiva was the happiest soul alive on Earth today. He was looking extremely handsome in a black kurta and enjoying the function.

Just when he was greeting all the guests, he saw Ma, Papa and Raavi entering. Raavi was looking like an angel in this beautiful back lehenga. His heart smiled thinking that this angel was going to be his forever officially today.

All of them greeted each other and praised each other. He could sense that all three of them were tensed. He wanted to talk to her but couldn't because the auspicious time of exchanging rings had started. Both of them sat on the sofa. Dhara handed them the rings and instructed to exchange them.

Shiva took the ring and waited for Raavi to give her hand. But Raavi didn't forward her hand.

DHARA- Raavi give you hand. Shiva is waiting.

Raavi still didn't give her hand infact stood up, to everyone's shock.

SHIVA- Raavi what happened?

RAAVI- Shiva do you love me?

SHIVA- What is this question? Of course I love you.

RAAVI- I have a condition for marriage.

SHIVA- What are you talking Raavi? What happened suddenly Raavi.

RAAVI- Reality struck my mind. I have a condition for marriage that's it.

Shiva was upset and angry but he trusted her. He calmed himself.

SHIVA- Okay what is it?

RAAVI- We will live separate from Bhaiya Bhabhi after marriage. Okay?

It seemed somebody dropped a bombshell over all of them but most importantly Shiva. He couldn't believe what he heard because Raavi had always been very fond of Gautam and Dhara. She knew the importance they had in his life.

SHIVA- What are you saying Raavi? You know this is impossible. I can't leave them. Never.

RAAVI- Why Shiva? I have realised one thing. I won't get real respect and won't hold any value in this house until Dhara Di is the head. So it's better we live separate.

Dhara started crying. She came to Raavi and held her shoulder to explain things to her, to explain her that she didn't need to be insecure, that she will get all the love from them. Now Raavi executed her final plan. She shrugged off her pushing her a little. Dhara fell.

Raavi did it carefully so as to impose no harm to her or her baby. But she knew Shiva won't tolerate this.

SHIVA- Raavi!!(shouted) What has happened to you?

RAAVI- My decision is final now. Choose- Me or Bhai Bhabhi?

Shiva was shocked. He didn't know what to do. He was seeing his love changing but he couldn't leave Gautam and Dhara. A tear escaped his eyes. He held Raavi's hands

SHIVA- Why are you doing this Raavi? Please don't do this. If you are upset about something, we will discuss.

RAAVI- There is nothing to be discussed Shiva. You'll have to choose.

Shiva lost it now. He was angry,he was sad, he was anxious. He remembered the moments he had spent with her, specially the last night. But he couldn't forget what all Dhara and Gautam had done for him.

SHIVA- You are right. Nothing is left to be discussed. I'll choose Bhai Bhabhi anyday over anybody.

GAUTAM- Raavi please calm down and think again.

RAAVI- I am Sorry Bhaiya but you have already heard what your brother said. He is so devoted to you two that he can never fulfill his responsibilities for me.

DHARA- Please don't do this Raavi. Please.

RAAVI- I have no other choice. I think we should call off this wedding.

Ground slipped from under Shiva's feet. He didn't know what to do.

RAAVI - Ma Papa let's go.

As she started moving, Shiva held her wrist and stopped her. Tears started rolling down her eyes but she wiped them.

SHIVA- Are you sure Raavi? You love was this much only? A small hurdle and you are doing this.(on the verge of crying)

Raavi turned and removed his hand.

RAAVI- I am not doing this. You are doing. You can never be mine unless you leave them. And I know you won't leave them. So this is the best thing.

She started walking towards the gate. Shiva stood there like a stone. No emotion on his face.

All the guests started gossipping about both the families and especially Raavi. They were speaking ill about her character and her upbringing.

Even after so much pain that Raavi inflicted upon him, he could not hear anything against her. He told all of them to shut up and leave.

Once all the guests leaved, he fell on his knees and cried her heart out. Dhara came and hugged him. He was inconsolable. Flashes of last night and all previous days and nights of their togetherness came in front of him.

Other side, Raavi was crying continuously since they came out of Pandya Niwas. She was also inconsolable.

RAAVI- I am Sorry Ma Papa. I know you will have to hear a lot because of me. But I didn't have any other option.

MA- Don't be Sorry beta. We know why you did this and we promised we will always support you.

PA- So today also. But I am really worried for Shiva. How will he control himself?

Raavi hugged both of them and went to her where she cried all evening and night. She kept looking at all her pictures with Shiva in her phone as she had to live looking at them only now all her life.

Shiva cried hard and after that, he hadn't said a word till the next morning. In the morning while bathing, he saw the ring she gave him.

He wanted to throw that ring out but his promise stopped him. He took a long bath and came out all fresh.

4 Months Later

Shiva woke up, got ready, had his breakfast and went to the store. He worked their all day, picked Dhara's medicines while coming home and came back. He had his dinner and went to sleep.

This had become his daily routine, neither he shared his feelings with anybody nor let anyone know what he was thinking. He completed all his duties though, took proper care of Dhara and Gautam.

But he had locked himself emotionally. He was just a robot now who completed all his job on time but never shared anything with anybody.

His state was worrying Gautam and Dhara but they didn't know how to get the old optimistic fun loving Shiva back. Their hearts ached seeing their son in this state. Shiva knew this but had no solution to this. He was doing the best in his capacity.
