Ashley is going to be a junior and has finally accepted the fact that she lesbian, but isn't quite ready to tell her parents, or the kids at school for that matter. Then her best friend, Josh, drags her to a party, she unexpectedly changes her mind and drunkenly announces her sexual preference to a house full of Josh's classmates, kids she doesn't even know. She is now stuck dealing with the consequences of her drunken announcement and has to face her strict christian family and tell them, before they find out from elsewhere. In the meantime she meets a girl and not only falls, but falls hard. Follow Ashley through the family hardships of her being gay and the romantic whirlwind of her first love.

Prologue

        Ashley has had feelings for girls as long as her friends have had feelings for boys. When high school came along her life changed, she got new friends and started secretly acting on her feelings. It wasn't until she saw her old friend, who recently came out, with his boyfriend that she realized her feelings weren't a bad thing and that she should allow herself to be happy, even if it went against what her church, and parents, believed in. She told Josh that night but is too scared, and nervous, to come out to her family and classmates. Not wanting to be treated differently, Ashley decides to keep her feelings a secret for a while. But fate has a different plan for her and her junior year at Campbell Christian High, the strict Christian school she attends.
