Ink's POV
Tisha sprawled out on my bed, staring up at the ceiling, while I laid several blankets on the floor to make a bed. Since she was over I allowed her to have my bed while I took the floor.
Tisha: You know, you don't have to sleep on the floor. You can just sleep in the master bedroom like you have been doing.
Me: I... didn't think about that. However I still want to sleep in here with you.
Tisha: Aw you're sweet.
Once I had constructed my make-shift bed, I picked myself up from the floor and joined my bestie on the mattress. Tisha rolled over onto her stomach and moved her legs back and forth slowly.
Tisha: So you want to start doing hair?
Me: I hate to inform you but it's not exactly in my genetics to have hair.
Tisha: Not you, silly.
I let out a soft giggle and got up with her. Tisha grabbed a small bag and followed me to the guest bathroom just down the hall. She sat in the chair, that I had placed there earlier, and zipped open the bag to take out some products and tools that she used for her dark curly hair.
I released a groan, knowing that she was going to have me do a lengthy process.
Me: This could take hours. You sure you don't want to do an afro?
I joked and Tisha gave me an unamused yet amused expression. She nodded which told me that she wanted to do the hairstyle we planned.
The first step was to straighten her hair in preparation for braiding it. During the process we gossiped about people at work and complained about the bullshit. I had less to talk about in that topic since the people at Error's company were pretty friendly.
With her instructions, I properly prepped her hair and then split the strands into separate pieces.
Me: So how tight do you want these braids?
Tisha: I would say... probably as tight as my sister's budget.
Me: That's pretty tight, you sure? You might get a headache.
My brow furrowed as I looked at her through the reflection of the mirror.
Tisha: Absolutely.
Me: Alright.
I began taking the separate strands and carefully intertwining them, slowly creating multiple small braids. This was going to take hours.

Error's POV
I opened the garage door and pulled my car in through the driveway. After turning it off I rushed into the house so I start winding down from a long day of work. I loosened my necktie and placed my backpack on the kitchen island before walking down the hallway towards my room.
As I walked, I passed the guest bathroom and heard laughing. I stopped in my tracks and turned towards the door. I gently knocked on the door with the knuckle of my index finger before slowly pushing it open. I saw Ink and Tisha at the sink while doing her hair.
Me: Hey you two. Good day?
They both nodded before quick firing several sentences that contained what they had done earlier. They were beginning to fuse into one long sentence but I tried to focus intently on each one. I smiled by how happy they were and let them continue.
I changed into comfortable clothing, a light grey sweater and a pair of black slacks, and returned to the kitchen to start cooking dinner for the three of us. The news channel played on the television as I chopped vegetables for a soup.
My peace was suddenly broken when a knock sounded from the front door. I placed the knife on the cutting board, threw a towel over my shoulder, and went to greet the unexpected visitor. Once I was met with the mysterious knocker, my eyes slightly widened with surprise.
Me: Damien. What's up?
Damien: I... um... need a place to stay.
I heard Tisha's laughter from the hallway. Damien's ears flicked, picking up on the faint sound.
Damien: Oh you have visitors. I'll go so I don't dampen the mood.
Me: No. Come inside. I will never turn you away.
I said as I grabbed his arm and pulled him into the foyer. I closed the door behind him and gave him a minute. His fur showed recent signs of crying but I knew he would never admit to it.
After he took off his shoes, I motioned him to join me at the kitchen counter as I cooked. I would need to adjust the portions so that the soup would be able to feed four instead of three. I had also made note to let Ink and Tisha know that we had another attending the sleepover.
Damien sat at the island as I walked to the fridge. Upon opening it I browsed through the several stored items and found what I was looking for. I grabbed two bottles of beer and placed them on the marble counter. Taking off their lids, I handed one to the wolf before taking a sip of my own.
Damien: I didn't know you kept these drinks in your household. Beer is so... manly.
He said while chuckling. I could tell he was trying to cheer himself up.
Me: You forget I'm a manly gay. I am not a theater or feminine gay, that's Ink.
I played along with him. I had to admit that the taste of yeast was a shock to my tongue as I rarely had beer, I really only used it for cooking.
From the corner I saw Ink and Tisha enter the kitchen, Tisha having a new hairstyle. They stopped talking when they noticed the ginormous forest green werewolf. Ink shot a glance in my direction, confused by the guest.
Me: Damien needed a place to stay for the night. Do you two mind if he joins the sleepover?
Tisha's original expression of surprise quickly shifted into one of excitement.
Tisha: Not at all! The more the merrier!
She yelled, finding a seat next to Damien at the island. My best friend wiped his face to dry the tears before showing his iconic toothy grin. If I didn't know him personally, I would have never guessed he was going through a divorce.
Tisha: I'm Tisha. Nice to meet you.
Damien: Damien. I've heard a lot about you from Error. I'm told that you're the troublemaker of the duo.
Tisha: You've been told correctly my good sir.
She stated proudly as she bowed, leading to Damien to laugh. They continued to share conversation as Ink and I stood together while watching the soup slowly brew to perfection. We were listening in on their talk.
Ink shared me a small look and whispered.
Ink: I'm glad they're getting along. Our besties made new besties.
I nodded in response.
I decided that the soup was finally done so I pulled out four bowls and filled them, placing them at different spots on the island.
Me: Dinner is served, your majesties.

Ink's POV
We all sat on the floor in the living room, intently watching the movie that played on the television. The lights were turned off and all the blankets and pillows that were available were laid on the floor. Because of the new addition to our group, Tisha suggested that we sleep in the living room.
Error returned from the kitchen with popcorn and an assortment of sweets. He placed them on the coffee table and went to join me on the floor. He slightly groaned as he sat down next to me.
Error: I'm getting too old for this floor stuff.
Damien: Ha, loser.
The wolf said without looking away from the television.
Error: You're older than me, jackass.
He fired back as he got comfortable. I leaned into him and gave him permission to wrap his arm around my shoulder.
Tisha was lying on her stomach with her head resting against her arm so she would look up to watch the movie. Her now braided long hair was tied up in a bun and she had changed into matching lilac purple shorts and tank. Damien was curled up in a blanket, holding a cup of decaf coffee and the fur on his head that was normally tied back was let loose.
I released a soft breath and closed my eyes.
It was a good day
